LANCING DEVICE
Pen-type lancing device of the re-usable type wherein a lancet body having a needle/tip is inserted; standard spring type actuator (urging member); skin touching forward face having a textured surface for pain relieve; sleeve having internal stop(s) so that the lancet does not overshoot. Also a pen-type lancing device of the re-usable type wherein a lancet body having a needle/tip is inserted; elastomer type urging member for driving the lancet; triggering means (denoted “actuating means”). Further a pen-type lancing device of the reusable type wherein a lancet body having a needle/tip is inserted; standard spring type actuator (urging member) for driving the lancet; alignment splines and cooperating alignment portion(s) for guiding the lancet movement. Even further a method of assembling a blood sampling device in which it does not matter what rotational orientation the components are assembled in.
Single-handed operable infant heel blood sampling device and its safety mechanism
The disclosure discloses a single-handed operable infant heel blood sampling device and its safety mechanism, including a push-pull rod and an actuating rod partially extending outside the blood sampler housing; the actuating rod has a second hook portion that can engage with the first hook portion; to perform blood sampling, push down the push-pull rod to disengage the buckle portion from the housing, causing the first hook portion to engage with the second hook portion on the first end of the actuating rod; then pull up the push-pull rod to pull the actuating rod, and the actuating rod thus releases a pre-compressed spring set inside the blood sampler housing, allowing the blade originally positioned in a first position inside the housing to slide out from a cutting port and then be retracted into a second position inside the housing.
MINIATURE SAFETY BLOOD LANCET FOR MINIMIZING PAIN
A miniature safety blood lancet for minimizing pain includes a needle body, an activation sleeve, a housing and a spring. The activation sleeve is arranged in the housing. The needle body is arranged in the activation sleeve. The housing, the activation sleeve and the needle body are slidably connected. The activation sleeve is provided with an inner wall. The inner side of the middle of the inner wall is provided with an unlocking arm, and the outer side of the bottom of the inner wall is provided with a buckle. A needle cap is arranged at the front end of the needle body. The unlocking arm of the activation sleeve is snap-fitted with a self-locking protrusion of the needle cap and an inverted buckle of the housing, respectively. The spring is arranged between the bottom of the needle body and the housing.
Lancing Device with Ejector
A lancing device with an ejector that is movably retained with a housing in proximity to a lancet and is selectively movable between a home position, a first eject position, an intermediate position defined by contact of the ejector with the lancet, and a second eject position. The ejector is rotatable to move from the home to first eject position and is linearly translatable to move between the first and second eject positions. The ejector includes an arm that extends within the housing and engages the lancet, an exterior portion that is actuated by a user, and a post extending therebetween. The post extends through a slot in the housing which limits the linear movement and direction of the ejector. Upon rotation of the ejector, the arm extends through an opening at the rear of the carriage holding the lancet to permit access to the lancet.
A BLOOD SAMPLING DEVICE
Blood sampling device comprising a lancet body supporting a lancet tip, said lancet being moveably mounted within a housing, an urging member configured to urge said lancet forwardly in said housing in use from a primed position in which said lancet tip is located within a passage to a lancing position in which said lancet tip projects through an aperture in the forward end of the housing and a removable safety cap. The housing and said safety cap comprise cooperating abutment surfaces and cooperating stop surfaces, with the safety cap being rotatable in a first direction from a first blocked position in which said cooperating abutment surfaces are in abutment alignment to prevent removal of said safety cap from said housing to a second position in which said cooperating abutment surfaces are not in abutment alignment such that said safety cap can be removed from said housing; and wherein said stop surfaces cooperate to limit further rotation of said safety cap in said first direction when said safety cap is in said second position.
Magnetic lancet device
Embodiments of the present invention provide magnetic lancet devices and methods for driving a lancet. For example, a magnetic lancet device may include a driving mechanism having a plurality of magnets and a lancet coupled to the driving mechanism. A magnetic interaction between the plurality of magnets is configured to drive the lancet from an engaged position to a penetrating position.
Latch mechanism for preventing lancet oscillation in a lancing device
A lancing device including a latch that pivots between a non-blocking position allowing a lancet carrier and a lancet to advance and retract through a first forward and reverse lancing stroke and a blocking position preventing further/excess/secondary oscillation of the lancet carrier and lancet. The pivotal latch can pivot about an axis perpendicular (e.g., for an L-shaped latch) or parallel/coaxial (e.g., for a sleeve latch) to the advancement and retraction motion of the lancet carrier and lancet.
Blood Draw Device with Anti-Buckling Feature
A blood draw device for use with a peripheral intravenous catheter (PIVC) includes a catheter, an introducer, an actuator movably coupled to the introducer, with the actuator configured to move relative to the introducer to move the catheter between a first position, in which the distal end of the catheter is disposed within the introducer, and a second position, in which the distal end of the catheter is disposed beyond the distal end of the introducer. The introducer defines a groove extending from the proximal end of the introducer to the distal end of the introducer. The groove is positioned within the inner volume of the introducer and closer to the bottom surface than the top surface, with the groove configured to receive a portion of the catheter during use of the blood draw device.
Tail pressing type disposable safety lancet
A tail pressing type disposable safety lancet includes a shell, a lancet core, a spring and tail cover. The shell has an elastic arm for locking the lancet core, wherein: the tail cover has an active locking part for locking and the elastic arm has a passive locking part for locking correspondingly; the positions, the fitting time of the active locking part and the passive locking part correlate with the active and passive unlocking parts; when the tail cover is pressed during use, it forces the lancet core to unlock for ejection and puncturing, and the tail cover and elastic arm enter the locking state and cannot be used again. After use of the safety lancet, the tail cover permanently locks on the elastic arm of the shell, ensuring the safety of single use, and the user visually recognizes the tail cover is retracted at the tail of the shell.
