A hair retainer and method of use. The hair retainer includes a central body having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, a first loop extending from the first end of the central body, and a second loop extending from the second end of the central body. Bunched hair is placed through the first loop, the central body is wrapped around the head, and the bunched hair is placed through the second loop.

A headband or head cover including an elastic glitter or plain ribbon, a top portion of which forms the outside of the headband, where the elastic glitter or plain ribbon has a substantially 360-degree glitter pattern. The headband further includes a stretch velvet ribbon, a bottom portion of which forms the inside of the headband. The elastic glitter or plain ribbon is attached to the stretch velvet ribbon using a stretch and stitch method. The bottom of the stretch velvet ribbon includes a velvet-like material that forms a gripping portion. The outside of the headband includes a 360-degree view with no break. The inside of the headband includes 360-degree gripping portion with no break.

The combination hair band and comb assists people with activities of daily living (ADLs). The combination hair band and comb includes an elongate fabric hair band having a series of small internal combs that assist the user in combing/brushing their hair. A first end of the band is attached to one end of a spring clip, and the opposite second end of the band passes through a hole at the other end of the spring clip. In use, the hair band is tightened by pulling the distal end of the band through the hole in the spring clip. The spring clip is then fastened to maintain the band in the desired position. The internal plastic combs extend through an internal slit in the band and comb the hair as the band is pulled rearward through the user's hair, by the user grasping and pulling the distal end of the band.

The combination hair band and comb assists people with activities of daily living (ADLs). The combination hair band and comb includes an elongate fabric hair band having a series of small internal combs that assist the user in combing/brushing their hair. A first end of the band is attached to one end of a spring clip, and the opposite second end of the band passes through a hole at the other end of the spring clip. In use, the hair band is tightened by pulling the distal end of the band through the hole in the spring clip. The spring clip is then fastened to maintain the band in the desired position. The internal plastic combs extend through an internal slit in the band and comb the hair as the band is pulled rearward through the user's hair, by the user grasping and pulling the distal end of the band.

A fastener comprises a length of non-elastic material having a first end and a second end; at least two apertures positioned along the length of said material; one or more fastening objects proximate said first end; said one or more fastening objects having at least a first profile and a second profile, wherein said first profile has a dimension sized to permit passage through said apertures and said second profile has a dimension sized to prohibit passage through said apertures. The fastener can bundle hair, or can be worn as a bracelet, choker or anklet.

A fastener comprises a length of non-elastic material having a first end and a second end; at least two apertures positioned along the length of said material; one or more fastening objects proximate said first end; said one or more fastening objects having at least a first profile and a second profile, wherein said first profile has a dimension sized to permit passage through said apertures and said second profile has a dimension sized to prohibit passage through said apertures. A woven elastic band includes a main body woven from an inner elastic band, at least an outer woven layer and at least two symmetric elastic strips by a horn gear braiding machine which works by a circular braiding process. The outer woven layer is configured to be woven together with the two elastic strips to cover the inner elastic band, and through a weaving process, a plurality of small diameter sections and a plurality of large diameter sections are alternatively formed on the main body. Each of the elastic strips has an elastic protruding portion formed on an outer periphery thereof. The protruding portions improve the resilience of the main body and the frictions at the large diameter sections of the main body so as to prevent a bead coupled around the small diameter sections of the main body from sliding or detaching from the main body.

A woven elastic band includes a main body woven from an inner elastic band, at least an outer woven layer and at least two symmetric elastic strips by a horn gear braiding machine which works by a circular braiding process. The outer woven layer is configured to be woven together with the two elastic strips to cover the inner elastic band, and through a weaving process, a plurality of small diameter sections and a plurality of large diameter sections are alternatively formed on the main body. Each of the elastic strips has an elastic protruding portion formed on an outer periphery thereof. The protruding portions improve the resilience of the main body and the frictions at the large diameter sections of the main body so as to prevent a bead coupled around the small diameter sections of the main body from sliding or detaching from the main body.

A hair band apparatus adapted to retain a subject's hair in a desired orientation away, e.g., from the face, and simultaneously impart a part in the subject's hair to enhance desired styling effects, includes a hair band member configured for positioning relative to a head of a subject, and being arranged about a central axis, and a single parting member mounted to the hair band member. The single parting member is configured to impart a part in the subject's hair while mounting the hair band member to the subject's head. The single parting member may be centrally located on the hair band member to provide a central part or be offset to provide a side part.
