Foldable Fitness Equipment
A foldable fitness equipment includes: an upper fixing member; a lower fixing member including a plurality of fixing holes; a pivot rod pivoted between the upper fixing member and the lower fixing member; a frame foldably pivoted between the upper fixing member and the lower fixing member, and including an upper and a lower frame portions; and a positioning unit including a positioning member and a resetting member. The positioning member is movable between a positioning position and a release position, includes a control portion and a positioning pin portion for inserting into or detaching from the fixing holes, and the resetting member allows for the positioning member to return to the positioning position from the release position. By controlling the displacement of the positioning member, the frame is pivoted and positioned relative to the upper and lower fixing members, so that the frame can be folded.
Adjustable resistance exercise machine
An adjustable resistance exercise machine for providing variable resistance forces on a pull cable extending from the machine. The adjustable resistance exercise machine generally includes a plurality of power springs that may be selectively engaged using a cam mechanism. By engaging springs with different forces, the resistance may be adjusted incrementally as preferred for performing different exercises. The adjustable resistance exercise machine may be connected to various structures, either below or above an exerciser, to allow the exerciser to choose whether to pull the pull cable up or down during exercise.
Exercise assist apparatus
An exercise assist apparatus may include a frame and a cam assembly pivotally connected to the frame. A cable having one end fixedly secured to the frame may extend over a traveling pulley operably connected to the cam assembly and about a fixed pulley connected to the frame. One or more flexible progressive resistance bands may provide substantially linear assistance/resistance throughout an exercise.
EXERCISE APPARATUS FOR EXERCISING THE NECK MUSCLES
An exercise apparatus for exercising the neck muscles with a frame and an exercise mechanism which is mounted on the frame, which can be coupled to a coupling member that can be worn on or around the head of a person who is exercising, wherein the exercise mechanism comprises a cross slide which makes available two translation axes on which a rail is mounted so as to be adjustable in height and rotatable, in such a way that, by means of the exercise mechanism, the coupling member is rotatable about three rotation axes and is movable in translation along three translation axes.
COMPACT INERTIAL MUSCLE TRAINING DEVICE
Compact inertial device for muscle training, consisting of a pulling body (1) and a drive rope (2). The pulling body (1) in turn comprises a rotating main shaft (4), a reel (8) mounted on the main shaft (4), an inertia element (6) linked solidly to one end of the main shaft (4) for accumulation of kinetic energy from the rotation of the main shaft (4), and a planetary gear (5), which in turn comprises a central gear mounted on the main shaft (4), for multiplication of the transmission speed from the main shaft (4) driven by the reel (8) to the inertia element (6). In its preferred embodiment, the spool (8) is a conical spool with a smaller diameter sector to which one end of the rope (2) is solidly attached.
Exercise apparatus and assemblies facilitating removable attachment of a resistance device to an exercise apparatus
Assemblies are for attaching a resistance mechanism to an exercise apparatus. In one example, the assembly has a pulley cable having a first end portion for being coupled to the resistance mechanism and a second end portion coupled to the exercise apparatus; and a plunger device facilitating coupling and uncoupling of the pulley cable to and from the exercise apparatus. The plunger device is movable into a first position in which the plunger device couples the pulley cable to the exercise apparatus and into a second position in which the plunger device uncouples the pulley cable from the exercise apparatus.
Adjustable resistance exercise machine
An adjustable resistance exercise machine for providing variable resistance forces on a pull cable extending from the machine. The adjustable resistance exercise machine generally includes a plurality of power springs that may be selectively engaged using an adjustment mechanism. By engaging springs with different forces, the resistance may be adjusted incrementally as preferred for performing different exercises. The adjustable resistance exercise machine may be connected to various structures, either below or above an exerciser, to allow the exerciser to choose whether to pull the pull cable up or down during exercise.
Bi-directional exercise machines
A bi-directional exercise machine has a work arm, first and second cams coupled to the work arm, a resistance mechanism, and a pulley assembly that couples the resistance mechanism to the work arm via the first and second cams so that movement of the work arm is resisted by the resistance mechanism according to first and second resistance profiles provided by the first and second cams, respectfully. A primary pulley cable has a first end coupled to the first cam and a second end coupled to the second cam. When the work arm is in a rest position, the ends of the primary pulley cable extend from cable tracks of the cams, respectively, at a tangent so that the resistance mechanism applies a resistance force on the work arm via the pulley assembly immediately upon movement of the work arm out of the rest position.
REPOSITIONING POINT OF ACTUATION FOR AN EXERCISE APPLIANCE
An exercise machine comprises an arm support, including: a carriage configured to slide within a track attached to the exercise machine; and a support assembly that floats the carriage relative to the track, wherein the support assembly is disengaged by the application of force via the arm. An exercise machine comprises a rotatable column, wherein the column supports an arm, and a gear detent mechanism to support a discrete number of positions for the rotatable column. An exercise machine comprises a tiltable arm, and a mechanism to support a discrete number of positions for the tiltable arm.
