EXERCISE MACHINE WITH MOVABLE USER SUPPORT
An exercise machine with a two directional pivoting user support assembly has a user support or platform which supports the user and pivots about a first pivot axis during an exercise movement, and is also pivotable about at least one second pivot axis to involve the user's core muscles in balancing and maintaining the user support in a stable position. A manually operable locking device with a simple flip switch lever is provided for selectively locking the user support against rotation about the second pivot axis, so that the user can easily chose whether to perform the exercise with a stable support or to add a level of difficulty by using the unstable seat mode and exercising core muscles during the exercise.
Exercising apparatus
An apparatus is disclosed for enabling an operator to exercise comprising a frame having a body, a base and a top. A load is positioned on the frame for providing a resistive force. A press is positioned on the frame for displacement by the operator. A linkage joins the load with the press for displacing the load upon displacement of the press by the operator. An arm extends between a support end and a user end. A support pivot secures the support end of the arm to the top of the frame for pivoting the arm about the frame. A user interlace inputs and outputs data. A user pivot securing the user interface to the user end of the arm for pivoting the user interface about the arm.
GYM CAGE
An exercise apparatus has at least one vertical wall structure, a floor and a ceiling forming a cage that can be square, rectangular, circular, oval or another suitable configuration. An arrangement of strategically placed attachment points on the wall structure, floor and ceiling enables easy attachment and detachment of a variety of resistance devices (e.g., a handheld and/or inline cable operated resistance creation device, or a stretch band resistance device) to any of the vertical and/or horizontal structures within the gym cage, thereby providing a nearly 360 degree dimensional point of resistance to perform a wide variety of exercises for different muscle groups and subgroups of the body. In one embodiment, the cage includes an arrangement of spaced apart vertical and horizontal frame members forming a rear wall and opposite side walls.
Exercise machine having elastic exercise resistance cables
There is provided an exercise machine. The machine includes an upright mounting assembly having a top and a bottom spaced-apart from the top. The machine includes a seat operatively connected to the mounting assembly. The machine includes a first pair of space-apart pulley assemblies rotatably mounted adjacent to the top of the mounting assembly. The machine includes a second pair of spaced-apart pulley assemblies rotatably mounted adjacent to the bottom of the mounting assembly. The machine includes a plurality of exercise resistance cables connected at proximal end portions to the mounting assembly and extending around and outward from the pulley assemblies.
SHOULDER STRENGTHENING SYSTEMS
Shoulder strengthening systems can provide multidirectional and dynamic resistance to shoulder movement of a user. A shoulder strengthening system can include a frame, a joint pivotably coupled to the frame, a resistance mechanism coupled to the joint, and a shaft coupled to the joint. Resistance mechanisms can include a first hydraulic member and a second hydraulic member. The first hydraulic member can be configured to restrict relative motion of the joint about a first axis and the second hydraulic member can be configured to restrict relative motion of the joint about a second axis. The shaft and the joint of a shoulder strengthening system can be configured to move together relative to the frame about the first and second axes.
Exercise machine for movable user support
An exercise machine with a two directional pivoting user support assembly has a user support or platform which supports the user and pivots about a first pivot axis during an exercise movement, and is also pivotable about at least one second pivot axis to involve the user's core muscles in balancing and maintaining the user support in a stable position. A manually operable locking device with a simple flip switch lever is provided for selectively locking the user support against rotation about the second pivot axis, so that the user can easily chose whether to perform the exercise with a stable support or to add a level of difficulty by using the unstable seat mode and exercising core muscles during the exercise.
Exercise Apparatus, Methods Of Using, And Method Of Manufacture
An exerciser and an elastic band. The exerciser includes first and second arms, a connector, and at least one elastic band. The first arm has a first body portion and first and second ends extending from the first body portion. The first body portion includes a first elongate slot and a first hinge portion disposed on opposite sides of the first body portion. The exerciser includes a second arm having a second body portion and first and second ends extending from the second body portion. The second body portion includes a second elongate slot and a second hinge portion disposed on opposite sides of the second body portion. The exerciser includes a connector rotatably coupling the first and second hinge portions of the respective first and second arms. The exerciser includes at least one elastic band formed as a continuous loop and disposed within the first and second elongate slots.

Multi-purpose exercise bench with versatile resistance accessory
A multi-purpose exercise bench having a versatile resistance accessory configurable for use to provide weight-training resistance in a variety of exercises is provided. The multi-purpose exercise bench comprises: an elongated frame configured to rest on a flat floor in a stable manner; a lower seat portion supported on the frame; the resistance accessory mounted to the frame, the resistance accessory comprising: a pad movably mounted to the frame to be movable between a first position and a second position; a locking mechanism operable to lock the pad in either of the first position and the second position; and a plurality of resistance bands attached to the pad. A multi-purpose exercise system includes the multi-purpose exercise bench and an exercise bar defining at least one groove dimensioned to receive at least one receiver ring attached to at least one of the resistance bands.
