Face mask and liner assembly, system, and methods

A facial barrier assembly includes a liner including distinct sheets and a barrier including distinct face masks. The face masks are removably coupled to the sheets. Common perforations extend through the liner and the barrier to define the distinct sheets and, in some cases, the distinct face masks. The liner and the barrier are arranged as roll or a fanfold.

ANNULAR UNIT FOR MOISTURE MANAGEMENT IN RESPIRATORY MASK
20210060364 · 2021-03-04 ·

Embodiments relate generally to absorbing elements in respiratory face masks. Applicants have developed a structure for respiratory masks that can both absorb moisture from the face (such as perspiration, as well as from condensed moisture in the breath), and maintain a low breath resistance (won't increase the breath resistance significantly). The structure may comprise an annular structure added to the respiratory masks for moisture management, wherein the annular structure comprises moisture absorbent materials. This structure may also be known as an absorbing element operable to absorb moisture effectively, provide a respiratory mask with improved moisture control characteristics, reduce fogging of a face shield or eyeglasses of the wearer, and reduce the amount of uncomfortable moisture buildup on the face of the wearer.

A facial mask includes a foam sealer that is attached at one or more sides of the mask. The foam sealer prevents air or breath from going upwards out of the mask, thereby preventing glasses from being fogged up during surgery. It also keeps air or materials from getting into the mask and prevents, to a degree, bodily fluids and unwanted odors from penetrating the mask than existing masks. The mask prevents unwanted distractions to the surgeon or other medical personnel. The mask also may prevent medical illnesses from the inhalation of air, the exposure to bodily fluids, or the transfer of gases. The foam sealer is comprised of open cell foam. The facial mask acts as a more complete barrier to odors and bodily fluids that may otherwise endanger both the user or other personnel.

Passive Nose Warming Apparatus and Safeguard

A self-adhering, moldable and yet semi-rigid safeguard for the nose that does not require straps or bands, which also simultaneously protects a person's nose from inclement weather.

The apparatus is made of low temperature moldable plastic enclosed between two layers of polychloroprene with a temporary adhesive applied to the back of the attachment so that it may adhere to a person's nose.

The low temperature moldable plastic provides further adherence to a person's nose with its ability to be custom form fitted to a person's exact nose shape because of the safeguard's ability to be molded at warm temperatures.

The low temperature molded plastic then cools to become more rigid offering further protection.

STRUTTING PIECE FOR MASKS
20210022417 · 2021-01-28 ·

The present invention provides a strutting piece for masks, comprising an approximately convex shell-like supporter and a sealing element. The supporter comprises a ring frame and a shell part connected to one side of ring frame. The shell part is apart from the mouth and nose at a proper distance, and its outside is covered with the mask. The sealing element is arranged outside the ring frame to contact the face tightly and maintain the leakproofness of wearing mask. Thereby, it can mantle the mouth and nose with its outside covered with a planar mask.

Perimeter seal for a face mask

A perimeter seal device is constructed in three layers to easily convert a non-sealed face mask to a face mask with a perimeter seal. The device has a top and bottom release liner, partitioned for providing the perimeter seal to an existing manufactured mask, with a double-sided adhesive layer in the middle formed with pressure-sensitive adhesive. A pre-cut perimeter portion of the adhesive layer provides the perimeter seal. The construction of the perimeter seal device allows alternate methods for fixing either side of the perimeter portion of the adhesive layer onto a face mask. The opposing side of the adhesive perimeter portion is adhered directly on a wearer's face. The device provides a way to convert a surgical or other non-sealed face mask to a sealed mask.

Mask structure

The present invention provides a mask structure, which comprises a first mask body, a main filtering layer, an air-isolator, and a second mask body. The main filtering layer is disposed at the first mask body. The area of the main filtering layer is smaller than the area of the first mask body. The air-isolator is disposed at the first mask body and adjacent to the periphery of the main filtering layer. The second mask body covers the main filtering layer and the air-isolator and is bonded with the air-isolator and the first mask body. Thereby, the bonding part of the mask structure can be tight and the filtering materials of the main filtering layer, such as sterilizing or adsorptive materials, will not leak from the bonding part. In addition, the air-isolator can guide the air inside and outside the mask structure to pass only through the main filtering layer for preventing the polluting particles, bacteria, or viruses inside and outside the mask structure from being propagated to the external environment or inhaled by the user.

Shower Face Shield II

A protective face mask comprising: an eye-protecting shield made essentially from a flexible plastic material, the eye-protecting shield being dimensioned to cover at least the eye portions of a human wearer, the eye-protecting shield having a perimeter defining a first surface facing the wearer's face, and a second surface facing away from the wearer's face; for providing a substantially watertight and releasable sealing engagement between at least a portion of the perimeter forming an upper edge of the face mask and at least a portion of the skin of the wearer's face, and the lower part of the perimeter of the mask is free from the wearer's skin, and wherein the mask extends along the contour of the wearer's face from the forehead to cheekbones and the lower perimeter thereof extends to the bridge of the nose provides a comfortable and flexible mask without the need for a strap or side bars, avoids pressure on the skin in the contact zone, allows free eye movement and airflow and minimizes the formation of dew. The mask is primarily adapted for providing a waterproof shield to allow a person who has recently done their make-up to shower and shampoo their hair while keeping their eye make-up in a clean dry condition.
