Rotary cutter systems and methods
A cutter assembly has a crossbar, cutter blades, and blade pins. The crossbar defines bar openings. Each cutter blade defines a blade bolt opening and first and second blade edges. The blade pins are each adapted to be inserted through one of the bar openings and one of the blade bolt openings such that the head portions of the blade pins are within one of blade recesses of the cutter blades. Bolt key surfaces of the blade pins engage bar key surfaces of the crossbar to prevent rotation of the blade pins relative to the crossbar. The cutter blades are each operable in first and second configurations, where the first blade edges are in a leading position in the first configuration and the second blade edges are in a leading position in the second configuration.
Cutting Blade for a Robotic Work Tool
A cutting blade (100) adapted to be carried by a tool holder (20) provided in a robotic work tool (10), the cutting blade (100) comprising a blade body (110) and a cutting edge (120, 121) extending along at least a portion of the periphery (111) of the blade body (110), and a slit (113) arranged to receive a pin (30) for attaching the cutting blade (100) to said tool holder (20), wherein the cutting blade (100) is movable such that the pin (30) may be displaced within the slit (113). The hardness of the cutting blade (100) decreases in direction from the cutting edge (120, 121) towards the center (125) of the blade body (110) such that the hardness of the cutting edge (120, 121) is higher than the hardness of at least a center portion (126) of the blade body (110). The present disclosure also relates to a method for manufacturing a cutting blade.
Blade Assembly for a Grass Cutting Mobile Robot
A grass cutting mobile robot includes a body and a blade assembly connected to the body and rotatable about a drive axis. The blade assembly includes blades, a housing to hold the blades, and a spring that connects the blade to the housing. The housing includes a slot in which to mount a blade so that a portion of the blade is movable through the slot towards another blade in response to an impact. The slot slopes upwards in the housing towards the body, thereby enabling the blade to move upwards relative to a ground surface toward the body in response to the impact. The spring is for constraining movement of the blade relative to the housing.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING A FLAIL MOWER
A method and apparatus for attaching a forward-mounted implement that may allow pivotal movement of the implement around a longitudinal axis to better maintain proper operational height when operating on uneven or sloped terrain. Further provided, the attachment mechanism of the present disclosure may allow for a secure and safe attachment to an associated tractor or other similar vehicle while simultaneously providing for a reduced production cost and less maintenance requirements.
Cutter Head for a Brush Cutter
A cutter head for a brush cutter has a base body with top base body part and bottom base body part. A screw element is arranged at the bottom base body part for attachment to an output shaft of the brush cutter. A receptacle for fastening a cutting tool is provided between top and bottom base body parts. The base body is rotatably driven in operation of the brush cutter about an axis of rotation of the base body. The top and bottom base body parts are held together by a detachable snap-on connection. The snap-on connection is positioned at a distance, measured in a radial direction, from the axis of rotation of the base body. The distance amounts to at most 40% of the cutter head diameter. For releasing the snap-on connection, the top and bottom base body parts are pulled apart from each other by a pulling force.
Cutting blade piece protective structure, blade guard and lawn mower
A cutting blade piece protective structure that prevents an obstacle from coming into direct contact with a blade portion of a cutting blade piece, saving light weight, saving a replacement cost at the time of breakage, and inhibiting lawn mowing performance by the cutting blade piece, is provided, and the lawn mower that includes the blade disk to be rotationally driven and at least one cutting blade piece attached to the outer peripheral portion of the blade disk, a blade guard for preventing an obstacle from coming into contact with the blade portion of the cutting blade piece is provided on the cutting blade piece. Preferably, the blade guard is attachable to and detachable from the cutting blade piece.
Blade for a Mowing Unit for a Lawnmower and/or a Motor Scythe, Mowing Unit for a Lawnmower and/or a Motor Scythe, and Lawnmower and/or Motor Scythe
A blade for a mowing unit for a lawnmower and/or a motor scythe is substantially parallelogram-shaped. The blade has a slot, wherein the slot is designed to receive a blade-holding element of the mowing unit such that the blade can rotate about the blade-holding element and move in translation relative to the blade-holding element for one cutting position of the blade defined by one end of the slot having one cutting orientation of the blade and another cutting position of the blade defined by another end of the slot having another cutting orientation of the blade. A line segment delimited by the ends of the slot does run non-parallel to sides of the parallelogram, and the parallelogram has an obtuse internal angle.
ROTARY MOWER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF ATTACHING A KNIFE TO A MOWER DISC THEREOF
A mower disc includes a body having an elongated slot. A retention block includes a pocket defining a radially outer portion and a radially inner portion. The retention block includes a cover portion covering the radially outer portion of the pocket and the elongated slot. A pin passes through the elongated slot and is moveable within the elongated slot along a radially extending path between the radially outer portion and the radially inner portion of the pocket. When the pin is disposed in the radially outer portion, the cover portion of the retention block covers the pin to prevent withdrawal of the pin from the elongated slot. When the pin is disposed in the radially inner portion, the pin may be removed from the elongated slot through an access opening. A knife is positioned adjacent the lower surface of the body and is coupled to the pin.
Flex wing mower
A mowing machine may include a central cutting deck generally disposed in a neutral mowing plane and a wing cutting deck pivotable with respect to the central cutting deck. A main gearbox may be connected to a wing gearbox by a wing driveline. The main gearbox may be disposed a sufficient distance forward of the central cutting deck and the wing cutting deck to permit the wing cutting deck to pivot about a hinge in a range of motion without disconnecting the wing driveline from either the main gearbox or the wing gearbox.
Working part structure of lawnmower
A working part (13) of a lawnmower (10) includes a disk (20) rotatably supported by a main body of the lawnmower and configured to be rotated by a power source (15), a blade (36) having a base end portion (46) rotatably attached to an outer peripheral part of the disk via a pivot shaft (32) and a free end portion (47) configured to protrude radially outward from an outer peripheral edge of the disk, and a blade guard (37) having a base end portion (51) rotatably supported by the pivot shaft and a free end portion (52) overlying the free end portion of the blade.
