LOOP CONNECTION SYSTEM
20180141372 · 2018-05-24 ·

A system and method for an amusement construction system offering simple, safe, and efficient features and solutions unavailable in any other amusement construction system. An anchor body supports one or more extensions, each extension may include one or more semi-flexible loops. The loops are semi-flexible in that they may be deformed to pass through another semi-flexible loop while springingly returning to the undeformed state which is rigid enough to maintain a desired level of coupling. A decoupling strength is related to how easily the semi-flexible loops deform sufficiently to pass through a loop to which it is coupled.

Method, apparatus, and system for toy building block(s) with chain reaction trigger

The disclosed embodiments are for a method, apparatus, and system for toy building blocks with chain reaction trigger. The blocks are configured to be coupled together in order to build structures with the blocks. The blocks house a trigger mechanism system that when triggered will then actively trigger the adjacent block's trigger mechanism system. Thus, the blocks will disconnect and/or break away from each other in a chain reaction or sequenced manner.

Modular building system

A modular building system includes pluralities of regular and short plates and beams, and a plurality of sticks, all of which include symmetrically and equidistantly positioned holes and pins, such that the plates, beams, and sticks are detachably connectable to form construction assemblies. Also disclosed are related reinforced construction members, block-based construction members, and a threaded tubular rivet that includes holes for pins and accepts a screw for securing plates with a bracket and the screw.

Mechanical snap connector assembly

A connector assembly includes a first component having a slot and an indentation and a second component having a hook and a protrusion. The hook is configured to engage with the slot by being inserted into the slot and being translated with respect to the slot. The protrusion is configured to at least partially depress as the hook is inserted into the slot and engage with the indentation when the hook is positioned to engage with the slot. The hook and the slot, when engaged, resist separation of the second component from the first component. The protrusion and the indentation, when engaged, resist disengagement of the hook from the slot.

ASSEMBLY TOY

In the present invention, a toy block for an assembly toy has a first flat surface and a second flat surface at both ends. Formed on the first flat surface are male parts that project vertically and female parts that are vertically indented. Formed on the second flat surface are a male part that vertically projects, and female parts that are vertically indented. When two toy blocks are linked together, the male parts of one block fit into the female parts of other toy block, and the male part of the other toy block fits into a female part of the other toy block. This allows the linking surfaces of the toy blocks having the male parts and female parts to link to each other at a variety of angles. The toy blocks rotate relative to each other when linked together.

CONSTRUCTION TOY SET OF CONNECTABLE AND POSITIONABLE ELEMENTS
20180056207 · 2018-03-01 · ·

A construction toy set with multiple construction elements, the construction elements having a generally wafer shaped element body with one or more internal receiver passages extending through the element body, the receiver passages having one or more receiver tracks extending laterally across the receiver passage, the element body having one or more element keys protruding laterally from the element body, element key dimensioning providing for insertion of an element key of a first construction element in a receiver track of a second construction element and for slidable mating of the element key of the first construction element with the receiver track of the second construction element.

TOY CONSTRUCTION ELEMENT WITH MOVING MEMBER
20180043275 · 2018-02-15 ·

Embodiments provide a toy construction element having an outer shell and moving members that can extend from and retract into openings in a face of the outer shell. The toy construction element may have a plurality of pegs for attaching to other engagement elements (e.g., blocks or figurines) and the openings may each be centered with respect to a 22 arrangement of pegs on the face. The moving members may be in contact with an actuating member, e.g., opposing arms of a rocking member. As one moving member is pushed down the rocking member may lift the other moving member. Upon attaching an engagement element to the toy construction element, one moving member can be pushed down to force up the other moving member so that the engagement element is released. Other actuating members may be used, such as push-rods or camshafts.

BUILDING BLOCK FOR A CONSTRUCTION TOY SET
20240399269 · 2024-12-05 ·

The invention relates to a building block (2) for a construction toy set, comprising a base body (12) extending in a longitudinal direction (6), in a transverse direction (8) transverse to the longitudinal direction (6) and in a vertical direction (10) transverse to the longitudinal direction (6) and transverse to the transverse direction (8), which is penetrated in the vertical direction (10) by a passage opening (14) and from which a first axle element (16) projects in the longitudinal direction (6) and a second axle element (18) projects in the transverse direction (8), characterized in that the base body (12) is formed from two subcomponents (4) which each hold an axle element (16, 18), wherein each subcomponent (4) comprises a connecting surface (16) for abutment against the connecting surface (16) of the corresponding other subcomponent (4), and wherein a male positive-locking element (18) projects from the connecting surface (16) of one subcomponent (4) and, in the assembled state of the base body (12), is inserted into a corresponding female positive-locking element (20) which is molded into the connecting surface (16) of the other subcomponent (4).

SNAP-LOCK CONSTRUCTION TOY
20170209801 · 2017-07-27 ·

A snap-lock toy has a body and a pair of cantilevered receptor wings extending between the first and second ends of the body. The cantilevered receptor wings are cantilevered from a leverage point near the first end and extend toward the second end. A first female receptor associated with the first end has a first snap diameter defined between the pair of cantilevered wings. A second female receptor has a second snap diameter defined between the pair of cantilevered wings, where the second diameter differs from the first diameter. First and second predetermined moments associated with the first and second female receptors are defined based on a predetermined insertion force associated with an insertion of a male snap-lock connector into the respective first and second female receptors. An octagonal male feature extend from the first end of the body, and a generally square feature extending into the second end of the body.
