Ph sensing for sensor enabled negative pressure wound monitoring and therapy apparatuses
Embodiments of apparatuses, systems, methods for monitoring wound pH are disclosed. In some embodiments, a wound dressing includes one or more optical sensors configured to measure a change in color of a pH-sensitive adhesive that changes color in response to changes in wound exudate pH. In some embodiments, the wound dressing may further comprise hydrophilic channels that direct wound exudate to a pH-sensitive material over the optical sensors. Such dressings may also be used in combination with a negative pressure wound therapy system.
Positioning of sensors for sensor enabled wound monitoring or therapy
Embodiments of apparatuses and methods for determining an emplacement of sensors in a wound dressing are disclosed. In some embodiments, a wound dressing includes a plurality of sensors configured to measure wound or patient characteristics. One or more processors are configured to receive wound or patient characteristics data as well as emplacement data. The received data can be used to determine an emplacement of the plurality of sensors, the wound dressing, or a wound. The sensors can include a set of nanosensors. The wound dressing can include pH sensitive ink which can be utilized for determining a placement of the wound dressing and determining a pH associated with the wound. The wound dressing can be used in a negative pressure wound therapy system.

The electrical circuit is configured to detect, during use, a change in an electrical property of the flexible element.
Multilayer wearable device
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to monitoring one or more physiological parameters of a subject using a multilayer wearable device. In an embodiment, a multilayer wearable device is configured to be attached to a subject. The multilayer wearable device comprises a substrate having multiple layers including a first portion connected to a second portion. The first portion has a first side and a second, opposite side. And the second portion has a first side and a second, opposite side. The first side of the first portion is configured to be attached to the subject and the second portion is arranged on top of the first portion such that the first side of the second portion is disposed adjacent the second side of the first portion. And, the wearable device includes one or more electrical components configured to sense a physiological parameter of the subject.
Method for assembling a physiological signal monitoring device
A method for assembling a physiological signal monitoring apparatus on a body surface of a living body is provided, wherein the physiological signal monitoring apparatus is used to measure a physiological signal and includes a sensor module and a transmitter. The method comprises steps of: (a) detaching the bottom cover from the housing to expose the sticker from the bottom opening; (b) while holding the housing, causing the adhesive pad to be attached to the body surface; (c) applying a pressing force on the housing to cause the sensor module to be detached from the implantation module and the signal sensing end to be implanted under the body surface; (d) removing the implanting device while leaving the sensor module on the body surface; and (e) placing the transmitter on the base so that the signal output end is electrically connected to the port.
PRE-CONNECTED ANALYTE SENSORS
Pre-connected analyte sensors are provided. A pre-connected analyte sensor includes a sensor carrier attached to an analyte sensor. The sensor carrier includes a substrate configured for mechanical coupling of the sensor to testing, calibration, or wearable equipment. The sensor carrier also includes conductive contacts for electrically coupling sensor electrodes to the testing, calibration, or wearable equipment.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POWER MANAGEMENT IN ANALYTE SENSOR SYSTEM
An analyte sensor system may include a first communication circuit configured to transmit a wireless signal in a first communication mode and a second communication mode, and a processor, wherein the processor determines whether a first condition is satisfied, the first condition relating to the sensor signal or to communication by the first communication circuit, and shifts the system to a second communication mode responsive to the first condition being satisfied.
BIOLOGICAL SENSOR
A biological sensor includes a sensor body for acquiring biological information; an electrode connected to the sensor body; a first layer member configured to store the sensor body, a first adhesive layer being disposed on one surface of the first layer member facing the electrode; and a second layer member being stuck onto the one surface of the first layer member, and having a shape for covering the sensor body and exposing the electrode, a second adhesive layer being disposed on a surface of the second layer member opposite to the first layer member. A sticking surface onto a living body is formed by the first layer member and the second layer member.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING FEEDING MATURATION
A method for monitoring feeding maturation in premature babies, the method including measuring an acoustic response from a baby during a selected time period to provide acoustic information; comparing the measured acoustic response against a train data set to determine an indication of a swallow event; and measuring a respiration pattern of the baby during a swallow cycle using a peak and valley model to provide respiration data, where a feeding maturity of the baby is determinable in dependence on the swallow indication and respiration data.
