Gloves for Adjusting and Controlling Resistance to Hand Movement, and Related Methods Thereof
A glove having a top surface and a bottom surface is described herein. The top surface and the bottom surface each have an inner surface and an outer surface. The glove includes a plurality of resistance bands, which can be configured to be removably attached to the glove. The resistance bands can be removably attached at connection points on the outer surface of the glove. The glove can also include at least one adjustable resistance mechanism connected to the glove. The adjustable resistance mechanism is configured to adjust degrees of resistance to motion via the resistance bands.
Grip Strength Trainer with an Integrated Stapler
A grip strength trainer with an integrated stapler uses a finger grip and a grip-engagement mechanism to enable a user to selectively staple documents or train grip strength. The stapler has a base and a top cover that are hingedly, and terminally, connected about a pin. So that the stapler can perform stapling and strength training operations by pivoting the top cover toward the base. The finger grip is mounted onto the base, opposite to the top cover so that the user is able to establish a stable grip. The grip-engagement mechanism is a spring-loaded actuation system that enables the user to select between performing stapling and strength training operations. The grip-engagement mechanism has a mode-switching slot that passes through the finger grip and forms the track along which a mode-control lever travels. The mode control lever enables the user to selectively perform stapling or strength training operations.
EXERCISE APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING A GLUTEAL BRIDGE MOVEMENT
The present disclosure provides an exercise apparatus designed to allow a user to perform a gluteal bridge, typically with resistance, to improve the strength of the user's posterior hip and gluteal muscles. The exercise apparatus is configurable for use in different environmentsin a gym, fitness center or training facility, a spa or studio, or a home gym. The exercise apparatus includes a frame assembly, a bench assembly, and a resistance assembly. The bench assembly is pivotally connected to the frame assembly to provide an elevated pivot point about which the bench assembly pivots when the user performs the gluteal bridge movement. The resistance assembly is operably connected to the bench assembly and provides a resistance force that the user overcomes in order to pivotally move the bench through the gluteal bridge movement. The resistance assembly can include a cable, pulley and weight stack, or an elastically deformable band.
Squat rack
A squat rack includes a frame, a tread unit, a lifting unit, a pulling unit and a connector. The tread unit includes two treads connected to and located on two sides of the frame for supporting a user's feet so that the frame is firmly kept on the ground by the user. The lifting unit is pivotally connected to the frame and located behind the user in operation. The pulling unit includes a middle portion pivotally connected to a front end of the frame. The connector pivotally connects a lower end of the pulling unit to the lifting unit so that the user can pull the pulling unit to cause the lifting unit to support the user's hips via the connector.
Occupational therapy device
A device and method for alleviating extremity pain and improving range of motion using a mobile mirror with functional activity attachments. Secured symmetrical functional objects for manipulation are positioned either along side, in front, or on the mirror itself. The individual looks at the reflection of the non-affected extremity manipulating the functional attachment while both extremities perform the activity. The occupational therapy device is simple to use and can relocate to either tabletop or floor. The large mirror accommodates longer arms and legs for improved visual field and can be rotated for either vertical or horizontal orientation.
COMPACT BALANCE BOARDS AND SYSTEM USING SAME
A compact balance board including a first board having a plate shape, a second board spaced a predetermined distance from a lower portion of and parallel to the first board, a shaft coupled to a bottom portion of or extending in one piece from the bottom portion of the first board, a pivot support connecting the shaft and the second board so as to allow three-dimensional pivotal motions in which the first board or the second board is shaken and rotated, at least one elastic member positioned between the first and the second board so as to provide elasticity for keeping the first board and the second board in parallel to each other, and a sliding member installed on one end portion or both end portions of the elastic member so as to allow the elastic member to be slidingly rotated when the first or the second board is rotated.
Orthostatic hypotension alleviation device
An orthostatic hypotension alleviation device comprising an outer casing comprising an aperture extending therethrough; a carriage arranged within the outer casing and configured to be reciprocally displaced towards and away from the aperture along a carriage displacement axis; a spindle arranged on the carriage and configured to rotate about a spindle axis; a tether at least partially wound around the spindle, the tether comprising a distal end extending through the aperture, the tether being arranged such that it can be extended from a retracted configuration to an extended configuration in which the tether is fully extended by pulling the distal end away from the aperture so rotating the spindle about the spindle axis; a spindle biasing mechanism connected to the spindle and configured to apply a biasing torque to the spindle about the spindle axis so as to bias the tether towards the retracted configuration; and, a carriage biasing mechanism arranged within the outer casing connected to the carriage and configured to bias the carriage away from the aperture.
Portable Calf Building Machine
This innovative, top-quality product provides a fully operational calf building machine that can be used in diverse settings as one watches TV at home, while doing the dishes, or even while working at an office, for example. As a result, the Portable Calf Machine may benefit all individuals who seek to have a more convenient and efficient means of building their calves, at their leisure.
Exercise device
An exercise device includes a footwear part, a brace part and at least one resistance band. The footwear part has a foot receiving portion configured to receive a front portion of a user's foot. The brace part is configured to be releasably attached to a knee area of the user. The at least one resistance band is configured to be releasably secured at opposite ends thereof to the footwear part and brace part, respectively. The exercise device can be used, among other things, for conditioning and strengthening, for aerobic exercises, and to help individuals maintain proper foot placement throughout an entire exercise and improve their form by helping them stay on their forefoot when performing an exercise dealing with brisk walking or running.
