ZERO-WALL CLEARANCE LINKAGE MECHANISM FOR PROVIDING ADDITIONAL LAYOUT
A seating unit that includes a linkage mechanism adapted to adjust between closed, extended, and reclined positions is provided. The linkage mechanism includes a seat-mounting plate mounted to a footrest assembly, a back-mounting link and a rear bellcrank both rotatably coupled to the seat-mounting plate, an activator bar that controls a footrest drive link, and a linear actuator for carrying out automated adjustment of the linkage assembly. In operation, a stroke in a first phase of the linear actuator generates a torque on the activator bar. The footrest drive link converts the torque into a laterally-directed force that pushes the footrest assembly into the extended position. A stroke in the second phase acts to push the activator bar forward and translate the seat-mounting plate forward at a consistent inclination angle. The forward translation causes the rear bellcrank to rotate, thereby biasing the back-mounting link rearward into the reclined position.
RECLINING CHAIR
Furniture is described having an extendable footrest. The footrest has a main panel and a flipper panel. In an extended position of the footrest, the top surfaces of the panels are approximately horizontal and co-planar, the main panel being proximate to a seat portion of the furniture. In a retracted position of the footrest, the top surface of the main panel is approximately vertical and the top surface of the flipper panel is approximately horizontal and facing in a downward direction. The footrest projects substantially 20 or more from the front of the seat portion in the extended position, and substantially 7 or less is provided between the floor and the apparent bottom edge of the footrest when retracted.
WALL HUGGER RECLINER
A wall hugger recliner with zero space technology includes a frame for placing on a floor, a seat, a backrest, a foot support, and a foot support adjustment mechanism having a first mechanical rod assembly and a first actuator for deploying and retracting the foot support. A seat backrest adjustment mechanism includes a second mechanical rod assembly for adjusting the seat and the backrest with an upright basic position into a horizontal position, wherein the seat backrest adjustment mechanism has a second actuator for adjusting the seat and the backrest.
ELECTRIC RECLINING CHAIR WITH ANTI-PINCH PROTECTION
An electric reclining chair has a base, a linkage mechanism, a leg rest mount, and a control module. The linkage mechanism is movably mounted to the base and connected to a driver. The leg rest mount is pivotally connected to the linkage mechanism. The control module has a sensor module and a control unit. When the linkage mechanism and the leg rest mount are being folded by the driver, if an object is under the leg rest mount and abuts the leg rest mount, the leg rest mount pivots relative to the linkage mechanism, which is sensed by the sensor module. Thus, the control module controls the driver to stop folding the linkage mechanism or to unfold the linkage mechanism so as to prevent the object from being pinched.
ELECTRIC SEAT MECHANICAL EXTENSION DEVICE AND ELECTRIC SEAT
An electric seat mechanical extension device and an electric seat are provided. The electric seat mechanical extension device comprises two mechanical extending units which are bilaterally symmetrical with each other, each mechanical extending unit is composed of a seat frame support assembly, a leg assembly and a backrest bar, the two mechanical extending units are connected through a drive fixing assembly and a driving rod, a driving device is mounted on the drive fixing assembly, a head of the driving device is articulated with the driving rod, and the driving rod is connected with the leg assemblies; each seat frame support assembly is composed of a fixing rod and a transmission rod, the fixing rods are fixedly connected with the drive fixing assembly, front portions of the fixing rods are articulated with second leg links through second leg link and fixing rod articulation shafts.
RECLINING THEATER SEAT ON RISER STRUCTURE WITH INTEGRATED RECLINING SEAT MECHANISM
A recliner chair includes a mounting bracket configured to mount to a base. A seat portion and a back portion are attached at a frame that is pivotally attached at the mounting bracket. The frame is pivotable relative to the mounting bracket to move the seat portion and the back portion between a non-reclined position and a reclined position. An ottoman is pivotable relative to the base between a lowered position and a raised position. An actuator is operable to pivot the ottoman between the lowered position and the raised position and to pivot the frame to move the seat portion and the back portion between the non-reclined position and the reclined position. The actuator is disposed within a structure at a side of the recliner chair and outboard of the seat portion.
Seat Frame
A seat frame includes a base, a driving member and a stretching member. The driving member and the stretching member are disposed on the base. The stretching member includes backrest assemblies, cushion support assemblies and leg rest plate assemblies which are positioned on left and right sides of the base and set in pairs. A front end and a rear end of the cushion support assembly are hinged with one end of the backrest assembly and one end of the leg rest plate assembly respectively. When the seat frame is in a television (TV) posture and a lying posture, and the leg rest plate frame is inclined upward with respect to a horizontal plane.
MOVABLE SEAT WITH SWINGING DEVICE
A seating device with a swinging device is provided. The seating device includes a seat base, a seat, an ottoman, a backrest, and two moving linkages configured to move the seating device from a first position to a second position. Moreover, the seating device includes a swinging device configured to couple between the seat base and the two moving linkages, and drive the two moving linkages to swing relative to the seat base along a front and rear direction. The swinging device includes a swinging actuator; and an eccentric transmitter is configured to transmit a swing actuation torque to the two moving linkages, where the eccentric transmitter includes a crank and a transmission arm, the crank is configured to couple with the swinging actuator, and the transmission arm is configured to couple with the two moving linkage via a universal joint device.
ADJUSTING DEVICE FOR SEAT UNIT AND SEAT UNIT
Provided is an adjusting device for a seat unit, configured to switch the seat unit between a sitting position, a stretching position, and a lying position. The adjusting device includes a backrest connecting assembly, an intermediate transmission assembly, and a footrest connecting assembly that are connected in sequence. The backrest connecting assembly at least includes a backrest connecting block. The intermediate transmission assembly at least includes a seat frame and an adjusting mechanism configured to adjust the seat frame. The adjusting mechanism includes a first connecting member, the first connecting member is configured with a first hinge hole, a second hinge hole, and a third hinge hole in sequence, a distance between the first hinge hole and the third hinge hole is A1, a distance between the second hinge hole and the third hinge hole is A2, and a ratio of A2 to A1 is not greater than 0.5.
Powered chairs for public venues, assemblies for use in powered chairs, and components for use in assemblies for use in powered chairs
A remotely controlled powered chair may include a support frame, a seat pivotally mounted on the support frame, an rotary actuator mounted between the support frame and the seat to drive the seat to move relative to the support frame, a backrest pivotally mounted on the seat, and a linear actuator mounted between the seat and the backrest to drive the backrest to move relative to the seat. Thus, the rotary actuator may be controlled by an electrically control device to drive the seat to pivot relative to the support frame reciprocally in a pendulum manner so that the seat is pivoted relative to the support frame automatically. In addition, the linear actuator may be controlled by the electrically control device to adjust the inclined angle of the backrest so as to provide a comfortable sensation to the user. A remotely controlled powered chair may include a base assembly. A chair frame is supported on the base assembly. An actuator mechanism may communicate with the base assembly and the chair frame, and is operable to actuate the chair frame between first and second positions.
