Exercise Mat
An improvement upon exercise devices embodying mats of single substrates, multiple substrates or similar construction is disclosed. The exercise device comprises of a single substrate or multiple substrates embodying a mat as the accompanying diagrams, wherein said mat has a top end, a bottom end, an attachment mechanism and a plurality of grab holes adapted capable of receiving human hands for a person performing an exercise, or the feet of the exerciser, or any such extensions to the legs and hands, or substituting them.
SQUAT AND SPINAL FITNESS AND REHABILITATION DEVICE
An exercise device including a frame extending across a first plane, the frame defining vertical stabilization bars extending in a second plane, the frame further defining a horizontal cross bar connecting the vertical stabilization bars and configured for supporting a lower leg of a user. A swivel base couples to the frame for supporting a foot of the user. The swivel base may be fixed in a variety of positions as well as set to somewhat freely rotate while coupled to a bias spring.
Portable therapeutic strengthening apparatus using adjustable resistance
A lightweight, portable leg strengthening apparatus includes a footplate and calf support which form a leg rest, a top a friction free sliding element running longitudinally along and supported on a rectangular base. The leg rest is hinged at its attachment to the sliding element to allow a longitudinal tilting movement. The leg rest has adjustability at the hinge point at the ankle to enable alterations in the foot position. The apparatus uses resistance material/rubber cords or springs attached via a plate to a steel cable, travelling via an aperture in the end of the device to the back of the sliding element a top the body of the device to create tension as the leg rest a top the sliding element is moved longitudinally along the body of the device. Resistance can be varied and progressed by using different numbers of resistance cords/springs.
Exercise apparatus
[Problem to be Solved] Provided is an exercise apparatus which can suppress positional displacement when a user is jiggling. [Solution] The exercise apparatus 1 includes: a main body part 5 which has a placement part (smooth surface 5a), on which both legs of a user are placed, and an arc part 5b (curved surface) and rotationally moves over a predetermined range by alternate movement of the legs of the user placed on the placement part; and restraining means which restrains movement of the main body part 5 within a horizontal plane. The restraining means has a groove part 5c which is formed by removing a portion of the arc part 5b of the main body part 5 and a columnar body 3 which is fitted into the groove part 5c.
Systems and methods for an interactive pedaled exercise device
An exercise device includes a frame, handlebars supported by the frame, and a computing device. The handlebars include a yoke that is movable relative to the frame, a biasing element positioned between the yoke and the frame, and a sensor configured to measure a movement of the yoke.
Stationary exercise apparatus
A stationary exercise device having variable footpaths is disclosed. The exercise device includes a frame, a pair of supporting members that have a first end to rotate about an axis and a second end to move along a reciprocating path, a pair of pedals joined to the supporting members, and a guider assembly for adjusting an incline angle of the reciprocating path.
Upper leg and hip exercise method and device to preserve knee and ankle joint while exercising
An exercise device for performing exercises suitable to strengthen thigh and hip muscles such as a leg press machine, a total hip, a stationary bicycle, or a moving bicycle, and more particularly provides an exercise device for strengthening thigh and hip muscles while protecting the knees and ankle joints by enabling a user to locate a lower end of an arm on the user's thighs in a sitting, prone or supine position and move the user's legs in order to minimize a load or stress added to the knee and ankle joints.
Climbing exercise apparatus
A climbing exercise apparatus having homolateral and contralateral modes of operation may include a frame supporting generally vertically oriented reciprocating members. The reciprocating members may include foot supports fixedly secured at the lower distal ends thereof, and handlebars secured proximate the upper distal ends of the reciprocating members. The reciprocating members path of motion may include vertical and lateral components.
FITNESS APPARATUS AND METHOD
A vertically oriented fitness apparatus utilizes a combination of upper and lower assemblies resistant to vertical motion when the user pushes and pulls against crossbar members of the assemblies vertically. In alternate embodiments of the apparatus, resistance is provided by a dual action dashpot such as an adjustable bidirectional hydraulic damping cylinder which may be used in combination with spring resistance elements. The user is thus able to perform strength training and fitness conditioning exercises for both upper and lower extremities, and their core simultaneously while using the apparatus.
Exercise apparatus
A piece of exercise equipment particularly for improved strength training exercises. More particularly, the invention relates to equipment that allows the user to vary tension when performing different exercises. The present invention is specifically designed for improved exercise through the variability of a tension component for use in such exercises as the plank exercise, sit-ups, push-ups and supine pull-ups that includes a core support, a guide arm, a head support, and a foot support that work in conjunction to most optimally support the user. The core support, the head support and the foot support are all connected, supported, and elevated from the floor by a central support system.
