Assisted chin/dip exercise apparatus with adjustable chin-up/pull-up handles
An assisted chin/dip exercise apparatus has a main frame and an assist or foot bar pivotally mounted on the frame and linked to a weight stack or resistance for assisting a user standing on the foot bar during performance of chin and dip exercises. The main frame has a first, overhead handle assembly and a second, dip handle assembly below the first handle assembly. The first handle assembly includes a pair of adjustably mounted handles freely pivotable between a first, chin-up position in which the handles extend towards one another at a rearward angle with a small spacing between the handles and a second, pull-up position in which the handles extend in a forward direction and are spaced apart by a larger spacing sufficient to provide head clearance for a user stepping onto the foot bar or while performing a dip exercise.
Low-profile rolling exercise device underlying and supporting user's foot while doing body exercise
A rolling exercise device includes a support body having a lower body portion forming four spaced apart recessed corners having respective recesses open from below and around the exterior of the corners, an upper body portion forming four interconnected corner segments overlying the four recessed corners, and a concave cavity recessed in the upper and lower body portions from a top opening defined by a continuous interior rim of the upper body portion to an interior concave bottom wall surface of the lower body portion. The device also includes mounting seats supported in the recesses of the recessed corners and rollers rotatably mounted in the mounting seats and extending below the lower body portion so as to adapt the support body to be freely rolled across a surface supporting the rolling exercise device with at least a portion of a foot of a user extending into the concave cavity.
Strength training apparatus with flywheel and related methods
Embodiments of a strength training apparatus and related methods are provided. In one embodiment, a strength training apparatus may include a base member, a tower structure, a first arm, a second arm, a flywheel, a cable and pulley system, a torque sensor, and a console. The cable and pulley system may be configured to effect rotation of the flywheel. The torque sensor may be configured to measure torque applied to the flywheel during the rotation of the flywheel. The console may include an output device. The console may further be in communication with the torque sensor. The console may further be configured to calculate an amount of work expended by a user based at least in part on the measured torque. The output device may be configured to provide an indication of the calculated amount of work expended by the user.
Multi-purpose exercise device
A multi-purpose exercise device is provided. The exercise device includes an upright frame having a first support member and a second support member configured to support the exercise device in an upright and freestanding position, a first crossbar, a second crossbar, and a third crossbar oriented on the frame such that the crossbars conjunctively enable a user to perform push-ups, step-ups, and crunches with the same exercise device, a first support arm and a second support arm for facilitating wide-grip push-ups, a fourth crossbar including a bracket configured to engage the bottom rail of a door in order to secure and stabilize the exercise device to the door for performing exercises requiring the exercise bar to be fixed in place, and a height adjustment member disposed on the support members configured to extend vertically therefrom in order to adjust the height of the support members.
Apparatuses for performing pull- or push-type manual exercises
An exercise apparatus is for push- or pull-type manual exercises and comprises an axially elongated bar having a free end and a transverse bore located proximate to the free end. A ball is coupled to the free end. A base connector transversely extends into the transverse bore. A fastener fastens the ball to the base connector to thereby couple the ball to the free end.
Multi-axial pivoting anchor
A modular kit of parts creates structures to store and suspend equipment used for physical fitness. A structure can be created that can store fitness equipment such as exercise balls, dumb bells, kettle bells and the like. Further, the structure can incorporate exercise bars, and can store and deploy such equipment as suspension straps, punching bags, heavy bags, yoga straps, which are suspended from multi axial pivoting anchors that afford no frictional resistance when the equipment is utilized for exercise.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL EXERCISE DEVICE
A multifunctional exercise device is described. The multifunctional exercise device has multiple configurations where the user can perform different exercises by simply adjusting the angle of the bench to utilize both the user's bodyweight and gravity as the resistance.
Squat rack for group fitness classes
A squat rack for group fitness exercises specifically designed for storability and mobility. Storability is achieved by making one of the edges narrower than the other allowing one unit to fit in another. Mobility is achieved through two small wheels placed on one edge and a set of handles on the opposite edge. The rack is to be used in group classes in gyms, health clubs and other sport venues.
Multipurpose exercise device
A multipurpose exercise device including a frame and a panel. The frame includes a plurality of legs, and a support assembly that secures the legs in a vertical position, or allows the legs to freely rotate to allow the frame to fold flat. The support assembly includes an adjustment mechanism to adjust a distance between the legs. A panel is detachably securable to the frame in a flat or inclined position.
Collapsible gym equipment
A portable bodyweight exercise device collapses into a neat and compact folded state. The device is simple to use, relatively inexpensive, and is self-contained and useful in virtually any environment and without need of other materials or conditions. The primary functionalities stem from the device's provision of an elevated weight-bearing anchorage from which to suspend all or part of one's weight, either by direct contact or through connecting equipment such as webbing straps. This allows for a variety of exercises to be performed for every major part of the body and can obviate use of expensive larger home gym equipment or commercial gym membership. In addition to muscle development, the device is favorable to other health and fitness purposes such as physiotherapeutic and palliative care.
