A puzzle kit and a puzzle constructed from said puzzle kit. The puzzle kit comprises a three dimensional substrate having an outer surface, and a plurality of puzzle pieces that cannot interlock. Each puzzle piece has a first surface and an opposite second surface and a thickness defined between the first and second surfaces. Each puzzle piece comprises first attachment means and the outer surface of the substrate defines a plurality of complementary second attachment means, such that the first attachment means and the second attachment means magnetically attach each puzzle piece to the outer surface. The first attachment means comprises a projection extending from the second surface of the puzzle piece. The second attachment means comprises a hole to partly receive the projection.

A globe can include a plurality of pieces structured to inter-attach to form a surface of the globe, and an attachment system. Each piece can be substantially rigid, and can have an outer major surface shaped to form a portion of the surface of the globe. The plurality of pieces can include a first quantity of substantially identically-shaped polygonal pieces. The attachment system can be configured to attach at least some adjacent edges of the pieces, and can attach at least one edge of each of the pieces to an adjacent edge of another of the pieces. The attachment system can be configured such that the globe has sufficient structural integrity to substantially maintain a globular shape under its own weight. Each of a majority of the pieces can include a printed image on its outer major surface that is different than any printed image of any other piece.

Puzzle kits include a first puzzle and a second puzzle, each of which is formed of a plurality of polyhedral modules, or polyhedrons, connected by hinges in a continuous loop. Each polyhedron includes four faces, six edges, and at least one magnet disposed adjacent to at least one face. Magnetically stabilized assemblies of the first puzzle and the second puzzle form at least a convex polyhedrons, such as a cube.

A national-flags jigsaw puzzle globe and its jigsaw puzzle structure are provided. The globe includes a supporting frame and a rotatable cube structure connected thereof. Each surface plate of the cube structure includes a plurality of installing holes for the puzzle pieces. Each puzzle piece has a national flag picture to represent the country. The country's information, such as the country's name, may be displayed on the surface plates near to the installing hole. The backside of the puzzle piece has a protruding structure with unique profile, and the sidewall of the installing holes has the corresponding profile. Therefore, the puzzle piece only can be fitted to the corresponding installing hole. Thus, the relationship of the country's information and the national flag picture is enhanced with an entertaining and informative manner.

A three-dimensional object for use as a puzzle, has a plurality of faces, each face having a locations and numbers at each location. Some of the numbers are replaceably removable, remaining numbers being fixed, and a predetermined rule links all of said numbers on the different faces to enable correct replacement of the removed numbers to solve said puzzle.

A three-dimensional puzzle. The puzzle includes a topmost puzzle layer having a marking disposed on an upper side thereof, a lowermost puzzle layer having a marking disposed on a lower side thereof, and a middle puzzle layer with a marking disposed on a sidewall thereof, wherein the layers are stacked to form a three-dimensional shape. Each layer has a plurality of puzzle pieces that are connectable to adjacent puzzle pieces via a magnetic retaining element. The markings are only disposed on surfaces of the layers that form an exterior of the assembled three-dimensional shape, wherein each side of the puzzle includes a completed pictorial display.
