Exercise devices and systems
An exercise device includes a pivot adjustably positioned at an intermediate point along the length of an elongate support element. One or more lower body supports are mounted on the elongate support element on a first side of the pivot and one or more upper body supports mounted on the elongate support on a second side of the pivot. The device may be used in push up, sit up, inverted pull up or leg raise modes.
ANKLE REHABILITATION DEVICE
A device for rehabilitating or strengthening the ankle includes a plank that is connected by a transversely oriented hinge and a longitudinally oriented pivot, as well as a pair of compression springs at its forward end. The connections of the plank to the underlying base limit the plank to motion in two directions about two axes, thereby providing four types of therapeutic ranges of motion, including dorsiflexion and plantar flexion, eversion and inversion. A transversely slidable foot rest enables the user to hold device 21 in position with one foot while using the plank of the device to rehabilitate the other foot.
A PHYSIOTHERAPEUTIC BRACE AND METHODS THEREOF
The present invention discloses a modular brace, mountable on a joint, configured for exercising at least one muscle connected to, or otherwise affecting the function of, the joint, the brace comprising: lateral and medial rigid articulated cages, lateral and medial replaceable elastic members, and at least one joint-covering, replaceable elastic member. The lateral, medial, and at least one joint-covering, replaceable elastic members are configured to produce predetermined resistance force against muscles connected to the joint. The lateral and medial cages are configured for restriction of the joint's motion to the normal articulation of the joint. At least one joint-covering elastic member is adapted to simultaneously protect the joint from external insult while preventing pressure on the same.
Squat exercise apparatus
A squat exercise apparatus may comprise a support structure, a user adjustable resistance source and lift arms supported by the support structure and operably coupled to the user adjustable resistance source. In one implementation, the lift arms may be pivotable relative to the support structure about three orthogonal axes. In one implementation, shoulder pads carried by the lift arms may automatically pivot in response to pivoting of the lift arms relative to the support structure. In one implementation, at least one weight movement arm may have an adjustable length. In one implementation, a weight movement arm rest may be pivotable between a weight movement arm engaging position and a retracted position, wherein interacting portions of the weight movement arm rest and the weight movement arm are magnetically attracted to one another to magnetically retain the weight movement arm rest in the weight movement arm engaging position.
PEDAL-TYPE VIBRATIONAL APPARATUS
A pedal-type vibrational apparatus includes a seat body, a pedal assembly, a gear plate assembly, a drive assembly and an eccentric assembly, like a lever structure. By treading the pedal assembly, the gear plate assembly drives the drive assembly to rotate. The drive assembly is connected with the eccentric assembly. The user can fully exercise the muscles of the body during exercise, and the vibrational effect generated by the eccentric assembly can stimulate the acupuncture points of the body to improve the blood circulation. The left and right pedals can be treaded in turn to continuously drive a gear to rotate in the same direction so as to achieve the effect of acceleration and to enhance vibrations.
EXERCISE DEVICE
A multipurpose exercise device having a base that rests on a support surface and a user platform upon which the user stands. The lower end of a perpendicular support post is mounted to the base to axially pivot thereon and the upper end of the post is pivotally mounted to the lower surface of the user platform. The user platform pivots with the support post in a horizontal plane parallel to the support surface and pivots on the support post in a vertical plane perpendicular to the horizontal support surface. Resistance elements are provided having one end mounted to the support post and the other end mounted to the base to control the velocity and angle of pivot of the user platform in the horizontal plane. Preferably, a plurality of resistance elements are provided having one end mounted to the base and the other end mounted to the user platform to control the velocity and angle of pivot of the user platform in the vertical plane. In use, the user stands on the user platform and performs exercise motions to propel the user platform to pivot in the horizontal plane and the vertical plane.
EXERCISE APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING A GLUTEAL BRIDGE MOVEMENT
The present disclosure provides an exercise apparatus designed to allow a user to perform a gluteal bridge, typically with resistance, to improve the strength of the user's posterior hip and gluteal muscles. The exercise apparatus is configurable for use in different environmentsin a gym, fitness center or training facility, a spa or studio, or a home gym. The exercise apparatus includes a frame assembly, a bench assembly, and a resistance assembly. The bench assembly is pivotally connected to the frame assembly to provide an elevated pivot point about which the bench assembly pivots when the user performs the gluteal bridge movement. The resistance assembly is operably connected to the bench assembly and provides a resistance force that the user overcomes in order to pivotally move the bench through the gluteal bridge movement. The resistance assembly can include a cable, pulley and weight stack, or an elastically deformable band.
DORSIFLEX & PLANTARFLEX EXERCISE MACHINE
The therapeutic rehabilitation device of the current invention utilizes two parallel independent foot pedals on one side of the device, for isolated ankle exercises, and a larger flat board on the other side of the device, large enough for two feet to rest on, for use in active assistance exercises. In the resting position, the two pedals and the large flat board are horizontal. When the user wants to use the therapeutic rehabilitation device for active assistance rehabilitation, the user places the device on the ground with the two pedals resting on the ground, and the large flat board, two straps and frictional pads to secure the feet facing upward. When the user wants to use the therapeutic rehabilitation device for active isolated exercise, the user flips the device over, with the flat board, two straps and frictional pads to secure the feet facing the ground, and the two pedals facing upward.
Exercise device
An exercise device for seated exercising and heat therapy includes a chair, to which a plurality of biasers is operationally engaged. A pair of footrests and a pair of handrests are operationally engaged to the chair. Each footrest and each handrest is engageable to an associated foot and an associated hand of the user, respectively. The footrest is operationally engaged to a respective biaser so that the respective biaser is positioned to resist movement of the footrest relative to the chair. The handrest is operationally engaged to a respective biaser so that the respective biaser is positioned to resist movement of the handrest relative to the chair. The footrests and the handrests thus are useful in exercising feet and hands of the user, respectively. A plurality of heating elements, which is engaged to the chair, the footrests, and the handrests, can warm an abdomen and joints of the user.
BED WITH EXERCISE FUNCTION
A bed with an exercise function includes: an upper exercise arm which is embedded in an insertion groove formed in a front surface or peripheral part of the head part, has a horizontal bar and leg parts extending downward from both ends of the horizontal bar, and is rotatable to protrude forward by a rotary support part provided at a lower end of the leg part; and a rotation stopping part which is coupled to the upper exercise arm and stops rotation of the upper exercise arm in a state in which the upper exercise arm protrudes forward at a predetermined angle.
