Systems and methods for real-time signal processing and fitting
Various examples of methods and systems are provided for real-time signal processing. In one example, a method for processing data to select a pattern includes receiving data via a sensor, evaluating the data including waveforms over a time domain, averaging the waveforms to obtain a mean waveform, selecting a pattern based on the mean waveform, and generating a notification regarding the selected pattern. The pattern can include a start time, a hold time, and an end time. In another example, a system includes one or more sensors that detect the data and a mobile platform that evaluates the data, averages the waveforms to obtain the mean waveform and selects a pattern based on the mean waveform. A user interface can be used to communicate the notification regarding the selected pattern. The patterns can include breathing patterns, which can be used to reduce stress in a subject being monitored by the sensor.

ELECTRODE
An electrode for applying to human skin, has an electrically non-conductive support. The support has on its upper side a projecting, electrically conductive connection element with a connection location for the releasable connection of a signal conductor. A conductor is provided, and the conductor is arranged at least to some extent on the opposite, underside of the support and is connected electrically to the connection element and to a contact medium, which is directed towards the skin. The connection element has at least one protrusion, which extends through the support and, at its end, has a widened region formed by deformation. This deformed, widened region makes it possible to establish, on the one hand, an electrical connection between the conductor and the connection element and, on the other hand, a mechanical fastening of the connection element on the support.

BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION DETECTION DEVICE
Provided is a biological information detection device capable of restraining noise from being mixed with a signal relating to biological information. A biological information detection device includes an electrode pad that is able to detect a signal (bioelectric signal) relating to biological information of a subject (for example, a fetus in a mother's body), a connector that is connectable to the electrode pad, and a cable that is connected to the connector and is able to transmit the signal. The electrode pad and the connector are provided with fixing members and that are attachable to and detachable from each other, respectively.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PROCESSING DATA VIA AN EXECUTABLE FILE ON A MONITOR TO REDUCE THE DIMENSIONALITY OF THE DATA AND ENCRYPTING THE DATA BEING TRANSMITTED OVER THE WIRELESS NETWORK
Some embodiments include processing data via an executable file on a monitor to reduce the dimensionality of the data being transmitted over the wireless network. The output of the executable file also encrypts the data before being transmitted wireless to a remote server. The remote server receives the transmitted data and makes likelihood inferences based on the recorded data.
APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING
A monitoring device wearable by a person to be monitored, comprising: one or more sensing means for sensing cardio, respiratory, physiological and/or other information from the person; processing means for analysing the sensed information; memory means for storing the sensed and/or analysed information; and communication means for transmitting at least the analysed information. At least one waveform acquired from the sensed cardio, respiratory, physiological and/or other information is digitised in real time; analysis of the sensed and/or digitised information is performed in real-time and a welfare indication of the person computed in real-time; and the computed welfare indication of the person is transmitted by the communication means and/or stored in the memory means.
Wearable device to disposable patch connection via conductive adhesive
A medical device configured to be adhesively coupled to an external surface of a subject, and to facilitate physiological monitoring of the subject, includes: a first portion having a housing that at least partially encloses an interior chamber and has a grip portion that has a peanut-like shape; and a second portion including a flexible patch configured to facilitate operably coupling the first portion to the subject. The flexible patch includes third and fourth sensor connections configured to operably interface with the first and second sensor connections, respectively; first and second sensing elements; and a flexible circuit assembly configured to electrically couple the third sensor connection to the first sensing element and the fourth sensor connection to the second sensing element. An adhesive assembly is configured to couple the first portion to the second portion, and includes conductive adhesive portions.
