Jewelry display case
A display case that includes a base for supporting an item that is being displayed; a cover engaged with the base, with the base forming an interior compartment for the item and having respective opened and closed positions relative to the base; a light source disposed in the interior compartment, supported at an internal surface of said cover and, when illuminated, casting a light beam on the item to highlight the item; and a sensor associated with at least one of the base and cover and for activating the light source. The sensor may include a motion detector, a light detector, a touch sensor or a proximity sensor.
HANDBAG WITH ADJUSTABLE CLOSURE FLAPS
This document describes a handbag that includes: a bag-shaped body that defines an opening for receiving personal items; a handle for carrying the handbag, the handle being attached to the body; and a first and second flap each attached to the body along opposing edges of the opening, wherein the first and second flaps can be secured in a first position, in which the flaps overlap one another to substantially close the opening of the body, and in a second position, in which each flap extends away from the opening, along a side of the body.
Illuminating device
An illumination device that is operable while being transported and that can be placed, or is placed, in an object that can be opened and closed again. The illumination device comprises a first light source, an electric energy storage device, and a switch device that comprises a control unit including a sensor unit with which a first switching unit is transferable from an open switching state into a closed switching state. The first light source is suppliable with electric power from the electric energy storage device when a first sensor is touched and/or when said first sensor detects a motion. The sensor unit comprises a second sensor that at least detects if the object is open or closed. A second switching unit is transferable from an open switching state into a closed switching state in which the first light source and/or a second light source is/are supplied with electric power.

Cooler with secondary lid
A cooler with a modular light bar having multiple LEDs and a secondary lid is disclosed herein. The LEDs are preferably automatically activated by a switch positioned in the cooler. When the lid is in an open state, the switch completes a circuit from a battery to the LEDs of the modular light bar thereby allowing the LEDs to illuminate the entire interior chamber of the cooler.
SMART LUGGAGE SYSTEMS
Smart luggage systems are disclosed. A smart luggage system includes a luggage bag including one or more wheels, one or more processors, one or more memory modules, one or more wheel actuators, one or more GPS units, and machine readable instructions stored in the one or more memory modules. When executed by the one or more processors, the machine readable instructions cause the smart luggage system to determine a location of a user, determine a location of the luggage bag based on an output signal from the one or more GPS units, and actuate the one or more wheel actuators to move the luggage bag based on the location of the user and the location of the luggage bag.
Light Emitting System
A light emitting system includes a bag that may contain items. A lighting unit is coupled to the bag and the lighting unit selectively illuminates the items thereby facilitating the items to be retrieved from the bag. The lighting unit is touch sensitive such that the lighting unit turns on when the lighting unit is touched. The lighting unit has a pair of intersecting arms such that the lighting unit has a cruciform shape.
Novelty bag
In one embodiment of the invention, a novelty bag is provided that includes at least one panel connected to a bottom panel, and least one handle connected to the panel. There is at least one orifice in the at least one panel, and the orifice is adapted to receive a lighting element. A pouch is also connected to the panel, and a light module and a sound module are disposed within the pouch. The pouch includes at least one slit adapted to allow sound to travel through the pouch. An activation mechanism is disposed within the at least one handle, and the activation mechanism is in electrical communication with the light module and the sound module.
