Spinal Alignment System and Method
A method of use and a spinal alignment system that comprises a wedge-shaped cushioning device with a plurality of attachment points, a thoracic member that is detachably attached to the wedge-shaped cushioning device and resilient members.
PROCUMBENT EXERCISE APPARATUS
An exercise apparatus having a stationary frame, a handlebar assembly, a frontal-torso assembly, a resistance assembly, a rotatable crankset having a pair of crankarms with pedals mounted thereon where the crankset is positioned rearward of the handlebar assembly and the frontal-torso assembly.
Core exercise device
An exercise device includes a body engagement portion and a ground engagement portion. The body engagement portion is capable of supporting a user. The body engagement portion includes a base surface capable of supporting the user in a standard plank position. The ground engagement portion includes an arched contact surface that allows the user to rotate between a first side plank position, the standard plank position, and a second side plank position relative to a support surface while the arched contact surface remains in contact with the support surface and the body engagement portion supports the user.
Hamstring exercise device and method of using same
A hamstring exercise device is provided that allows a user to apply variable resistance to the hamstring muscles during exercise. The hamstring exercise device has a user sled, upon which a user may rest, slidably mounted on an angulation slide. The angulation slide is pivotably adjustable to varying degrees of inclination or declination relative to the horizontal. The user's body weight, resistance of the sled toward moving and an optional biasing means all contribute to an adjustable degree of exercise difficulty.
Apparatus and method for knee flexor assessment
An apparatus for use in assessing strength of at least one knee flexor muscle of a subject, the apparatus including a support, two securing members, each securing member securing a respective lower leg of the subject in a position that in use is substantially fixed relative to the support and at least one sensor, which in use senses a force indicative of the strength of the at least one knee flexor muscle in at least one leg of the subject while the subject performs an eccentric contraction of the at least one knee flexor muscle.
APPARATUS FOR THE ANALYSIS AND MEASUREMENT OF MAXIMUM AND EXPOLSIVE STRENGTH OF LOWER EXTREMITY MUSCLES
The subject invention is intended for the use of measuring maximum and explosive muscle strength of lower extremities in various positions whereby depending on the position, the strength of individual muscle groups is measured. The apparatus consists of a basic casing (1), a mechanism for securing fastening which consists of a fixator (2) and belt (3), a mechanism for the angular movement of braces and for fastening (4) upon which braces (5) move and are fastened in a desired position, and a pair of braces with a sensor and lining (6), which are fastened and move in the mechanism for the angular movement of the braces (4), whereby linear movement of the braces (5) and angular rotation of the braces (5) are possible in each mechanism for the angular movement of the braces (4) at any angle, preferably at an angle of 90.
Exercise device
An exercise apparatus comprises a base frame including a base frame connector. A movable frame including a movable frame connector is provided, and the movable frame connector is connected to the base frame connector such that the movable frame is rotatable relative to the base frame. An actuator is located between the base frame and the movable frame, and the actuator moves the movable frame relative to the base frame about the base frame connector so as to position the movable frame relative to the base frame in a selected position.
Exercise Apparatus
A piece of exercise equipment particularly for improved strength training exercises. More particularly, the invention relates to equipment that allows the user to vary tension when performing different exercises. The present invention is specifically designed for improved exercise through the variability of a tension component for use in such exercises as the plank exercise, sit-ups, push-ups and supine pull-ups that includes a core support, a guide arm, a head support, and a foot support that work in conjunction to most optimally support the user. The core support, the head support and the foot support are all connected, supported, and elevated from the floor by a central support system.
Exercise device
An exercise device having a unique asymmetrical shape with rounded ends of differing radii to provide stability and added resistance.
