A seat convertible to a bed. The seat includes a locking mechanism for fixably maintaining a head panel section of the bed in a generally horizontal orientation when the bed is in the deployed configuration and releasing the head panel section from the deployed configuration by a lifting motion. The locking mechanism is connected to the head panel section and a mid-swinging member. The mid-swinging member pivotally attaches to the head panel section and a stationary mounting arm. The stationary mounting arm is fixably attached to a seat frame.

A recliner, comprising: (a) a stationary base frame; (b) a cushion frame slidably engaged to the base frame; and (c) a backrest frame pivotally engaged to the cushion frame via a pair of opposing recliner mechanisms mounted to the base frame, wherein, as the cushion frame extends in an extension direction, the cushion frame engages the pair of opposing recliner mechanisms so that the backrest frame pivots in a reclining direction simultaneously with the extension of the cushion frame.

A sofa bed includes a mattress frame, a back frame, two arm frames and two cross beams, two arm frames are connected by the two cross beams, wherein the mattress frame and the back frame are rotatably pivoted. The inner side of the arm frame is disposed with a linking mechanism. The linking mechanism has a front connecting piece, rear connecting piece and a bridge connecting piece. Two ends of the bridge connecting piece are respectively pivoted to the front connecting piece and the rear connecting piece. The bottom end of the front connecting piece is pivoted to the arm frame. Various implementations include a convertible swinging seat assembly. The assembly includes a seat and at least four suspenders. The seat includes four segments. A first end of a second segment is pivotably coupled to a second end of the first segment at a first joint. A first end of a third segment is pivotably coupled to a second end of the second segment at a second joint. A first end of a fourth segment is pivotably coupled to a second end of the third segment at a third joint. The first, second, and third joints are independently pivotable relative to each other. The suspenders each have a first suspender portion and a second suspender portion. The second suspender portion of each suspender is coupled to a different one of the first, second, third, and fourth segments.

A motorized furniture assembly having seat and back support sections moves between sofa and bed positions relative to a stationary frame by activation of two motorized drive assemblies. The motorized drive assemblies move seat support brackets of a seat section forward and backward relative to the stationary frame. Movement of the seat section moves a back support section between horizontal and raised positions. Two linkage assemblies control movement of the motorized furniture assembly between the sofa and bed positions upon actuation of said at least one actuator for activating the motorized drive assemblies.

A seating unit that includes a foldable bed includes: a base with an internal cavity; a foldable bed that includes separate and distinct head, intermediate and seat sections; and a bed folding mechanism. In a folded position, the intermediate and seat sections are generally horizontally disposed and positioned in vertically stacked relationship, and the head section is generally vertically disposed and positioned adjacent a rear portion of the base, with an outer surface of a cushion of the head section forming the rear surface of the seating unit, and in an unfolded position, the head, intermediate and seat sections are generally horizontally disposed and in serial alignment with each other. The bed folding mechanism is attached to the base and the head, intermediate and seat sections and controls the movement of the bed between the folded and unfolded positions.

An electrical mechanical stretching device of a movable sofa includes a mechanical stretching device and an electrical device, wherein the mechanical stretching device includes a third leg rod and a third connecting rod. The electrical device consists of a motor sliding block connecting pipe, a motor, a motor leg fixing pipe, a motor guide rail and a motor sliding block.
