A golf club head includes a club body having a crown opposite a sole, a toe end opposite a heel end, a back end, and a hosel. The golf club head also includes an adjustable weighting system positioned on the club body, the adjustable weighting system includes a single channel and a member that is received by the single channel and fastened to the club body, where a plurality of weights are coupled to the member. The golf club head can additionally or alternatively include a face angle adjustment system positioned on the sole, the face angle adjustment system includes a member that is removably received by the single channel and fastened to the sole, the member includes a first end member and a second end member, wherein the member is configured to be repositioned within the channel to adjust a resting face angle of the golf club head.

GOLF CLUB HEAD

Disclosed herein is a golf club head comprising at least one crown opening and at least one crown insert attached to the body and covering the at least one crown opening. The golf club head further comprises at least one sole opening and at least one sole insert attached to the body and covering the at least one sole opening. The golf club head additionally includes at least one weight member configured to clamp first and second ledges at selected locations along a sliding weight track. The golf club head also comprise a coefficient of restitution (COR) feature located on the sole of the golf club head. The at least one crown insert is formed from a composite material having a density between 1 g/cc and 2 g/cc. The at least one sole insert is formed from a composite material having a density between 1 g/cc and 2 g/cc.

Examples of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a body portion of a golf club head may have a front portion with a face portion for impacting a golf ball, a rear portion, a toe portion, a heel portion, a top portion, and a sole portion. A cavity may be located at the top portion and extends downward into the body portion. A through-hole may be located at the front portion and feeds into the cavity. A hosel portion may have an insert portion with a fastener port. The insert portion may be received inside the cavity such that the fastener port interfaces with the through-hole. A fastener may be received in the through-hole and engaged to the fastener port, thereby securing the hosel portion to the body portion. Other examples may be described and claimed.

A golf club head including a crown defining the top surface of the club head and including a crown portion, a crown recess region formed in the crown portion and defined by a crown ledge and a bonding wall, and a crown insert disposed at least partially within the crown recess region. The size and uniformity of the junction between the crown insert and the bonding wall may be determined by measuring the dimensions of the junction at critical points on the club head.

In one embodiment, the lie adaptor is inserted into the hosel of a putter, and then secured to both the shaft and putter head. In another embodiment, the lie adaptor has a cavity in its upper portion into which the shaft fits. In either case, the lie adaptor can be made with a variety of angle adjustments possible, such that a golf shop or even an individual golfer can quickly, accurately, and economically adjust the putter lie.
