A STORAGE VESSEL FOR A FOOD PROCESSING DEVICE
A storage structure 400 for a food processing device 10 with a bowl 16 for processing food using different accessories 82-88, that has a base unit 402 configured to fit within the bowl 16, and engagement formations 460, 474 to retain a plurality of the accessories 82-88 on the base unit 402 for individual removal from the base unit 402, and replacement into the base unit 402, without first removing or replacing another of the accessories 82-88.
FOOD PROCESSOR LID
A lid of a food processing system selectively receivable by a container of the food processing system includes a lid body defining a cavity within the lid body, a locking assembly at least partially disposed within the cavity and an actuator associated the said lid body and the locking assembly. The locking assembly is movable from an unlocked position to a locked position in response to application of a first force applied to the actuator. The locking assembly is movable from the locked position to the unlocked position in response to application of a second force applied to said actuator, the first force and said second force being applied in a same direction.
Food processor and method for taking a food sample
The present disclosure relates to a food processor along with a corresponding method for performing a food preparation process by heating, chopping and/or mixing a food in a food preparation vessel. The food processor comprises a control device configured such that the control device ensures, based on one or more cooking parameters, that in a cooking mode a food is heated, chopped and/or mixed in the food preparation vessel. A sampling mode for taking a food sample is provided and the control device is configured such that at least one of the cooking parameters is modified compared to the cooking mode for a modified continuation of the food preparation process when the sampling mode is activated. A particularly reproducible cooking result can be achieved in this way despite taking a food sample.
Locking mechanism
A locking mechanism (104) for a kitchen device (101) having a vessel (105), the vessel (105) providing an interior space and having a rim (106) surrounding an opening (105a) of the space, and a lid (121) to engage the rim (106) to close the space, the locking mechanism (104) comprising: a retaining arm (107), the retaining arm (107) being attachable to the device (101) and movable between a free position, wherein the lid (121) is movable with respect to the vessel (105), and a retaining position, wherein the retaining arm (107) is engageable with the lid (121) to retain the lid (121) against the vessel (105) to at least partly close the opening (105a); a securing assembly (108), the securing assembly (108) being attachable to the device (101) to engage the retaining arm (107) and movable between a free position, wherein the retaining arm (107) may be moved between the free position and the retaining position, and a securing position, wherein the securing assembly (108) engages the retaining arm (107) to prevent movement of the retaining arm (107) from the retaining position; a processor; and an electric motor (157) operated by the processor to move the securing assembly (108) between the free position and the securing position.
APPARATUS WITH A MIXING DEVICE FOR COOKING FOOD
Apparatus for cooking foods includes an external container with protective lid of the openable type, and an extractable internal container. The internal container is open at the top and has a base wall and at least one lateral wall, a heating device connected to a possible mean to transfer the heat generated toward the surface of the internal container and a mixing device reciprocally mobile with respect to the internal container.
Container/lid/blender interlock
An interlocking method and blending apparatus is provided which includes a base, container, and lid. The apparatus comprises light emitters, light sensors, and light reflectors. Light is emitted by the light emitters from the base, through the container, and toward the lid. Light reflectors in the lid reflect the light back through the container and toward the base. The light sensors detect the reflected light and can be used to control operation of the blender and illumination of the container. Light may be in the visible spectrum, or sub-visible spectrum. The light emitters and light sensors may be at the base and/or the bottom of the container.
Blender
A food-processing device for blending and mixing food comprises a mixing vessel, a blade holder, and a motor base. The motor is a high power motor. The device has various safety features designed for the high power motor. The blade holder comprises a safety mechanism that prevents the motor base from operating without the mixing vessel covering the blade. The mixing vessel also contains emitters that interact with detectors on the motor base that can allow a user to select an alternate blend speed according to the mixing vessel that is attached.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLED BLENDER LOCKING MECHANISM
A system for processing foodstuffs includes a container platform, a blade platform, and a locking mechanism. The container platform defines a container receptacle configured to receive a container including foodstuffs. The blade platform includes blades configured to rotate to process the foodstuffs. The locking mechanism is configured to couple the container platform to the blade platform to form a blending chamber including the blades and the container subsequent to determining that the container is received by the container receptacle and prior to rotation of the blades.
Safety system, a method for selecting an operating mode, and a lid for a kitchen device
A safety system (4) for a kitchen device (1) having a vessel (5) and a lid (21), the safety system (4) comprising: a processor (10); a retaining arm (7) adapted to, in a retaining position, retain the lid (21) against the vessel (5); a first sensor (40) adapted to communicate a retaining signal to the processor (10) when the retaining arm (7) is in the retaining position; and a second sensor (43) adapted to communicate a function signal to the processor (10), the function signal indicating a function of the lid (21), wherein the processor (10) is adapted to select an operating mode of the kitchen device (1) in response to the retaining signal and the function signal.
Blender enclosure
This invention relates to an enclosure such as those which house a food processor to deaden the noise emanating there from. An enclosure for a food blender including an enclosure base portion into which a food blender mechanism is placed, enclosure side walls attached to the base, and a top cover portion attachable to the side walls portion. The enclosure base portion includes a bottom, sides, front, back walls and open on the top. The main side walls portion includes front, back, sides, and open ends. The top cover includes a seal against the side walls and a center recess into which fits a blender food canister and through which the user can grip via top cover flexible material.
