ADJUSTABLE TRANSVERSE RESISTANCE EXERCISE MACHINE
An adjustably tensioned, transverse-suspended elastic element exercise device is disclosed. The transverse element is suspended between rigidly mounted frame or arm elements and sized so as to enable full range of motion exercises. The tension and height of the transverse elastic member can be adjusted to accommodate varying exercise levels and positions. The assembly may include handgrips and attachments to augment workouts. Electronic adjustability, metrics, programmability and Internet connectivity enhance the user experience. A method of using the device is also disclosed.
Exercise system and kit
An exercise apparatus, system, or kit that includes separate components that can be used together during a workout. In one embodiment, the exercise kit includes a hub having a monolithic body portion and sleeve portions thereon. During use, only the sleeve portions contact the surface upon which the hub is located. The hub also has an annular groove formed therein and a bore formed therethrough. The kit also includes an elongated bar that is configured to interact with the hub in multiple positions to enable user to perform difference exercises. The different positions include: (1) a first exercise position wherein the elongated bar is positioned within the bore and portions of the elongated bar protrude from the first and second ends of the monolithic body portion; and (2) a second exercise position wherein the elongated bar is positioned within the annular groove.
Collapsible hand exercise assembly
A collapsible hand exercise assembly is disclosed. The frame comprises a substantially rectangular box having a plurality of panels to define a hollow upper section and the box is removably attached to a hollow vertical member via a fastening mechanism. The hollow vertical member is fixedly attached to a weighted base section of the frame. The hollow section comprises a plurality of resilient members tensioned to the sidewalls of the rectangular box is configured to provide resistance for muscles when a user performs the hand exercise.
Adjustable transverse resistance exercise machine
An adjustably-tensioned, transverse-suspended elastic element exercise device is disclosed. The transverse element is suspended between upright frame elements sized so as to enable full range of motion exercises. The tension and height of the elastic member can be adjusted so as to accommodate varying exercise levels and positions. The assembly may include handgrips and attachments to augment workouts. Electronic adjustability, metrics, programmability and Internet connectivity enhance the user experience. A method of using the device is also disclosed.
Shoulder exercise machine
Shoulder exercising machines (machines) may be disclosed. Such machines might include an upper member, a lower member, and a resistance member. The upper member and the lower member may be slidingly engaged with each other. The resistance member may provide resistance with respect to the upper member sliding against the lower member. The resistance member may be at least one elongate elastic member with two opposing terminal ends. The upper member have a handle and an upper surface for supporting at least a portion of a forearm and/or a wrist of a user during exercises with the machine. The user may push or pull the handle, and slide the upper member with respect to the lower member while experiencing resistance due to the resistance member.
Trampoline equipment and methods
A trampoline includes a jumping mat, a supporting frame, and a plurality of levers. The supporting frame is located proximal a jumping periphery of the jumping mat. The plurality of levers circumextend the jumping periphery. Each of the plurality of levers includes a rigid element connected to the supporting frame. The rigid element includes a jump mat end and a frame end. The rigid element pivots about a fulcrum connected to and supported by the supporting frame. The jump mat end is connected to the jumping mat at a jumping mat connection located proximal the jumping periphery. A tensioner is connected between the lever at a tensioner attachment and the supporting frame. Each lever and tensioner is configured to apply tension to the jumping mat in the form of a force applied against the jumping periphery of the jumping mat in a direction away from the jumping mat.
Portable and foldable gluteus maximus bridging and hip thrusting exercise apparatus
An apparatus that satisfies the need for a portable and foldable exercise equipment to perform glute bridge, hip thrust and other resistance band exercises without the need for additional equipment. The apparatus includes opposing panels hingedly connected, and accommodations to affix resistance bands to the panels. A cross member is preferably hingedly connected to one panel and extends through an opening and engages the other panel. A resistance band may include an adjustable belt so that a user may securely fasten himself or herself between the opposing panels and the resistance band to perform the glute bridge, hip thrust or other exercises.
Exercise wedge and method of use
A portable exercise device designed to efficiently and safely exercise the gluteal, hamstring and calf muscles. The exercise device is an inclined platform with an elongated resistance band attached to both sides of the upper surface of the inclined platform, providing resistance from the sides of the platform. An additional raised support is provided on the inclined platform, as well as resistance originating from within the platform, which optimizes the concentric and eccentric phase of every squat and lunge for maximal strength and hypertrophy of the muscles. The combination of the inclined platform with resistance from the sides and from the platform itself allows the user to conduct a variety of exercises for strengthening the muscles of the lower body.
ELASTIC EXERCISE DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING
In one embodiment a fitness device is disclosed. The fitness device may include a central handle having a body with a central aperture through the body. The device may also include a first rod removably coupled to the central handle at a first location and a second rod removably coupled to the central handle at a second location, opposite the first location. The device may also include an elastic member having a first end and a second end, the first end being coupled to the first rod and the second end being coupled to the second rod.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY DEVICES
The disclosure features physical activity devices that include (a) a central footrest, configured to receive at least a portion of a foot of a user, (b) a plurality of elongated sleeves, each sleeve having an inner and an outer surface, and being configured to at least partially enclose an elongated tubular support member, and having spaced grooves in its outer surface extending generally perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the sleeve, and (c) at least two loops extending from the footrest, the loops being configured to be received by the grooves so that the sleeves support the footrest above a surface on which the tubular support members are positioned. The disclosure also features methods of using such devices.
