SIMULATION SYSTEM, PROCESSING METHOD, AND INFORMATION STORAGE MEDIUM
20190244416 · 2019-08-08 · ·

A simulation system includes a processor including hardware. The processor performs: a virtual space setting process of setting a virtual space in which a plurality of objects are arranged; a virtual camera control process of controlling a virtual camera corresponding to a point-of-view of a user wearing a head mounted display; and a display process of generating an image as viewed from the virtual camera in the virtual space as a display image on the head mounted display. In the virtual space setting process, the processor arranges at least one information display object in a line-of-sight direction of the user, and in the display process, when it is determined that a given change condition is satisfied by a change in the point-of-view of the user, the processor performs a change process of a display mode of the information display object.

POSITION-DEPENDENT GAMING, 3-D CONTROLLER, AND HANDHELD AS A REMOTE

Methods and systems for using a position of a mobile device with an integrated display as an input to a video game or other presentation are presented. Embodiments include rendering an avatar on a mobile device such that it appears to overlay a competing user in the real world. Using the mobile device's position, view direction, and the other user's mobile device position, an avatar (or vehicle, etc.) is depicted at an apparently inertially stabilized location of the other user's mobile device or body. Some embodiments may estimate the other user's head and body positions and angles and reflect them in the avatar's gestures.

A method of providing a virtual space. The method includes defining a virtual space by a processor. The method further includes displaying a field of view of the virtual space on a head mounted display device. The method further includes detecting, by the processor, a motion of the user wearing the head mounted display device. The method further includes determining, by the processor, a flying direction for an object in the virtual space in response to the detected motion. The method further includes flying, by the processor, the object within the virtual space in accordance with the flying direction. The method further includes moving, by the processor, the field of view in the flying direction.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING DISPLAY OF RESOURCE IN ANIMATION, AND TERMINAL

A method, apparatus, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for display processing are provided. A projection trajectory of a projectile to a target is calculated. The projectile is moved to the target when the calculated projection trajectory satisfies a shooting condition. A current viewpoint is switched to a viewpoint from the projectile, and a first animation in which the projectile is tracked is played in slow motion. The viewpoint from the projectile is then switched to a viewpoint from the target at a preset time prior to when the projectile hits the target. A second animation is subsequently played in which the target is hit by the projectile.

An exemplary information processing apparatus arranges, in a virtual three-dimensional space, first to fourth objects, a first connection object connecting the first object and the second object, and a second connection object connecting the third object and the fourth object. The information processing apparatus controls actions of the first object and the second object, with restriction being imposed on movements of the first object and the second object based on the first connection object. Further, the information processing apparatus controls actions of the third object and the fourth object, with restriction being imposed on movements of the third object and the fourth object based on the second connection object. A virtual camera is arranged in the virtual three-dimensional space such that at least one of the third object and the fourth object is included in a field-of-view range of the virtual camera.
