System and method for non-binding allograft subtalar joint implant
Provided is a system and method for providing a non-binding allograft subtalar joint implant for surgical implant into a person's foot proximate to the ankle. This system for repair includes at least one sterile non-binding allograft subtablar joint implant provided as a pre-formed allograft rod plug ARP having a diameter about equal to an average width of a canal between a person's talus and calcaneus bones, the ARP being resiliently compressible and flexible. When snuggly disposed between the person's talus and calcaneus bones, the ARP compresses during normal use of the person's foot and maintains the canal in an anatomically correct alignment and reduces a tendency for abnormal motion between the person's talus and calcaneus bones. An associated method of use is also provided.
Implants, devices, systems, kits and methods of implanting
A distraction kit including at least one trial insert, at least one handle for coupling to the at least one trial insert, a correction indication guide, and at least one implant. A method for performing a distraction arthrodesis including inserting at least one trial insert into a joint and selecting a trial insert of the at least one trial insert for correction of the joint in a first plane. The method also including rotating the selected trial insert in a medial-lateral direction for correction of the joint in a second plane and selecting the needed correction in the first plane and the second plane. The method further including marking at least one bone for the selected correction. Then, marking the implant with the correction indication guide to achieve proper placement of the implant and joint correction replication from the desired trial positioning. Implants, devices, and systems are also disclosed.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MODIFYING TALOCALCANEAL RELATIONSHIP IN A FOOT
A system for modifying a talocalcaneal spatial relationship in a foot in a body, including a subtalar spacer having an articulating surface and implanted in the sinus tarsi of the foot and a fastener that fastens the subtalar spacer to a bone surface in the foot, in which the articulating surface of the subtalar spacer directs relative movement between the calcaneus and the talus of the foot.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NON-BINDING ALLOGRAFT SUBTALAR JOINT IMPLANT
Provided is a system and method for providing a non-binding allograft subtalar joint implant for surgical implant into a person's foot proximate to the ankle. This system for repair includes at least one sterile non-binding allograft subtalar joint implant provided as a pre-formed allograft rod plug ARP having a diameter about equal to an average width of a canal between a person's talus and calcaneus bones, the ARP being resiliently compressible and flexible. When snuggly disposed between the person's talus and calcaneus bones, the ARP compresses during normal use of the person's foot and maintains the canal in an anatomically correct alignment and reduces a tendency for abnormal motion between the person's talus and calcaneus bones. An associated method of use is also provided.
Expandable Subtalar Joint Implant and Insertion Device
A subtalar implant that can be expanded/contracted in vivo to adjust the amount of distraction applied to the subtalar joint of a patient and a related insertion device are disclosed herein. More specifically, the subtalar implant can expand both radially and also in the angle between the proximal and distal end of the outer component of the implant. The implant comprises an internal component that allows for the distal or proximal ends of the implant to be manipulated via the insertion device. The subtalar implant and the related insertion device permit a surgeon to adjust the implant construct to suit a particular patient.
SUBTALAR ARTHROEREISIS IMPLANT APPARATUS AND TREATMENT METHOD
A device and method of manufacturing and implanting a custom subtalar arthroereisis implant having side surfaces which are mirrored in topography with the sinus tarsi of a patient. The implant is formed using images of the patient standing in a weight bearing position with their sinus tarsi and the surrounding bone structure in an anatomically correct alignment. Once implanted, the implant urges and maintains the anatomically correct alignment thereby minimizing any patient tendency for abnormal motion between said patent's talus and calcaneus.
SUBTALAR IMPLANT FOR ARTHROEREISIS OF THE TALOCALCANEAL JOINT
A subtalar implant for arthroereisis of the talocalcaneal joint. The implant being intended to be inserted into the talocalcaneal joint via its lateral orifice and having an oblong shape that extends longitudinally along an axis of insertion of the implant. The implant includes: a head with the shape of a cone of revolution centred on the axis of insertion; an anchoring thread; and a rod having the shape of a cylinder of revolution. The rod has, on its surface, the anchoring thread and being intended to be inserted up to the axis of rotation of the talocalcaneal joint. The head has, on its radially outer surface, a retaining element for retaining the implant in rotation about the axis of insertion, the retaining element being exerting retention against a colonising tissue.

Surgical implant, and associated installation tool, surgical kit and method of production
The invention concerns a surgical implant (1) for correcting the mutual positioning or orientation of the bones of a patient designed to be inserted between at least two bone bodies (2, 3) of said patient, and comprising: a main body (5) extending along a longitudinal axis (X-X), a plurality of fins (9), each fin (9) being provided with a junction edge (10) connecting said fin (9) to said main body (5), such that said fins (9) protrude from said main body (5) from the respective junction edge (10) thereof, the surgical implant (1) being characterized in that each fin (9) has a sufficient flexibility so that it can be deformed along a direction centripetal and/or parallel to the longitudinal axis (X-X) under the action of at least one of the bone bodies (2, 3) when said surgical implant (1) is inserted between said bone bodies (2, 3). Surgical implants.
