MODULAR HOME GYM
A modular home gym can include a platform with one or more holes that mate with one or more mating portions of attachable and removable exercise attachments. A variety of exercise attachments can be connected to the platform in a variety of configurations. Other embodiments are described.
Lat pulldown fitness device
A lat pulldown fitness device includes a base, a magnetorheological fluid (MRF) resistance provider, a motor, a gear train, pulleys, a cable assembly, a pulldown bar and a controller. The MRF resistance provider and the motor provide a resistance functioning as a load weight of pulling down the pulldown bar. The controller controls a current input to the MRF resistance provider to change the strength of the resistance generated from the MRF resistance provider. During a workout, the resistance provided by the lat pulldown fitness device is changeable precisely, conveniently, and quickly. Unlike its conventional counterparts which require bumper plates for use as weights, the lat pulldown fitness device is not limited to weight adjustment based on unit bumper plate but features plenty choices and controllable resolution in terms of strength of training. The MRF resistance provider is more compact and lightweight than its conventional counterparts.
Exercise machine
The present invention relates to an exercise machine that has all the functionality of a standing, bulky, multifunctional exercise machine, but can be mounted on a door frame so that it can quickly and conveniently change from full exercise functionality to full doorway functionality without any removal or disassembly of any components.
WORKOUT DEVICES AND METHODS
A workout device that has an arcuate body having first and second ends, and one or more attachment points extending through the body, each attachment point for releasably attaching a load and for releasably attaching an anchor to suspend the workout device.
Modular fitness device
A modular fitness device includes a fitness equipment and a receiving box. The fitness equipment has a power demand side. The receiving box is disposed at one side of the fitness equipment. A counterweight is disposed in the receiving box. The counterweight is connected to the power demand side via at least one follower. At least one connecting member is disposed between the fitness equipment and the receiving box. The receiving box is formed as a module disposed at one side of the fitness equipment. The production and assembly convenience of the modular fitness device is improved.
MULTI-PURPOSE ADJUSTABLE-INCLINE CLIMBING WALL
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an adjustable-incline climbing wall. The climbing wall comprises one or more climbing panels supported by a frame and a system for adjusting the incline of the frame to provide a climbing wall of a desired incline. The incline of the climbing wall may be adjusted by activating an actuator, which extends the upper portion of the frame a distance from a support wall, tilting the climbing wall to a desired incline. When the climbing wall is substantially vertically oriented, the system for adjusting the incline of the climbing wall may extend only a small distance from the support wall so that the adjustable-incline climbing wall has a relatively small footprint. In some embodiments, the climbing wall may also comprise one or more fitness accessories that can brought to an optimal height for a particular user through adjustment of the climbing wall incline.
EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A VEHICLE
A vehicular exercise system includes an exercise monitoring apparatus configured to communicate with a vehicle including one or more internal structures including at least one seat and a steering wheel. The at least one exercise monitoring apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to detect one or more exercise activities performed at the one or more internal structures and actuate the vehicle based on the one or more detected exercise activities. The processing circuitry is further configured to monitor one or more physiological parameters of the one or more detected exercise activities, determine a recommendation regarding future exercise activities based on the one or more physiological parameters, and output one or more notifications corresponding to the one or more physiological parameters and the determined recommendation.
Foldable Exercise Device
A foldable exercise device with a chin-up exercise apparatus and a dip exercise apparatus suspendable from the chin-up exercise apparatus. The chin-up exercise apparatus has a top horizontal member and a bottom horizontal member connected by two connecting members. Each connecting member has a door header hook and a parallel chin-up handle that rotate on the connecting member from a flat configuration to an exercise configuration. In the exercise configuration the chin-up exercise apparatus can engage a door frame. In the exercise configuration the parallel chin-up handles can be used for neutral chin-ups. The dip exercise apparatus has two vertical members spaced apart by a horizontal connecting member. The vertical members have a bottom end with a bottom grip. The bottom grip can be rotated from a flat configuration to an exercise configuration. In the exercise configuration the bottom grips can be used to do dip exercises.
Exercise rack
An exercise apparatus configurable in a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration is provided. The exercise apparatus includes: a horizontal upper support structure comprising a pair of vertical sleeves at opposing ends of the upper support structure; first and second inserts receivable in a corresponding one of the vertical sleeves; and first and second leg assemblies coupled to a corresponding one of the first and second inserts. A bottom contact surface of each of the first and second inserts angles upwardly laterally outward, and wherein a top contact surface of each of the first and second leg assemblies is level, whereby when the exercise apparatus is in the expanded position respective top contact surfaces of the first and second leg assemblies abut corresponding bottom contact surfaces of the first and second inserts, whereby the first and second leg assemblies splay laterally outward.
