Cleaning nozzle for a vacuum cleaner
A vacuum cleaner nozzle having a rotatable member for picking up particles from a surface to be cleaned, and an external cleaning apparatus for removing articles entangled to the rotatable member. The nozzle includes a support surface provided on a radially projecting member of the rotatable member, and a cleaning member provided on the external cleaning apparatus. During rotation of the rotatable member, the cleaning member co-operates with the support surface to remove entangled articles from the rotatable member.
Surface cleaning apparatus
A surface cleaning apparatus, wherein the suction motor is operable using current supplied from an energy storage member when the power cord is removed and operable using current supplied from an external source when the power cord is in electrical communication with the suction motor.
ROBOTIC VACUUM CLEANER
A robotic vacuum cleaner having a nozzle inlet facing a surface to be cleaned, and a rotatable side brush. The rotatable side brush has bristles extending substantially in parallel with the surface to be cleaned, and the nozzle inlet includes a frame structure forming an opening, the opening being arranged in fluid communication with a debris receptacle. The bristles extend over a side portion of the nozzle inlet. The frame structure has a base portion extending substantially in parallel with the surface to be cleaned. The base portion extends at a first level. The frame structure at the side portion extends substantially in parallel with the surface to be cleaned at a second level. The first level is arranged closer to the surface to be cleaned than the second level.
ROBOTIC VACUUM CLEANER
A robotic vacuum cleaner having a nozzle inlet arranged in a portion of a housing of the vacuum cleaner. The nozzle inlet has a frame structure forming an opening. The frame structure has a base portion extending substantially in parallel with a surface to be cleaned, the base portion extending at a first level. A leading edge portion has at least two distance members forming there between a channel to the opening. The channel has a delimiting surface extending at a second level substantially in parallel with the first level. The first level is arranged closer to the surface to be cleaned than the second level. Each distance member has a substantially triangular cross section. At least a portion of side surfaces of the distance members extend substantially perpendicularly to the base portion.
AUTONOMOUS VACUUM
An autonomous vacuum cleaner includes an outer housing and a separator assembly that is removably received by the autonomous vacuum cleaner. A portion of the separator assembly defines a portion of at least two walls of the outer housing.
ELECTRIC VACUUM CLEANING APPARATUS
An electric vacuum cleaning apparatus including an autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner that autonomously moves between surfaces to be cleaned and collects dust and a station fluidly connectable to the autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner. The autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner includes: a container body accumulating collected dust, the container body including: a bottom wall including a disposal port; and a disposal lid opening and closing the disposal port. The station unit includes: a dust transfer pipe connected to the disposal port; a secondary dust container accumulating dust; and a secondary electric blower that generates negative suction pressure in the dust transfer pipe via the secondary dust container. At least one irregularly shaped ventilation groove that causes air to flow below the dust within the container body by the negative pressure generated by the secondary electric blower is provided to the inner surface of the bottom wall of the container body.
VACUUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner capable of more efficiently cleaning narrow spots while effectively avoiding an object. An object sensor provided in a main casing detects the presence or absence of an object within a specified distance in a plurality of directions on a forward side of the main casing. A control unit controls operation of driving wheels, based on detection of an object by the object sensor to thereby make the main casing autonomously travel. When an object is detected by the object sensor, the control unit controls the operation of the driving wheels, so that the main casing is swung to an angle corresponding to a direction of the detected object to thereby make a side portion of the main casing face the object.
VACUUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner capable of recording an abnormality immediately upon occurrence of the abnormality. The vacuum cleaner has a main casing. The vacuum cleaner has driving wheels for enabling the main casing to travel. The vacuum cleaner has a control unit for controlling drive of the driving wheels to make the main casing autonomously travel. The control unit has a function as an abnormality sensor for detecting an abnormality. The vacuum cleaner has a camera for picking up an image. The control unit has a cleaning mode for cleaning a cleaning-object surface, an image pickup mode for performing image pickup with the camera, and a standby mode applied during a standby state. Upon detection of an abnormality during the cleaning mode, the control unit is switched over to the image pickup mode to perform image pickup with the camera.
Brush roller magnet assembly
Provided is a brush roller magnet assembly which may be utilized on various types of mechanical devices such as a vacuum cleaner. The brush roller magnet assembly includes a brush roller having a first end, a second end, a cylindrical lateral outer surface and an opening positioned at any point along the cylindrical lateral surface of the brush roller. The opening of the brush roller opening has at least one side surface, a bottom surface, a width, a depth and a borehole positioned at the bottom surface of the opening. A magnet having an opening is positioned within the brush roller opening and a connector is received within the magnet opening to fasten the magnet to the brush roller. The position of the magnet inserted within the brush roller opening is adjustable through various means disclosed herein.
Cleaning roller for cleaning robots
A cleaning roller is mountable to a cleaning robot. The cleaning roller includes a sheath comprising a shell, an outer diameter of the shell tapering from a first end portion of the sheath and a second end portion of the sheath toward a center of the roller. The cleaning roller further includes a core including a central portion interlocked with the sheath to rotationally couple the core to the sheath and inhibit relative translation of the sheath and the core along an axis of rotation. An inner surface of the sheath and an outer surface of the core define an air gap therebetween, the air gap extending from the central portion of the core longitudinally along the axis of rotation toward the first end portion or the second end portion.
