PUSH-UP BAR SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD
Disclosed is an exercise device for use during an exercise regimen including a push-up exercise. The exercise device for use in a push-up exercise includes a plurality of bar assemblies, a base assembly, a plurality of sensors electrically coupled to a processor, and a transmitter in communication with a memory. The bar assembly comprises a handle configured to be grasped by a user. The rear frame further defines a protrusion configured to be received by a plurality of recesses on the base assembly. The plurality of sensors are configured to sense data responsive to a motion performed by the user. The processor is configured to determine a quality assessment of a performance of the push-up exercise. The memory is configured to store the sensed data and the assessment.
ADBOMINAL AND CORE EXERCISER DEVICE
According to various embodiments, there is provided a plank exercise device including a support portion adapted to receive arms or hands of a person and adapted to receive a display device, a destabilizer connected to the support portion, and a stationary base adapted to hold the destabilizer.
Multifunctional Exercise Apparatus
A multifunctional exercise apparatus allows a user to perform a variety of exercises by using the multifunctional exercise apparatus as a pushup bar, a step platform, or a kettlebell. The multifunction exercise apparatus includes a base platform, a left handle, and a right handle. The base platform is used as a structure base to arrange and connect the other components together. The left handle allows the user's left hand to grasp the multifunctional exercise apparatus, while the right handle allows the user's right hand to grasp the multifunctional exercise apparatus
PIVOTING/TILTING MULTIFUNCTIONAL COLLAPSIBLE FITNESS SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED SOFTWARE
A multifunctional fitness system may allow for high-resistance exercises through the distribution of weight upon a frame pivoting on the ground. In particular implementations, while a user lifts one end of the frame, the opposite end pivots. The weight of another person (and/or that of conventional weighted plates) can be placed on the frame in locations yielding the desired leverage and, thus, resistance felt by the lifter. The frame may have various axes upon which it can pivot and grip points, thus offering a broad range of exercises that can be conducted. Reorienting the frame to be resting on differing sides results in additional feasible exercises. Optional integrated electronics (typically in conjunction with existing smart devices) may use kinematics and/or structural flexing to calculate felt resistance and provide automated instruction to the various users. The may also collapse into a compact, rollable configuration for easy transport.
Exercise device
A solid exercise device is disclosed made from an egg-shaped body that includes first handles on both ends of the egg-shaped body, and second handles recessed within the solid body. One side of the egg-shaped solid body is made flat to prevent the solid body from rolling. The exercise device can be used with one or both hands. When the flat side of the egg-shaped body is adjacent a solid surface, such as the floor, the exercise device can be used as an aid for performing push-ups. The device is particularly well adapted for use in small spaces.
Systems and methods for coordinating musculoskeletal and cardiovascular or cerebrovascular hemodynamics
Described herein are methods for determining a target musculoskeletal activity cycle (MSKC) to cardiac cycle (CC) timing relationship. The method may include detecting a signal responsive to a cyclically-varying arterial blood flow at a location on a head of a user; providing a recurrent prompt at a frequency of the heart pump cycle using the signal, such that the signal correlates with a magnitude of blood flow adjacent to the location, and the recurrent prompt is provided to guide the user to time performance of a component of a rhythmic musculoskeletal activity with the recurrent prompt; and guiding the user to adjust a timing of the component of the rhythmic musculoskeletal activity to substantially maximize a magnitude of the signal. In some embodiments, the method further includes generating the recurrent prompt by amplifying the sound generated by the blood flow in or in proximity to an ear of the user.
Exercise device for suspended body weight training
A pulley system of an exercise device for suspended weight training includes a first block with a first pulley, a second pulley, and a first attachment point. A second block is removably coupled to a weight and includes a third pulley and a second attachment point. A grip is configured to be held by a user while exercising and has a third attachment point. A line having a first line end is fixedly coupled to the grip and a second line end fixedly is coupled to a connection element. The connection element is configured to be selectively coupled to each of the first attachment point, the second attachment point, and the third attachment point, permits a user to reduce an effective amount of the weight lifted by the user with movement of the grip to a pre-selected fraction of the weight.
Multifunctional curved board
A multi-functional curved board to be used when working in standing position and for working when sitting down as a support for feet and generally for maintaining muscle strength, the multi-functional curved board having at least one curved body (1). The body (1) comprises at least one counter-curve means (3). One surface (1b) of the body is curved outwards and the counter-curve means are fastened to a surface (1a) opposite this surface (1a) adjacent the end sides (1d) of the body (1) and the counter-curve means are curved outwards from the opposite surface of the body (1).
Full Body Workout Device
The present invention relates generally to the field of exercise equipment. More specifically, the present invention relates to an improved full body workout device that is designed to allow a user to exercise every muscle in the body. The device is comprised of at least two pairs of weighted sliders for the hands and feet of a user, wherein each slider is comprised of a track ball that allows each slider to slide along a surface such as the ground. Each slider is further comprised of a plurality of controls to allow a user to lock the track ball in place to make each slider immobile, and may also be comprised of a control that allows a user to select the intensity of the exercise being performed with the device.
Self-contained transformable balance board
A transformable balance board that may be alternately used as a balance board or wobble platform and a wheeled board or roller platform. The balance board includes a rigid platform preferably covered with a closed-cell yielding foam pad layer on top on which a user can support his or her weight. When used as a wobble platform, a relatively large central fulcrum member extends down from the rigid platform so that the board wobbles with no stable horizontal position. In a second usage configuration as a wheeled board or roller platform a plurality of sturdy wheels or rollers retracted into the underside of the rigid platform are extended vertically downward from their retracted positions. Because the vertical height of the wheels is greater than the vertical height of the fulcrum member below the rigid platform, the wheels make contact with the ground and the fulcrum is lifted up and out of contact with the floor below.
