TWO-PIECE POLYAXIAL TITANIUM HAMMERTOE DEVICE
20220110664 · 2022-04-14 ·

A two-piece hammertoe compression device is disclosed for the correction of a hammer toe deformity. The two-piece hammertoe compression device provides polyaxial motion between the device components allowing angulation of the joint for fusion. Further, the two-piece hammertoe compression device includes a distal component and a proximal component secured together. The distal component has an externally-threaded anchor with an embedded socket component. The proximal component includes an internally and externally-threaded anchor. Additionally, the embedded socket component has a ball insert component to allow for polyaxial movement and variable angle fixation at the joint.

Articular fossa prosthesis and articular prosthesis with articular fossa prosthesis

The disclosure provides an articular fossa prosthesis and an articular prosthesis with the articular fossa prosthesis. An outer cup of the articular fossa prosthesis is disposed in a target skeleton, a lining is disposed in the outer cup, an articular head structure may be movably disposed in the lining, a first communicating passage communicated with an articular capsule is disposed on the outer cup, a second communicating passage communicated with the articular capsule is disposed on the lining, and the first communicating passage is communicated with the second communicating passage to guide a synovial fluid to a contact surface between the lining and the articular head structure.

3-D PRINTED SPINAL IMPLANT

A total artificial spinous process (spino)-laminar prosthesis (TASP-LP) including a body having a portion forming a spinous process extending away from the body, a first lamina portion extending from a first side of the body, and a second lamina portion extending from a second side of the body, wherein the first lamina portion and the second lamina portion are disposed on opposite sides of the spinous process.

IMPLANT AND ANCHOR ASSEMBLY
20220062000 · 2022-03-03 · ·

An implant assembly comprising an implant having a load bearing surface with a contour corresponding to a patient's articular surface, and a bone facing surface including a fixation element, an anchor configured to be secured to bone beneath said patient's articular surface, said anchor including a second fixation element, and wherein said first fixation element is configured to be secured to said second fixation element.

Artificial Disc Replacement Device
20220071775 · 2022-03-10 ·

An artificial disc replacement device is disclosed. The device includes an upper endplate and a lower endplate, as well as a core assembly disposed between the endplates. The core assembly includes a core member with a curved engaging surface and a matrix member. The matrix member is more compressible than the core member. The curved engaging surface of the core member engages a recess in the upper endplate so that the upper endplate can translate along the curved engaging surface. The curved engaging surface has a greater curvature at its posterior end than at its anterior end to facilitate different ranges of motion during extension and flexion.

FORMING A PILOT HOLE
20220061997 · 2022-03-03 ·

A system can form a pilot hole to secure a securable element, such as an acetabular cup. A saddle can removably attach to the securable element. The saddle can confine a translator and allow the translator to move along a translator axis between a first translator position and a second translator position. A punch element can be movably coupled to the saddle and the translator such that when the saddle is removably attached to the securable element, moving the translator from the first translator position toward the second translator position can advance a tip of the punch element from the saddle through the securable element along a punch axis that is angled with respect to the translator axis. An impaction stem can be coupled to the translator by a joint, such as a ball-and-socket joint, and can impart motion to the translator.

ARTIFICIAL CERVICAL AND LUMBAR DISC SYSTEM

An artificial replacement disc includes a pair of substantially parallel plates formed to occupy a space defined by vertebral endplates, each of the plates including a plurality of spikes on a first surface and a concave trough formed on a second surface opposite of the first surface. A mobile core includes a core rim with opposing convex surfaces extending from opposite sides of the core rim, the mobile core being capable of being disposed between the pair of plates to permit the vertebral endplates to move relative to one another. The spikes on each of the plates extend substantially away from the mobile core and the convex surfaces are formed to integrally fit within the concave trough of at least one of the plates. The core rim limits lateral movement of the mobile core relative to the parallel plates. One or more insertion tools for inserting and implanting the replacement disc are also described.

Implants for spinal fixation and or fusion

Bone implants, including methods of use and assembly. The bone implants, which are optionally composite implants, generally include a distal anchoring region and a growth region that is proximal to the distal anchoring region. The distal anchoring region can have one or more distal surface features that adapt the distal anchoring region for anchoring into iliac bone. The growth region can have one or more growth features that adapt the growth region to facilitate at least one of bony on-growth, in-growth, or through-growth. The implants may be positioned along a posterior sacral alar-iliac (“SAI”) trajectory. The implants may be coupled to one or more bone stabilizing constructs, such as rod elements thereof.
