An electrode connector adapted for attachment to a biomedical patient electrode by either pinch or snap connection includes a pair of pivotally connected members including a connector body and a jaw pivotally connected to said connector body, with the jaw defining a beveled lower surface that functions to urge the jaw open by engagement of the top surface of an ECG stud thereby allowing the connector to be attached by snap engagement. An electrically conducting plate is disposed at the bottom of the connector to maximize electrical contact with the electrode stud. The jaw member further includes a lip functioning to engage a lower portion of the head of the stud and urge the radially enlarged base of the stud into electrical contact with the bottom surface of said electrically conducting member. An ECG electrode connector in accordance with the present invention may further be fabricated of radiolucent materials.

Physiological recording device or electrode

The present invention is directed to a physiological recording device, or other types of sensors to detect a biopotential, and more particularly, a physiological recording electrode that can be used without skin preparation or the use of electrolytic gels. The invention is further directed to the configurations of structures on the physiological recording electrode's lower surface. The structures having a length, width, and height, which are capable, at least in part, of transmitting an electric potential from the skin which can be measured. The structures may or may not limit the depth of application, and/or anchor the electrode or other device during normal application, and/or allow for uniform application of the electrode or other device over unprepared skin.

ROUND-THE-CLOCK MONITORING OF AN ANIMAL'S HEALTH STATUS

A system and associated methods for round-the-clock monitoring of an animal's health status includes an animal harness that is worn by the animal, and one or both of a mobile device and a remote server. The animal harness includes a plurality of sensors for collecting health measurements of the animal. The animal harness also includes a transceiver that communicates the heath measurements to one or both of the mobile device and the remote server, where a user may view the health measurements. Firmware in the animal harness, an application running in the mobile device, and software in the remote server processes and corrects the health measurements to generate a health status of the animal and notifications are generated when the animal's health is not within a safe range defined by the user.

BIOELECTRODE SHEET

A bioelectrode sheet (100) is configured to be affixed to the skin of a subject, a drug (104b) being mixed in an adhesive layer (104) provided at a peripheral position of a conductive gel layer (103) so as to avoid the conductive gel layer (103). The drug (104b) admixed with the adhesive layer (104) can thereby be caused to penetrate the body while biological information is acquired by an electrode (102) via the conductive gel layer (103).

SURFACE ELECTRODE HAVING A MOUNTING ELEMENT FOR A MAGNETIC SENSOR

A mounting element (8) for releasably receiving a sensor (18) for transferring and/or receiving electrical currents and/or signals relating to a body of an organism, comprising a mounting element base (9) having a receiving space (17) for receiving the sensor (18), the receiving space (17) comprising a floor (19), a wall (16) disposed on the floor (19) and disposed on at least three sides, an opening (20) formed by at least one tab (21, 22), at least one clip closure (23, 24), and further comprising a cover (10) for the mounting element base (9), an at least three-sided wall being disposed on the inner side (11) thereof, the end face (30) thereof being implemented for contacting the end face (41) of the wall (16), wherein at least one counterpart (28, 29) to the at least one clip closure (23, 24) is disposed on the wall (27), and the mounting element base (9) and the cover (10) are connected to each other by a connecting element (13) such that the cover (10) is displaceable relative to the mounting element base (9), and the mounting element base (9) and the cover (10) are therefore lockable to each other by means of the at least one clip closure (23, 24) and the at least one counterpart (28, 29) and can also be opened again.

SENSOR, SENSOR MODULE, AND SENSOR HOUSING

A first electrode and a second electrode are attached to a subject. A processor module acquires physiological information of the subject based on biopotential that are detected by the first electrode and the second electrode, respectively. A housing has a battery housing member for housing a primary battery which supplies an electric power to the processor module. The processor module is attachable to and detachable from the housing.
