System and method for validation of hearing aids for infants using a speech signal
A system for validation of a hearing aid performance, especially in small children is disclosed. The validation of the performance of hearing aids after having being fitted to a small child who is not able to subjectively provide responses to sounds presented to the child via the hearing aids, is instead done in an objective manner, by using a naturally occurring signal, which has been modulated in order to create an ASSR evoking speech stimulus which is not considered as noise by a hearing aid.

Molecularly-Initiated, Experientially-Delivered Treatments and Systems for Practicing Same
Provided are methods comprising presenting a sensory environment to an individual experiencing the effects of a psychoactive agent, monitoring the neural status, the physiological status, or both, of the individual, and presenting a modified sensory environment to the individual based on the monitoring. In certain embodiments, the agent is a psychedelic agent. According to some embodiments, presenting a sensory environment to the individual comprises presenting to the individual a visual stimulus, an auditory stimulus, a tactile stimulus, an olfactory stimulus, or any combination thereof. In certain embodiments, presenting a modified sensory environment to the individual comprises presenting a customized sensory environment to the individual in real-time based on the monitoring. In some embodiments, the individual is suffering from a mental health condition selected from depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addiction, and any combination thereof. Systems that find use in practicing the methods of the present disclosure are also provided.
Physio-sensory transduction method and device
A method and device allowing a physiological signal, typically representative of brain activity, to be transcribed in the form of sensory signals perceptible to a human user, typically acoustic signals is provided. For this purpose, a physiological signal is acquired and then analysed in such a way as to detect therein patterns that are then parameterised in the time domain. One or more parameters of these patterns are used to determine one or more parameters of the generated sensory signals and/or to determine one or more parameters of temporal envelopes used to modulate the sensory signals. This method and device can be applied, in particular, to neuro-acoustic transduction.
Method and apparatus for adaptive audio signal alteration
A method and an apparatus for enabling adaptive audio signal alteration are described. When an input audio signal is received, a determination of whether the user of an audio device hears the input audio signal is performed based upon brain activity of the user. A determination of whether the user is distracted by the audio signal is performed based upon sensor measurements indicating a physical state of the user. In response to determining that the user hears the input audio signal and that the input audio signal causes the user to be distracted, a determination of configuration parameter(s) is performed. An alteration of audio signal(s) is caused based upon the configuration parameter(s) to obtain modified version(s) of the audio signal(s) that are intended to address the distraction caused by the input audio signal, and output audio signals are output, where the output audio signals include the modified versions.

EMBEDDED DEVICE FOR SYNCHRONIZED COLLECTION OF BRAINWAVES AND ENVIRONMENTAL DATA
A system having one or more devices (1) for automatic brainwave analysis, configured to be worn by a user, and a remote processing unit configured to store all of the signals from said one or more devices, having at least one brainwave sensor (11, 12), providing a stream (21, 22) of brain data associated with said user; at least one environmental sensor (13, 14), providing an environmental data stream (23, 24); means (15) for selecting a signal extracted from said stream of brain data, for associating them with at least one corresponding signal extracted from said stream of environmental data, for storing said signals and for transmitting them to the remote processing unit, the latter comprising means for extracting classification information from said data, and for constituting a set associating said data with the extracted classification information.
VENTRAL STRIATUM ACTIVITY
A neurofeedback method, including: recording electrical signals from at least one brain region of a subject, wherein changes in the recorded electrical signals over time indicate changes in an activity level of the at least one brain region; providing an audio signal having a perceived quality based on the recorded electrical signals and according to an activity level of the at least one brain region; delivering the audio signal to the subject during said recording.
