A cleaning system includes: a bucket; a cleaning device with a mop head, the mop head including a carrier body and cleaning fringes that are fixed to the carrier body, the carrier body being connected to a stick on its side facing away from the cleaning fringes; and a washing-out device arranged in the bucket for washing out the cleaning fringes, the washing-out device including a basket settable into an upward and downward movement by a first actuating device, and a spinning device arranged in the bucket for spin-drying the cleaning fringes, the spinning device including the basket, which is settable into rotational movement by a second actuating device, and a centering pin, which is arranged in the basket and centers the cleaning device. The carrier body is essentially disk-shaped, with a circumferential boundary and with a maximum extension d1 between two circumferential areas opposite to each other.

A cleaning article for cleaning a target surface. The cleaning article has strips which present a dynamically changing surface area to the target surface during use. The surface area has also has a bundle of tow fibers which may be oriented transverse to the strips. The tow fibers may extend outwardly from the plane of the strips, allowing particles to migrate towards and be retained near the center of the cleaning article, without interfering with the strips.

A device for cleaning a swimming pool comprising a base member. The base member having a first base portion and a second base portion. A socket disposed on the base member, and the first base portion the and second base portion each respectively having a hinge end and a distal end. The second base portion hinge end is attached to the first base portion hinge end forming a hinge of the base member. A microfibre cloth removably mountable to the base member; and wherein the second base portion is configured to move between a first position and a second position, in which the first position is an operating position and the second position is a cloth removal position.

The present invention is a mopping device with a cleaning head having cleaning bristles which can be adapted to be loosened or stiffened depending on the cleaning requirements. The mopping device includes a tubular rod with a shaft adapted to slide inside thereof and a piston at a lower end of the shaft. The shaft may be pushed inside the tubular rod, by pushing a handle, to pump air into air bladders of the cleaning bristles to make them stiff. Further, a cap is disposed which can be removed to vent out the pumped air to loosen the cleaning bristles. A high-pressure outlet valve and a spring-loaded check valve is utilized to check and aid with pumping of air. The mopping device can be utilized for washing purposes with the stiffened bristles and for dusting purposes with the loosened bristles.

A Kentucky mop comprises a mop head (11) having an elongate tubular header (19) formed of fabric material from which a plurality of elongate co-extending members (18) of absorbent material extend. A handle assembly (10) of the mop comprises a mount (13) having a pivotable mounting bar 15 that can be inserted into the tubular header (19) and pivoted towards a body (14) of the mount. The header (19) is securely constrained by the bar (15) in a channel formed on the bottom wall of the mount body (14).

A Kentucky mop comprises a mop head (11) having an elongate tubular header (19) formed of fabric material from which a plurality of elongate co-extending members (18) of absorbent material extend. A handle assembly (10) of the mop comprises a mount (13) having a pivotable mounting bar 15 that can be inserted into the tubular header (19) and pivoted towards a body (14) of the mount. The header (19) is securely constrained by the bar (15) in a channel formed on the bottom wall of the mount body (14).

A mop tool is provided. The mop tool includes: an elongated stick; a cleaning head which includes a head body that has a coupling portion rotatably coupled to one end of the stick, and a gap portion that extends from the coupling portion of the head body toward at least one side of the head body; and a rotation control element which is installed on the stick so as to be movable along the stick. The rotation control element includes a locking member which is releasably coupled to at least a part of the head body which adjoins the gap portion, and restricts a relative rotation between the cleaning head and the stick.
