DISPOSABLE PATCH ELECTRODE STRUCTURE AND CONNECTOR OF BIO-SIGNAL MEASUREMENT SYSTEM, BIO-SIGNAL MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONNECTING WITH DISPOSABLE PATCH ELECTRODE STRUCTURE
A disposable patch electrode structure comprises a front flap and a main structure, which is attached to skin for a bio-signal measurement, the patch electrode structure feeding electrical bio-signals to a bio-signal device separate from the patch electrode structure. The front flap is separated from the main structure by a non-enclosing front flap cut, material of the front flap being thus formed as continuous material of the main structure. Materialistic connection of the continuous material between a rear section of the front flap at a non-enclosing side of the front flap cut and the main structure allows tilt of the front flap with respect to the main structure in response to rise of a frontal section of the front flap with respect to the main structure. The front flap is fully surrounded by the main structure. The front flap comprises contact electrodes at the frontal section, the contact electrodes being both connected with measurement electrodes of the main structure through conductors via the materialistic connection and connectable with counter-electrodes of a connector separate from the patch electrode structure.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR SENSOR-BASED DETECTION OF SLEEP CHARACTERISTICS AND GENERATING ANIMATION DEPICTION OF THE SAME
A system for monitoring a sleep of a user includes a plurality of patches for placement adjacent to a surface of a body of a user, a processor, and a data communication system. Each patch from the plurality of patches includes at least one sensor. The data communication system transmits positional data generated by the plurality of sensors, including orientation data and motion data, to the processor. The processing of the positional data includes detecting a change in position of the body of the user between a first position and a second position. Based on the first image and the second image, an animation of a movement of the body from the first position to the second position is generated.
CONNECTED BODY SURFACE CARE MODULE

According to one aspect, a medical device may be configured to couple to a body. The medical device may comprise a material layer; a plurality of adhesive layers coupled to the material layer and configured to couple to a user's skin, wherein each adhesive layer of the plurality of adhesive layers includes a plurality of micro passages; a channel extending between two adjacent adhesive layers of the plurality of adhesive layers; and a superhydrophobic coating covering at least a portion of each of the two adjacent adhesive layers and the material layer forming the channel.
SELF-POWERED STRETCHABLE SWEAT SENSORS
The present invention provides a flexible and stretchable wearable electronic device system. The system includes a sweat-activated battery that has an anode and a cathode and a dry electrolyte-impregnated carrier in contact with the anode and the cathode. A sweat-absorbing layer is in contact with the dry electrolyte-impregnated carrier. An adhesive layer is provided for attaching the sweat-activated battery to the skin of a user. A flexible electronic device such as a sweat sensor or a lighting element is connected to the sweat-activated battery and is powered by the sweat-activated battery.
Vital sign detection and measurement
An example monitoring device for detecting and measuring a vital sign of a subject includes: a base; a battery mounted to the base; first and second transceivers attached to the base at opposing angles, and powered by the battery to transmit pulses and receive reflected pulses; an antenna powered by the battery, and configured to wirelessly transmit data acquired from the first and second transceivers; and a computing device powered by the battery, and operatively coupled to the first and second transceivers and the antenna, the computing device having a processing device and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processing device, cause the monitoring device to determine a respiration rate by detecting a cyclical change in distance based on the reflected pulses.
Systems for radio wave based health monitoring that include an alignment feature
A device for monitoring a health parameter of a person is disclosed. The device includes a device body, a radio frequency (RF) front-end connected to the device body and including a semiconductor substrate and an antenna array including at least one transmit antenna configured to transmit radio waves below the skin surface of a person and a two-dimensional array of receive antennas configured to receive radio waves, the received radio waves including a reflected portion of the transmitted radio waves, wherein the semiconductor substrate includes circuits configured to generate signals in response to the received radio waves, and an alignment feature integrated into the device body and configured to align the antenna array with an object.
