A lawn mower capable of securing desired durability as well as suppressing a weight increase is provided. When prong portions on the periphery of a bottom disk are elastically deformed inward due to an external force applied thereto, the prong portions abut a cutting disk, so that the received external force is transferred to the cutting disk (that is, the external force is partially received by the cutting disk), and the displacement of the prong portions is restricted by the presence of the cutting disk.

Cutting Mechanism for a Lawnmower and/or a Motor Scythe, Lawnmower and/or Motor Scythe and Method for Assembling a Cutting Mechanism and/or a Lawnmower and/or a Motor Scythe

A cutting mechanism for a lawnmower and/or a motor scythe has at least one tool device, a tool connecting device, and a securing device. The tool device is designed for cutting grass. The tool connecting device is designed for rotation around a cutting mechanism rotation axis of the cutting mechanism. The tool connecting device and the tool device are designed to form a positive connection to one another in order to secure the positively connected tool device against being released from the tool connecting device radially in a radial direction with respect to the cutting mechanism rotation axis. The securing device and the tool connecting device are designed to be at least partially adjustable relative to one another in, or counter to, an at least partial radial direction at least section-by-section between an enable position for enabling production and/or release of the positive connection and a securing position for securing the positive connection against release.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OPERATING A ROBOTIC MACHINE IN AN AUTONOMOUS MODE AND A MANUAL MODE

Apparatus, systems, and methods for operating an autonomous vehicle. In some embodiments, the vehicle can include a mower having a cutting deck. The deck can include an upper wall and downwardly extending sidewalls forming a cutting chamber. The vehicle may include a cutting blade assembly contained within the cutting chamber. A distance between the cutting blade assembly and a trim edge of the mower deck can be changed.

QUICK CHANGE BLADE FOR A ROTATING BLADE ASSEMBLY OF A MOWER IMPLEMENT
20230397529 · 2023-12-14 ·

A blade for a rotating blade assembly for a mower implement is positioned between a disc and a spring plate. The blade includes a body defining a pin aperture. A retaining pin includes a shaft portion that defines a shaft diameter and extends through the pin aperture of the blade. The retaining pin is engaged with a mounting aperture of the disc and a pocket of the spring plate. The body of the blade includes a radially inner edge relative to a rotation axis of the disc. The body defines a tail length between the pin aperture and the radial inner edge. The tail length is equal to or greater than seventy five percent of the shaft diameter of the shaft portion of the retaining pin and/or the pin aperture of the blade. The pin aperture of the blade is less than 105% the shaft diameter of the retaining pin.

A robotic lawnmower comprises a blade carrier (200) and a cutting blade (400) pivotally connected thereto, the blade comprising a substantially flat cutting portion (401) extending along a cutting portion plane (410), a blade carrier interface (404), and an offset portion (406) interconnecting the cutting portion (401) and the blade carrier interface (404). When operating the robotic lawnmower, the blade carrier interface (404) of the cutting blade (400) follows a circular path in a blade carrier interface rotation plane (415), and the cutting portion (401) follows a circular path in a cutting plane (402), offset from the blade carrier interface rotation plane N (415) by a cutting plane offset distance (408).

A lawn mower and a cutter housing assembly can include a cutter housing, a first and second rotation arms, and first and second plates pivotably attached to the cutter housing. The first plate and second plate can be selectively rotatable between: (a) a discharge mode in which the plates are positioned a first distance from the front wall of the cutter housing to provide a first gap, and (b) a mulch mode in which the plates are positioned a second distance greater than the first distance from the front wall to provide a decreased gap. A first actuator and second actuator can be connected to the first and second rotation arms to cause rotation of the first and second rotation arms when actuated. Actuation of the first actuator and second actuator can cause the first plate and second plate to move between the discharge mode and the mulch mode.
