The adjustment flexibility and the extending length of the footrest extension mechanism are increased.

ELDERLY CHAIR SUPPORT AND ELDERLY CHAIR

Provided are an elderly chair support and an elderly chair. A support assembly of the elderly chair support includes a support plate (41) and an anti-torsion tube (42) fixedly connected to the support plate (41); two ends of a first lifting rod (6) are pivoted to the support plate (41) and a base (1) respectively, and two ends of a second lifting rod (7) are pivoted to the support plate (41) and the base (1) respectively; and a first drive assembly is capable of driving a power rod (3) to rotate relative to the support plate (41) to have a first position and a second position, in the case where the power rod (3) is at the first position, a leg assembly (5) stretches and the anti-torsion tube (42) abuts against the base (1), in the case where the power rod (3) is at the second position, the leg assembly (5) retracts and the anti-torsion tube (42) has a first distance from the base (1), and in the case where the power rod (3) is at the second position, the first drive assembly is capable of driving the power rod (3) to drive the support plate (41) to move synchronously so that the support plate (41) has a second distance from the base (1). The elderly chair support and the elderly chair have high stability and are simple in structure.

SEAT BRACKET AND SEAT

A seat bracket includes a base mechanism, an electric motor, a transmission mechanism, and a telescopic mechanism, where the transmission mechanism includes a transmission piece, a transmission rod, and a link, the transmission piece and the transmission rod are rotatably connected through the link, the transmission piece is rotatably connected to the telescopic mechanism, the transmission rod is rotatably connected to the base mechanism, the electric motor, an output end of the electric motor is connected to the transmission rod, and the electric motor is configured to drive the transmission rod to cause the transmission rod to drive the transmission piece and the link to rotate so that the telescopic mechanism extends or retracts.

Furniture is described having an extendable footrest. The footrest has a main panel and a flipper panel. In an extended position of the footrest, the top surfaces of the panels are approximately horizontal and co-planar, the main panel being proximate to a seat portion of the furniture. In a retracted position of the footrest, the top surface of the main panel is approximately vertical and the top surface of the flipper panel is approximately horizontal and facing in a downward direction. The footrest projects substantially 20 or more from the front of the seat portion in the extended position, and substantially 7 or less is provided between the floor and the apparent bottom edge of the footrest when retracted.

RECLINER SEATING MECHANISM WITH SEAT EXTENSION
20190216221 · 2019-07-18 ·

A mechanism is provided for a seating unit that moves the seating unit between closed, TV, and fully reclined positions. The mechanism allows independent movement of a seat frame, relative to the chair arms and chair back to which the mechanism is mounted. The mechanism thus allows the seat depth of the chair to be adjusted relative to the chair back to accommodate the individual characteristics of the chair occupant.

Recliner or lift and recliner chair with variable lift profile

A recliner or lift and recliner chair is provided having a recline or lift and recline chair mechanism with preferably with at least one recline or lift-recline actuator that controls a reclining movement or a lifting and reclining movement. The chair mechanism has a recline or lift-recline base, a seat and a back connected thereto. For additional functionality, a cradle assembly is provided in order to provide a cradling movement to the recline or lift-recline base. The cradle assembly can be provided by a system of standoffs and pivot connections, which can be direct or use links, or can be configured with a track and roller or slide system in order to achieve a desired cradling movement. A cradle actuator is connected between the cradle base and the recline or lift-recline base. A controller is provided that controls movement of the cradle actuator and preferably at least one recline or lift-recline actuator.

CHAIR FRAME AND CHAIR

Provided are a chair frame and a chair. The chair frame supports a human waist and back by using a waist support assembly and supports human legs and feet by using a footstool assembly. Meanwhile, when the waist support assembly is unfolded, driven by a second support rod, a second end of a first support rod can swing toward the footstool assembly with a junction between a first end of the first support rod and the second support rod as a rotation center to increase an included angle between a waist support bracket and a seat cushion bracket, that is, increasing an unfolded angle of a backrest and achieving the zero gravity effect. The chair can improve the chair comfort by applying the preceding chair frame.

Linkage mechanism for hi-leg seating unit

A linkage mechanism provides motion capabilities for various chair types. For example, a linkage mechanism includes a combination of links that facilitate ottoman extension/closing and backrest recline/incline. In addition a linkage mechanism includes a compact design that is usable with hi-leg style chairs having a relatively low seat height.
