Process for treating keratin fibres with an oxidised polysaccharide and a sphingosine compound
The invention relates to a process for treating keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, comprising: (i) a step of applying an oxidized polysaccharide, (ii) a step of heating to a temperature of at least 100 C., (iii) a step of applying a compound (I) R.sub.iCHOHCH(NHCOY)(CH.sub.2OH) (I). The invention also relates to a cosmetic composition comprising an oxidized polysaccharide and a compound (I) for which YH and to kits. The process makes it possible to obtain good hair-conditioning cosmetic properties, with a long-lasting effect.

Mini brake for hair color placement foils and its method of use
A hair folding and creasing brake device for creating pre-folded and creased triangular hair foils for dimensional hair color placement has a hinged sheet which is hinged so that foil sheets placed on its surface can be clamped and then bent to form a crease in the foil. A hair coloring foil is prepared by placing a foil or a pack of foils onto the device which is then folded over the foil to clamp the foil and then then folded again to bend the foil to impart a crease to the foil.
Hair treatment method
A hair treatment method sets a hair style and/or its restyling comprising application of an anhydrous spray on wet hair. The method treats hair by applying a substantially anhydrous composition, comprising one or more polymers according to the general structure ##STR00001##
wherein A is a C2 to C6 alkylene group and n represents an average number of 5 to 1000 and p represents an average number of 5 to 100, onto wet hair.

KERATIN TREATMENT FORMULATIONS AND METHODS
Formulations, kits, and methods for rebuilding the disulfide bonds in keratin found in hair, skin, or nails. Hair that is damaged due to a hair coloring treatment and/or other reducing treatment, such as during a permanent wave, can be treated with the formulations containing one or more active agents. The formulations may be applied subsequent to a hair coloring treatment or simultaneously with a hair coloring treatment. Use of the active agent formulations during a permanent wave treatment prevents the reversion of the hair to its previous state, for at least one week, preferably at least three months, more preferably at least one year, most preferably greater than one year, after one or more than one application of the formulation. Application of the active agent formulation to skin or nails can help repair damaged disulfide bonds due to natural wear and tear or natural aging.
