PROCESS FOR RESHAPING KERATIN FIBERS
Processes and kits-of-parts reshape keratin fibers and comprise applying a composition onto keratin fibers and covering the keratin fibers, wherein the composition comprises ammonia and one or more ammonium salts. Additionally, the keratin fibers are put under tension using a curler along with covering the curler with a moisture barrier and heating the keratin fibers. As a result, long-lasting curl having cosmetic properties are achievable.

Hair treatment method
The present invention relates to a cosmetic hair treatment method comprising at least the steps consisting of: a) applying a mechanical tension to said hair, b) exposing said hair under mechanical tension to microwaves, in the presence of a solvent in vapor form in contact with said hair, without complete drying of the hair during microwave exposure, the solvent in vapor form being entirely generated by the evaporation of a compound which is present, before emission of the microwaves, in contact with the treated hair.

A LIGHT-BASED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SHAPING AND TREATING HAIR
System and methods for treating and shaping a keratin fiber are provided. A light-based system includes an activation system configured with one or more light source. The light source is configured to apply electromagnetic radiation at a target region including the keratin fiber. The light-based system applies the electromagnetic radiation to the target region to effectuate photocrosslinking with the assistance of a photosensitizer on the keratin fiber and transition the keratin fiber from a first physical state to a second physical state.
Compositions and methods for hair improvement
Hair improvement compositions comprising covalent conjugates of a polypeptide and a hydrophilic polymer, or a polysaccharide and a hydrophilic polymer, or both, are provided herein. Methods for improving one or more physical characteristics of hair using the described compositions are also provided. The improvements can be semi-permanent.
