A paper dispenser for dispensing paper provided on a roll may include a cylindrical housing having a compartment dimensioned to receive the roll and a slot provided between an inner and an outer surface of the cylindrical housing to dispense paper from the roll. End walls may be removably provided proximate to longitudinal ends of the cylindrical housing. The paper dispenser may also include a decorative layer and a layer of absorptive material for dispensing fragrance. Additionally or alternatively, the dispenser may employ a flexible rod that supports the paper roll in a position that is further away from a support structure than would be possible with a rigid rod, and may provide illumination functionality.

A sheet dispensing apparatus to dispense sheets from a sheet material card having a plurality of sheets. The sheet dispensing apparatus includes a door, a door plate, a back plate, and a motor including a motor shaft, wherein the motor is operatively connected to the door plate, and a motor wheel is operatively connected to the motor shaft. The motor wheel is driven by the motor shaft to detach a sheet from the sheet material card. The apparatus further includes a first light pipe having a first end and a second end, wherein a signal transmitted at the first end of the first light pipe is received at the second end if the correct sheet material card is being used. A second light pipe receives a signal at the first end and receives the signal at the second end, if the sheet material card is not present or out of sheets.

The present application provides a tucker fold dispenser for folding and dispensing a sheet of material. The tucker fold dispenser may include an outer shell, a removable roller cassette positioned within the outer shell, a paper path therethrough, a number of loading rollers positioned about the paper path, a number of folding rollers positioned about the paper path, and a tucker bar mechanism positioned about the folding rollers.

A system comprising a plurality of dispensers each configured to dispense a respective hygienic consumable product during a dispense operation and each including a processor and memory; a distributed computing program configured to receive data defining a computational task comprising work streams and generate data assigning the work streams to at least two of the plurality of dispensers, wherein each of the at least two of the plurality of dispensers are configured to use their respective processor and memory to work on their respective work streams; and a data processing apparatus configured to run the distributed computing program.

A dispenser for dispensing sheet product is provided. The dispenser includes a housing with an outlet through which sheet product is dispensed. A knife drum is rotatable with respect to the housing. A knife is movable between a retracted position within the knife drum and an extended position where the knife protrudes outside of the knife drum to cut the sheet product. A cam follower surface is fixed with respect to the housing. A cam follower is attached to the knife and operable to engage the cam follower surface and travel therealong to transition the knife between the retracted position and the extended position. A spring assembly biases the knife drum during rotation toward a predetermined position. The spring assembly comprises a first spring and a second spring. The spring assembly is attached at a single mount position that is fixed with respect to the housing.

The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods that facilitate identifying, logging, mapping, and/or tracking of the movements and/or activities of individuals throughout a facility using a plurality of dispensers are positioned at selected locations about the facility. The systems and methods further allow for capturing infrared radiation of one or more individuals within a prescribed detection range, area, or zone covered using at least one passive infrared radiation sensor. The control system of a dispenser of the plurality of dispensers can be disconnected from a power source of the dispenser when the at least one passive infrared radiation sensor does not capture infrared radiation of one or more individuals within the prescribed detection range, area, or zone. Disclosed herein is a wipes device for dispensing warm wetted wipes. A wipes device includes a wipes dispensing structure configured to permit a user to remove a wetted wipe, a wipes housing configured to hold dry wipes, wherein the wetted wipe is accessible via the wipes dispensing structure, an evaporation device unit positioned relative to the wipes housing, a water container connected to the evaporation device unit, and an additive housing connected to the evaporation device unit, where the evaporation device unit is configured to the wet the dry wipes by vaporizing a combination of water from the water container and an additive from the additive housing for a defined event.

Sheet product dispensers and methods of dispensing sheet products are provided, including feeding a sheet material from a roll via a sheet feeding mechanism, separating one or more discrete sheet products from the roll via a separation mechanism, dispensing the one or more discrete sheet products to an end user at a presentation station via a sheet product conveying mechanism, and detecting a presence of the sheet material via a sensor downstream of the sheet feeding mechanism, wherein the sheet product conveying mechanism is driven in response to the sensor detecting the presence of the sheet material.

An example sheet product dispenser is configured to dispense from a sheet product roll that includes a plurality of predetermined portions that are designed for providing a toilet seat cover. A line of perforations separates consecutive portions. A motor operates to drive the drive roller to cause movement of the sheet product along a dispensing pathway to position a leading predetermined portion of the sheet product into a dispensing position such that the trailing edge of the leading predetermined portion is positioned within the housing and the leading edge of the leading predetermined portion is positioned outside of the dispensing chute to enable removal of the leading predetermined portion. Staged dispensing is utilized to help maintain hygiene, while still quickly providing the dispense. Perforation tear assist features are provided to aid in proper separation of the line of perforations, such as to help maintain integrity of the dispensed portion.
