Game utilizing magnetic forces
The present invention is a game that relies on the interactions of magnetic fields to test the skills of a player or players, and more specifically a game device which relies upon the characteristic of magnets in which like poles between two magnets form a mutual field of repulsion whereas opposing poles of the same magnets form a field of attraction.
BOOMERANG, XRAY CHESS VARIANTS
A new device and method for playing chess called the Boomerang chess is proposed in this invention. In boomerang chess, one or more pieces have boomerang powers, which is the Ability to capture an opponent piece (which is at a target square, reachable by the striking piece in a regular chess game), and return back to the its starting square in the same move! In one variant, the range of the boomerang can be limited. For example, the boomerang range of the bishop maybe limited to 4 squares etc. Other chess variants like Xray chess, Pool chess, magnetic chess etc. are also proposed in this invention.
Nesting Chess Set
A nesting chess set with two teams of chess pieces. Each team includes one king, one queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, and eight pawns. The pieces of each team are configured such that they can be organized into two nests, each nest comprising eight pieces, wherein the only difference between the two nests is that one has the king and one has the queen, while otherwise each nest has a rook, a bishop, a knight, and four pawns. The queen is the outside piece of one nest. The king is the outside piece of the other nest. The rest of the pieces are sized and shaped to nest within the king or queen. Each nest is held together by a magnetic base.
Game having personalized game pieces with selectively removable magnetized pieces and accessories
A board game includes a game metric and a game piece. The game piece is usable within the game metric. The game piece includes a game piece body, and a plurality of interchangeable components that are selectively and magnetically coupled to the game piece body. The game can further include a first magnet that is coupled to the game piece body, and a second magnet that is coupled to one of the plurality of interchangeable components. The magnets can be positioned relative to one another such that the first magnet selectively engages the second magnet so that the one of the plurality of interchangeable components can be selectively and magnetically coupled to the game piece body.
Customizable playing cards with interchangeable components
A customizable playing card having: a plurality of connectable surfaces, wherein each surface is capable of being removably adhered to each other surface via static electricity; a first card component having: a front first card component face; and a back first card component face; and a second card component that joins with the first card component via the static electricity; the second card component having: a front second card component face; and a back second card component face; wherein the first card component connects to the second card component such that the front first component face is the front card face; and such that the front second component face is opposite to the front first component face and is the back card face.
Magnetic playing cards with interchangeable components
A magnetized playing card having: a first component; and a second component that joins with the first component to form the magnetized playing card; the first component having: a front first component face; a back first component face; wherein at least a first section of the back first component surface is a magnetized surface; the magnetized surface having: a plurality of magnetic poles comprising north poles and south poles; wherein the north poles and the south poles are in parallel with each other, and the north poles alternate with the south poles in an alternating formation; and wherein the alternating formation faces a first direction to create a first magnetic alignment; the second component having: a front second component face; a back second component face; wherein the second component joins with the first component via the back first component face and the back second component face.
DOMINO APPARATUS
A game piece assembly includes: a front surface formed in a first predetermined shape and including a predetermined number of pips, a back surface formed in a second predetermined shape, a side surface extending between the front and back surfaces, wherein the front surface, the back surface and the side surface define a hollow space that is configured to hold a prize therein in a closed configuration.
UNIVERSAL, UNIFIED CHESS BOARD AND PICTORIAL, SCULPTURAL CHESS PIECES, FOR KOREAN, CHINESE, AND WESTERN CHESS GAMES
The Game is designed in the metaphor of the High-Walled Medieval City of Citadel, and Casbah, that is still thriving in Morocco. The Medieval City hardly changed. The vibrant ancient culture, is especially evident in the vast indoor market. So wide and complex, the indoor market is, people get lost, and cannot find the exit from central area. Game Board emulates the ancient city layout. The Board Grid system is overlaid on the Grid system of ancient Board game, Go in Japanese or Baduk, in Korean. Because, Citadel game board overlays on Go Grid system, there are milliard of games can be played. Citadel and Casbah games are rich in variation of Game plays. The design deliberately allows the user to introduce their own play rules, and optional game plays. That is part of this Board game's interesting feature. Board games are usually designed to challenge playing ability of players. This game incorporates, Chance games by rolling of two dice. Two numbers obtained are used to move Board pieces. Player's ability to make tactical moves of pieces, are delicately balanced with Chance games, by design, and play rules. Rich array of optional plays, can adjust player's skills, to be able to play with less skilled, or young children to play with much more skilled, older players. In Non-capture mode, pieces are not captured and removed from the board, as in Chinese Checkers. The Inventor introduced Piggyback methods, to prevent opponent's deliberate obstructing act of not moving his pieces promptly.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR A BOARD GAME
A game apparatus including a plurality of first and second player game pieces, each having a first portion that is a chess piece, such that the plurality of first and second player game pieces include all the pieces for a first and second player, respectively for a game of chess. Each of the plurality of first and second player game pieces has a second portion fixed to a corresponding first portion. Each second portion has a recess so that a cube can be inserted into the recess so the cube cannot be seen from a front of the second portion. The game apparatus may further include a base; a grid; and a first and/or second plurality of insert pieces. The grid and the base form a chessboard pattern of a plurality of grid spaces. Each of the insert pieces fits within a space of the plurality of grid spaces.
