A hair styling device (1) comprises a hinge jaw assembly (10) including a first jaw (11) having a first plate (12) and a second jaw (13) having a second plate (14). In an opened position of the jaw assembly (10), hair can be received between the plates (12, 14), and in a closed position of the jaw assembly (10), hair can be hair styled between the plates (12, 14). The hair styling device (1) further comprises a heater arrangement (20) configured to heat at least one of the plates (12, 14), and a hair wetness control mechanism (30) configured to supply a mist of liquid between the plates (12, 14) in the closed position of the jaw assembly (10), wherein the hair wetness control mechanism (30) includes a two-fluid nozzle (31), and an air pump (33) and a liquid tank (35) connected to respective inlets of the two-fluid nozzle (31). Preferably, the hair wetness control mechanism (30) is arranged to suck liquid from the tank (35) as a result from a flow of air that is generated by the air pump (33), without a need for a separate pump to obtain a flow of the liquid in the two-fluid nozzle (31).

The invention relates to a cosmetic refill (20) intended to be inserted in a removable manner into a housing (22) in a device (2) for treating the hair and to the associated treatment device (2). The invention relates to a refill (20) for a device for treating the hair, comprising a body (23) having a cavity (30) that is formed at least partially by two opposite walls (34, 36; 38, 40) and a bottom and opens towards the outside by way of an opening (31), and an applicator member that is inserted into the cavity (30) in the body (23) along an insertion axis and extends out of the cavity (30) through the opening (31). At least one of the walls (34, 36; 38, 40) and the bottom comprises at least one coupling relief (32) that engages with the applicator member in order to prevent it from being extracted from the cavity (30), this coupling relief (32) being designed such that the force for inserting the applicator member into the cavity is weaker than the extraction force.

The invention relates to a cosmetic product refill for a device for treating hair, which includes at least one heating element, the cosmetic product refill including a rib or groove for fastening the refill to the device and a cosmetic product applicator element in the form of a sheet, such that the rib or groove is designed to fasten the cosmetic product refill to the device for treating the hair in such a way that a part of the cosmetic product refill is offset laterally with respect to the heating element(s), and such that at least one portion of the applicator element is designed to extend next to the heating element(s). The present invention relates to a cosmetic hair treatment method comprising at least the steps consisting of: a) applying a mechanical tension to said hair, b) exposing said hair under mechanical tension to microwaves, in the presence of a solvent in vapor form in contact with said hair, without complete drying of the hair during microwave exposure, the solvent in vapor form being entirely generated by the evaporation of a compound which is present, before emission of the microwaves, in contact with the treated hair.
