A convertible sofa is convertible between a sofa configuration and a bed configuration. The convertible sofa includes articulated armrests. When the convertible sofa is in a sofa configuration, the arm rests are in an arm rest configuration. When the convertible sofa is in a bed configuration, the arm rests are in a generally flat or horizontal configuration.

At least one scissor mechanism is arranged between the lifting devices and each mounting pin of the rotational axis, at least one scissor limb is connected to a drive of the lifting device at one end and to a support at the other end. The other end of the scissor both is connected to a linear element for controlling purposes, said linear element having a surface which can be coupled to a surface of a wheel that is rotatably coupled to a complementary element of the mounting pin.

Since each lateral frame has the same pivot points (when viewed from the side), the linked seats rotate together. The seats also include buckle lugs which enable a particular seat to be used on either side of the aircraft.

It has a folding mechanism having first and second pairs of link members rotatably attached to a backrest and support members on left and right sides of the back rest. Via the first and second link members, the back rest is transitionable between the sofa configuration and the bed configuration. A convertible furniture system or futon includes a convertible frame assembly that is mountable in an interior space and is deployable between a bench configuration and a flat, bed configuration. Disclosed is a folding sofa bed, including a folding bed frame body, a cushion body, and a turning component. The cushion body is disposed above the folding bed frame body. The turning component is connected with the folding bed frame body and the cushion body. The turning component is capable of driving the cushion body above the folding bed frame body to turn to be below the folding bed frame body. In this application, when the folding sofa bed is unfolded, the cushion body may turn to be below the folding bed frame body through the turning component.
