Upper Body Exercise Machine
The present invention relates to an upper body exercise machine. The exercise machine enables users to work out multiple upper body muscle groups simultaneously by a simple exercise movement. The machine includes a rotatable arm that is rotated using a handle secured to the arm. The arm is rotated using an axle (i.e. rotated around an axle) that is connected to a resistance wheel. By turning a resistance knob, resistance to the rotation of the arm can be adjusted, and a user can apply force based on the selected resistance. The arm can include a plurality of handle-mounting holes for receiving the handle to change the amount of leverage, or moment arm, applied for rotating the arm.
Exercise Mat
An improvement upon exercise devices embodying mats of single substrates, multiple substrates or similar construction is disclosed. The exercise device comprises of a single substrate or multiple substrates embodying a mat as the accompanying diagrams, wherein said mat has a top end, a bottom end, an attachment mechanism and a plurality of grab holes adapted capable of receiving human hands for a person performing an exercise, or the feet of the exerciser, or any such extensions to the legs and hands, or substituting them.
WEIGHTLIFTING SYSTEM
An exercise system includes a base structure including a first cross brace including first cross brace mounting plates disposed at each end of the first cross brace. A pair of base guide rail supports is secured to and extended substantially orthogonal from the first cross brace and includes a pair of base guide rail receivers. A pair of base pulley supports is secured to and extended substantially orthogonal from the first cross brace and further includes a pulley-support pulley housing. A pair of pulley-support pulleys is rotatably secured to the pulley-support pulley housing. A second cross brace includes a central portion substantially parallel to the first cross brace. The central portion is secured to the pair of base guide rail supports and the pair of base pulley supports. Two end portions are disposed at an angle to the central portion and terminate at second cross brace mounting plates disposed at each end of the two end portions and two central-portion pulley housings. A central-portion pulley is rotatably secured to each of the two central-portion pulley housings.
EXERCISE MACHINE SUGGESTED WEIGHTS
An exercise machine comprises an actuator, a motor coupled to the actuator, and a motor controller coupled to the motor. The motor controller is configured to receive an indication of a characteristic of a workout on the actuator, wherein the workout comprises a next exercise movement, determine a suggested weight for the next exercise movement, based at least in part on a physiological analysis of the workout characteristic, and control torque of the motor for the next exercise movement, based at least in part on the suggested weight.
Weight bar level attachment
A level attachment having a cylindrical tubing with a first half and a second half is capable of being removably secured about a weight lifting bar. A first embodiment employs a magnetic attachment means and second embodiment employs a clasping means. Within the first half is disposed a spirit level.
Multifunctional mobile exercise device for the upper extremity
A multifunctional mobile exercise apparatus and method for exercising the upper extremities is disclosed. The apparatus includes a base, an elongate shaft pivotally coupled to the base, a plurality of ground lockable ground wheels supporting the base. The apparatus includes a resistance clip that is selectively positionable along a length of the elongate shaft. A cylindrical sleeve may also be provided for sliding, with or without a resistance band, along the length of the elongate shaft. The mobile exercise apparatus provides single or bilateral hold for one or more resistance bands and the mobile arm. The resistance band and the mobile arm can be held by the injured or non-injured extremity. The elongate shaft and locks up to 8 feet high, and can also be used for the attachment jumbo resistance clips, or for the sliding exercises.
MULTI-PURPOSE FUNCTIONAL RUCK WEIGHT
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a multi-purpose functional ruck weight (FRW). The FRW includes a packing mode, a two-handed swinging mode, and a dumbbell mode. The FRW is a weight reflectively mirrored about a bisecting longitudinal axis. The weight includes a top and a bottom surface. The FRW includes a swing handle defined by a first aperture extending through the top and bottom surfaces. The weight may be carried in a rucksack against the user's body in a packing mode. The first aperture may be configured such that the first and second hand of the user, in a two-handed swinging mode, are spatially distributed and oriented along intersecting axes. The grip handle may be configured, in a dumbbell mode, such that the user's first hand is inserted through the second and third aperture to grip the grip handle at the center of the FRW.
PORTABLE AND VARIABLE EXERCISE DEVICE
The apparatus provides an exercise device that is portable, versatile, and enables the user to match the resistance of the device with the normal physiologic length-tension relationship of skeletal muscle. The device adds resistance in the form of cartridges that are stackable to summate resistance and can connect to a variety of attachments for use with arms, legs, or trunk, i.e., handle, bar, loop, etc. Given the device’s portability, it can be used freestyle or mounted to various surfaces.
Adjustable push-up apparatus
An exercise apparatus for performing push-up type exercises includes an elongate planar surface with at least one transverse slot and a pair of handles movably carried in the transverse slot. The pair of handles are adapted for gripping by a user during performance of the push-up type exercise. The handles are interconnected by a resistance band for providing a selected resistance to resist a laterally outward displacement of the pair of handles during a push-up. A pair of adjustable legs support the apparatus in inclined orientation and a declined orientation, relative to a supporting ground surface. The legs may be attached by a pivot and are movable between a stowed position and an upright supporting position.
FITNESS DEVICE
A fitness device comprises a force applicator comprising: a base; a first fixed wheel comprising a first center pivotally fixed to the base, and configured to allow rotation of the first fixed wheel about the first center; a second fixed wheel comprising a second center pivotally fixed to the base, and configured to allow rotation of the second fixed wheel about the second center, wherein the second fixed wheel is substantially in line with the first fixed wheel; and a movable wheel positioned above and between the first fixed wheel and the second fixed wheel, and comprising a movable center configured to move either toward, or away from, the first fixed wheel and the second fixed wheel, and is configured to allow rotation of the movable wheel about the movable center; an elastic element, placed between the nut and the fixing element, and a rope configured to be accommodated in the force applicator. Additional embodiments of the fitness device are disclosed herein.
