Motor-driven variable weight exercise device with modular chassis body
The invention herein relates to a variable weight exercise machine comprising a motor driven carriage assembly that moves along a linear path creating a variable resistant force against which the user exerts an opposite force. The chassis body and frame of said device may be positioned horizontally or vertically, and having a design that can be modularly configured in coordination with accessory elements to achieve a variety of concentric or eccentric exercise movements.
Portable pushup grips
The present invention is described as one set containing a pair of pushup grips. Each grip includes a longitudinal hand support connected to two separate base supports. Each base support has a spring-loaded connection mechanism for rotation between a compact storage position and an active engaged position. The base supports are identical configurations, with a channel through the top of the length for the storage position, a channel through the top of the width for the active position, with a dampening tread covering the bottom of each base support. The longitudinal hand support optionally includes padding for added hand comfort and ring connectors on each end cap to attach to a resistance band.
Exercise wrist aid
An exercise device characterized by a wide hand surface (1) positioned at a downward angle with a design that allows the user to grip the underside (3) for greater stability and to position the hands in any direction necessary to perform exercises with reduced strain on the wrists and palms. The large surface area of the hand surface comfortably fits an adult palm to eliminate painful pressure points in the palm. The downward angle of the hand surface decreases the angle between the back of the hand and the forearm found in a traditional push-up position to eliminate strain associated with exercises like push-ups, planks, mountain climbers and even chest dips. The ability to grip the underside of the hand surface provides additional stability during exercise.
Physical therapy system
A versatile physical therapy system for aiding in pelvic alignment, shoulder support and isometric exercise features a support body, comprising: a support body face, a support body back, a support body front, a support body back, a support body left side, and a support body right side, a left notch, and a right notch. The support body front may feature a first hook and loop component; and the support body back may feature a second hook and loop component. The system may feature a support strap having means to secure the support strap to the support body when in place on a user. The support strap holds the support body in place when the user compresses the support body and permits the user to engage in outward isometric exercise while holding the support body in place.
FITNESS DEVICE WITH CURVED SLIDING OR ROLLING SURFACE COVERING FOREARMS
An exercise device is provided for use in connection with at least one bodyweight exercise. The device has a grip handle and a forearm support at substantially a perpendicular arrangement with the grip handle, allowing a user to grasp the grip handle and simultaneously place a forearm into the device. A curved finger shield region covers the grip handle and a curved forearm region covers the forearm support. The curved finger shield region and the curved forearm region form a contiguous curved surface with a substantially perpendicular transition between the two, such that a user grasping the grip handle and simultaneously resting their forearm on the forearm region, can support at least a portion of their body weight on either one of the curved finger shield regions or the curved forearm region.
PROTECTIVE ROWING DEVICE
A protective rowing device for compression of the abdomen is provided that comprises a brace and U-shaped support member that may connect to a rowing machine seat and rail.
Modular activity board
An apparatus for receiving one or more activity attachments including a deck having one or more openings along a long axis of the deck and between the top surface and the bottom surface of the deck. Each of the one or more openings having a circular aperture for receiving an accessory of a set of accessories. Each accessory of the set of accessories providing an activity for a user of the activity. Each accessory having an attachment platform configured to attach the accessory to the board. The attachment platform having a locking mechanism to engaging with a complementary locking mechanism of the board.
Strength training and exercise platform
An exercise device includes a base defining an inner volume and a top supported by the base, the top defining an aperture. The exercise device further includes a force sensor configured to measure force on the top and a motor disposed within the base and below the top, the motor including a cable extendable through the aperture. The exercise device further includes a controller communicatively coupled to each of the force sensor and the motor. The controller is adapted to actuate the motor in response to forces applied to the top as measured by the force sensor. The controller may also actuate the motor in response to one or more additional parameters related to the speed or force with which the cable is manipulated (e.g., pulled by a user).
ABDOMINAL EXERCISE DEVICE
An abdominal exercise device includes a frame comprising top, middle, and bottom frame sections. The middle frame section has a curved shape for creating a teeter-totter movement during exercise. The device includes a headrest connected to the bottom frame section, a plurality of connectors for connecting elastic bands to the frame, and an elastic band connected to at least two connectors. The two ends of the elastic band are connected to two straps. The device creates the teeter-totter movement to exercise the abdominal muscles in response to a person lying down in supine position with the back of the head on the headrest and the feet in the two straps, the person applying a downward pressure with the feet to the straps to move the headrest from a resting position, and the person removing the downward pressure to allow the headrest to go back to the resting position.
Plank exercise assistance apparatus
A plank exercise assistance apparatus including a body having a base and slidable coaster mounted underneath the base are disclosed herein. The body includes a receptacle adapted to receive a foot of a user therein. The body further includes a heel stop extending upwards from the body to help secure the foot of the user. Additionally, the body includes a leg support adapted to provide support to the leg of a user as they are using the plank exercise assistance apparatus. The user sets their foot into the receptacle and they are then free to exercise in a manner that is effective, efficient and safe. The user is then able to slide the apparatus with their foot therein to complete variations of the plank exercise. Thereby allowing a user to exercise their abdomen, backs, shoulder, arms and legs with the various exercises they complete.
