Methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable mediums for SSVEP detection

In accordance with one embodiment of the present disclosure, a method includes generating a plurality of icons, wherein each icon has a target frequency unique from each other, receiving brain activity data based on an epoch, generating a reference signal based on the epoch, calculating correlation coefficients between the brain activity data and the reference signal, wherein the correlation coefficients are calculated in a window that is within ±0.5 Hz of the target frequencies, including endpoints, determining a confidence score based on the correlation coefficients and the epoch, and determining a selected icon among the plurality of icons based on the correlation coefficients in response to the confidence score surpassing a threshold confidence score.

Methods and Systems for Obtaining, Aggregating, and Analyzing Vision Data to Assess a Person's Vision Performance

The present specification describes methods and systems for modifying a media, such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, or Mixed Reality (VR/AR/MxR) media based on a vision profile and a target application. In embodiments of the specification, a Sensory Data Exchange (SDE) is created that enables identification of various vision profiles for users and user groups. The SDE may be utilized to modify one or more media in accordance with each type of user and/or user group.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR NEUROENHANCEMENT TO ENHANCE EMOTIONAL RESPONSE

Provided are systems, methods, and devices for providing mediation of a traumatic brain injury. Systems may include an interface, processing devices, and a controller. The interface is configured to obtain measurements from a brain of a user with a traumatic brain injury. A first processing device is configured to generate multiple brain state parameters characterizing one or more features of a brain state of the user. A second processing device is configured to generate models of the brain of the user based on the plurality of brain state parameters and the plurality of measurements, and determine, using the models and training data comprising one or more mediation data points, a mediation procedure for reducing one or more symptoms of the traumatic brain injury. The mediation procedure is provided to one or more entities, and one or more control signals are generated by the controller based on the mediation procedure.

Electroencephalogram hashing device for authentication and routing
11681789 · 2023-06-20 · ·

Systems and methods for authenticating and/or routing a digital signal are provided. A system may include a central database configured to store a set of signature brain wave responses as part of a profile of a user. The system may include a transaction device, a sensory device, and an EEG device. When a transaction request is received from the user, the system may be configured to present the user with a sensory prompt, detect a response of the user to the first sensory prompt, compare the response to the signature response in the profile associated with the sensory prompt, and, when the response matches the signature response within a predetermined delta, authenticate and/or route the transaction request.

SELF-ADMINISTERED EVALUATION AND TRAINING METHOD TO IMPROVE MENTAL STATE
20170352283 · 2017-12-07 ·

A method and system affects the mental state of a user through cognitive or attention training by providing or displaying a first auditory or visual stimulus to a user, manipulating one or more features of the stimulus to provide or display a second auditory or visual image stimulus, and repeating the steps of manipulating features of the auditory or visual image stimulus to provide or display one or more additional auditory or visual image stimuli to the user. An electronic/computing device receives input from the user, such as EEG signal information, indicating the user's mental state which is evaluated to determine a mood of the user. In response to improvement in the user's mood, the user is rewarded with an additional selected auditory or visual image stimulus. Further, based on improvements in the user's mood, the manipulation of features and provision or display of the stimuli may be adjusted.

Similarity Evaluation Method Using Brain Waves, Evaluation Device, Evaluation System, And Program
20170340230 · 2017-11-30 ·

Provided are a method, a device, a system, and a program for evaluating similarity of brain activity with respect to an object to be evaluated, using data obtained by a simple measurement of brain waves. Brain wave data related to cognitive processing with respect to a plurality of sensory stimuli are dimensionally compressed, and a distribution of the object to be evaluated is displayed on a two-dimensional plane or three-dimensionally. In this way, similarity of brain information with respect to the plurality of sensory stimuli is evaluated, and the similarity is visualized. The brain wave data related to the cognitive processing include brain wave data upon selection of a stimulus as a target, and brain wave data caused by a non-target stimulus event.
