AN INFANT PERIPHERAL LANCING DEVICE HAVING SAFETY BUCKLE TURN LOCK AND ANTI-BACKWARD PUSH BUTTON
An infant peripheral lancing device having safety buckle turn lock and anti-backward push button, wherein the safety mechanism is a safety buckle rotationally connected on a housing, and the first occupation gesture of the safety buckle during movement is between a push button and the housing and locks the push button; the second occupation gesture is in unlocking position. The push button is set with a locking mechanism, which comprises a first locking part on the push button and a second locking part on the housing or the cam and when the push button is moved backward, the first locking part and the second locking part meet to form a locking state. This solution always connects the safety buckle and the housing to prevent an accidental disconnection or loss and the lancing device present invention locks the push button automatically after using to make it easy for the user to identify the state of the push button.
Devices and methods for expression of bodily fluids from an incision
Systems and methods for the expression of bodily fluid from an incision in the skin include devices which bear against the skin in a manner to retain the fluid adjacent the incision site and urge the fluid inwardly toward the incision. Systems utilize a constricting member, a bi-stable expression member, or a pressing member. The present invention further encompasses combinations of the foregoing expression systems with each other, as well as with other expression devices known in the art. Moreover, the invention includes the combination of the expression systems with incising, sampling and/or testing systems, particularly in a single, integrated device. The present invention also contemplates the associated methods for expressing bodily fluid from an incision, including in combination with methods for incising, sampling and/or testing of the bodily fluid.
SAMPLE COLLECTION DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EXTRACTING AND COLLECTING A SAMPLE OF A FLUID OF A USER
A system for extracting and collecting a sample of a fluid of a user, comprising a sample collection device, comprising a sample container arranged to receive said sample; a cap arranged to cooperate with the sample container and having an incision mechanism movable in the cap by a triggering mechanism; a sealing mechanism; a sample extraction device, comprising a vacuum creation mechanism arranged to create vacuum in a vacuum chamber; and a valve control mechanism arranged to release the vacuum from the vacuum chamber to the sample collection device. The system simplifies collection of a fluid (e.g., blood) sample while keeping a high-quality standard for its analysis, minimizes the risk of injury due to handling the sample, reduces the risk of contamination of the collected sample, is compatible with standard blood analysers of central laboratories, requires minimal action from the user, and can collect large volumes of bodily fluid.
BLOOD SAMPLING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
The present disclosure provides a lancing device that includes a lancet for piercing a user's skin and a lancing device body to drive the lancet. An actuator included in the lancing device body can drive the lancet to perform a linear reciprocating motion multiple times upon a single activation. Accordingly, the lancet may pierce the user's skin multiple times upon a single activation.
LANCING DEVICES
The invention relates to a single use lancing device comprising: a housing defining a cavity; a needle assembly comprising a needle and a needle holder, the needle assembly located within the cavity; a release member comprising: a body portion, the body portion having an aperture passing through the body portion along a central longitudinal axis of the release member from a rear opening to a forward opening; and retaining arms; a release member cap configured to be received by the rear opening such that the release member cap at least partially fits within the aperture; and a spring arranged to bias the needle assembly in a forward direction relative to the release member.
