Device for treating the hair, comprising a seal
A device for treating hair, including two arms configured to move relative to one another between a moved-together configuration for treating the hair and a spaced-apart configuration for inserting hair to be treated between the arms. At least one of the arms includes a seal.
PROCESS FOR TREATING HAIR FIBRES
Process for treating hair fibres, comprising: (i) combing said fibres, (ii) applying vapour to said fibres, the flow rate of vapour applied being strictly less than 1 g/min, (iii) hair shaping, by heat treatment without vapour, of the hair fibres by conduction and/or by radiation, steps (ii) and (iii) being separate.

Hair brush
A hair brush adapted to impart both a straightening effect and a curling effect on a length of hair includes first and second members. The first member includes a first handle and a first brush head having an inner row of centrally disposed primary teeth, an outer row of bristles mounted on each side of the centrally disposed primary teeth, and a thermal conductive element. The thermal conductive element defines an arcuate surface configured for imparting a curl within a lock of hair. The second member includes a second handle, a second brush head having a second head frame defining a longitudinal channel, and an elongate member having a wiper segment disposed on each side of the longitudinal channel, and configured to engage the length of hair to facilitate one of straightening of the length of hair or removing substances from the length of hair.
Hair Styling Device
A hair styling device for styling curly or wavy hair. The hair styling device includes a body and a plurality of tines extending from a proximate end of the body, wherein each of the plurality of tines have a same length as measured from a proximal end to an opposing distal end of a tine. The tines are rigid and non-flexible to facilitate the manipulation and styling of curly hair. In some embodiments, the tines are angled such that the proximal end of the tine extends from a first side of the body and the distal end of the tine is disposed on a second side of the body, wherein the first side and second side are opposite one another. In other embodiments, the tines include an arcuate configuration. The configuration of the tines allows for various manipulation of hair to provide differently styled curls or wavy features.
MANIPULATION OF EYELASHES TO REDUCE TEAR EVAPORATION
A method of mitigating tear evaporation, including manipulating eyelashes to project more downwardly from an upper eyelid, or more upwardly from a lower eyelid or a combination both; and further manipulating at least one of spacing, orientation, direction, contour or shape of the eyelashes to enhance interference with airflow of the eyelashes between a tear film of the eye and an ambient atmosphere to be greater than the interference with airflow which exists because of the eyelashes in an unmanipulated state.

Styling hair dryer nozzle
A device which maintains exit temperature of hot air from a hair dryer passing through a nozzle attachment seated on the hair dryer. The hair dryer heats air and blows it out of an opening, with the nozzle attachment seated on the hair dryer opening. The nozzle attachment channels the heated air from the hair dryer opening to and out of a narrowed slotted opening in the nozzle attachment. The device comprises a heat conductive element configured to be securely seated on an interior surface of the nozzle attachment at a position adjacent the narrow slotted opening in the nozzle attachment without substantially impeding heated air from exiting the slotted opening. The heat conductive element is of sufficient dimensions to substantially maintain hot air exit temperature from the hair dryer opening as it exits the slotted opening of the nozzle attachment, without significant heating of the nozzle attachment.

Non-chemical smoothing and de-curling agents
The present disclosure relates to a multi-phase liquid agent for the non-chemical smoothing and de-curling of keratin fibers, in particular human hair, which has an aqueous-alcoholic phase and a non-aqueous phase existing separately therefrom and which can be applied as a spray, and a method for non-chemical smoothing or de-curling of keratin fibers using the agent.
