Exercising Apparatus
Systems and methods for an exercise apparatus are provided and include a flexible elongated member, a binding apparatus, and a motor assembly. The binding apparatus is attached to the flexible elongated member and has a clamping mechanism configured to secure a shoe of a user of the exercise apparatus to the flexible elongated member. The motor assembly is disposed between the shoe and the flexible elongated member and is configured to cause the flexible elongated member to oscillate.
Apparatus and method for strengthening the foot, ankle, and/or lower leg
An ankle-strengthening device includes a stretchable band including a first portion and a second portion. A tubular portion has a proximal end and distal end. The tubular portion is fixed between the first portion of the stretchable band and the second portion of the stretchable band. The proximal end of the tubular portion has at an opening configured to receive a toe of a user. A fastener portion has a first attachment point and a second attachment point, such that, when fixed on the lower leg of the user, the first attachment point of the fastener is configured to connect with the first portion of the stretchable band, and the second attachment point of the fastener portion is configured to connect with the second portion of the stretchable band, thereby creating resistance to the user through dorsiflexion and/or pronation upon application of the device by the user.
TORQUE FORCE TRAINING SYSTEM
Disclosed are example embodiments of for a torque force training system. The torque force training system including a first weighted end collar, a second weighted end collar, a first massage tool, a second massage tool, and a center connecting core configured to connect the first massage tool and the second massage tool, the first massage tool configured to couple to the first weighted end collar and the second massage tool configured to couple to the second weighted end collar. The center connecting core may be coupled to the first massage tool and the second massage tool, the first massage tool opposite the second massage tool. The first massage tool may be coupled to the first weighted end collar and the second massage tool may be coupled to the second weighted end collar.
Sports training system and method
A physical training system includes a belt for fixing around the waist of a person and that includes a plurality of belt extension straps each adapted for fixing with the belt at any location therearound and preferably adjustable in length. Two shoes are adapted for wearing on the person's feet, each shoe including at least four attachment loops at opposing quadrants of the shoe and optional shoe extension straps. A plurality of elastomeric bands are selectively fixable between any of the belt extensions straps and the attachment loops or shoe extension straps of the shoes. A shoulder harness comprising two straps is included for attachment to and positioning of the belt. As such, in use, the person while running experiences resistance as each leg extends into a fully extended position, and a reduction or cessation of resistance as each leg retracts into a non-extended position.
Modular Activity Board
An apparatus for receiving one or more activity attachments including a deck having one or more openings along a long axis of the deck and between the top surface and the bottom surface of the deck. Each of the one or more openings having a circular aperture for receiving an accessory of a set of accessories. Each accessory of the set of accessories providing an activity for a user of the activity. Each accessory having an attachment platform configured to attach the accessory to the board. The attachment platform having a locking mechanism to engaging with a complementary locking mechanism of the board.
Gait Correction Treadmill And Footwear System
A gait correction treadmill and footwear system includes a treadmill having a base, a rotating belt, and a harness device that extends upwardly from the front end of the treadmill overtop the rotating belt. Each shoe includes a wearable upper portion with pressure sensors and a control circuit between the insole, as well as electromagnets between the lower end of the insole and the shoe tread. The pressure sensors are configured to map the pressure layout of the wearer's step. The electromagnets interact with a magnetic plate disposed beneath the rotating belt. The heel ends of the shoes include a cable that connects to an adjustable harness device affixed to the treadmill. The system is configured to adjust the harness device to relieve pressure when the wearer steps and to adjust the strength of the electromagnets, thereby increasing or decreasing the force of the user's step to correct their gait.
Bed Exercise Systems and Methods
In an example, a bed exercise system includes a foot pad and first and second elastic connectors. The foot pad includes a rigid support member. The first elastic connector has a first end coupled to a first lateral side of the foot pad and a second end for coupling to a support structure. The second elastic connector has a first end coupled to a second lateral side of the foot pad and a second end coupling to the support structure. When the second ends of the first and second elastic connectors are coupled to the support structure: (i) the foot pad is movable between a first position and a second position relative to the support structure, and (ii) a tension on the first elastic connector and a tension on the second elastic connector increases as the foot pad moves from the first position to the second position.
Footrest for rowing machine
A footrest includes a base plate, two supports and two clipless pedals. The base plate has a first set of adjustment holes arranged in two rows. Each of the supports has a bottom and a pivoting seat. The bottom has two fixing holes corresponding to the first set of adjustment holes in two rows. The pivoting seat has a pivoting hole. Each of the supports is fixed onto the base plate by fastening bolts passing through the fixing holes and selective two of the first set of adjustment holes. The clipless pedals are separately screwed into the pivoting holes.
Portable lower limb therapy device
A portable lower limb therapy device having a support base and a force transfer system. The support base includes an exterior surface suitable to slide on smooth surfaces and an interior surface suitable to receive and conform to a foot of a user. The force transfer system embodied through one or two cords integrated with the support base and operates to transfer force applied behind and above the foot of a user that is in the support base to the support base. The portable lower limb therapy device may be used with a wearable anchor that is attachable to the thigh of the user of allows for the cord or cords to be fixed in place for the performance of static progressive stretch therapy motions without requiring ongoing manual force.
Yoga band and method of using said yoga band to perform a yoga pose
A yoga band is configured with a retainer band loop for donning around a hand, wrist or foot and both an inner pose strap and an outer pose strap that may be elastic to enable stretching and holding of poses. The inner pose strap and an outer pose enable different levels or extensions for performing yoga poses, or a progressive stretching from the outer pose strap to the inner pose strap, for example. A yogi may extend the outer pose strap initially, as it may extend further than the inner pose strap, and therefore may be easier to reach and hold the yoga pose. As the yogi progresses, they may extend the inner pose strap which is shorter in length, thereby achieving a greater stretch. The inner and outer pose straps are coupled with a retainer strap component of the retainer band loop to provide a secure support.
