METHOD OF IMPROVING NAIL HEALTH
A method for use with a toenail or fingernail including a nail plate with a distal nail tip and a distal overgrown portion of a cuticle extending onto the nail plate. The method includes removing, with an electric powered rotatory sanding tool, the distal overgrown portion of the cuticle from the nail plate. The nail plate is buffed after removing the distal overgrown portion of the cuticle. The nail plate is cleaned after buffing the nail plate. A layer of an ultraviolet curable gel is applied to the nail plate by using a brush to push the ultraviolet curable gel onto the nail plate. The layer of the ultraviolet curable gel is exposed to an ultraviolet light source for a sufficient amount of time to cure the layer of the ultraviolet curable gel.
Light-curable artificial nails, methods of preparation and methods of use thereof
A method of preparing a light-curable artificial nail includes extracting from an adhesive film in a semi-cured state a portion of the adhesive film in a shape of a human nail. The portion of the adhesive film includes a light-curable composition in the semi-cured state. A portion of the polish film in the shape of the human nail is extracted from a polish film. The portion of the adhesive film and the portion of the polish film are combined to form layers of the light-curable artificial nail.
APPARATUS, KIT, AND METHOD FOR DECORATING NAILS
An apparatus for applying a decal to a nail of a human digit is provided. A base coat of base nail polish is applied to a nail. The base coat has a tacky surface when dry. A decal application product is pressed against the tacky surface of the base coat, and includes a substrate and at least one decal adhered thereto. The decal and the substrate have a first adhesion coefficient therebetween. The decal and the tacky surface have a second adhesion coefficient that is greater than the first adhesion coefficient to cause a subset of the decal to adhere to the base coat. A top coat of a top nail polish is applied atop of the base coat and the subset of the decal to seal the subset of the decal and the base coat.
French Manicure Safety Guide
A French manicure safety guide. The French manicure safety guide includes a body. The French manicure safety guide further includes a second edge of the body, the second edge including a straight edge configured to allow a user to produce a second manicured and polish line stylewhile protecting skin and surrounding soft tissue.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REMOVING GEL NAIL POLISH
A method and apparatus for removing a nail polish using a wearable article is disclosed. The wearable article comprises a fluid impermeable wearable glove having a plurality of finger covers adapted to receive a user finger. Two openings are defined in each of the finger cover configured to receive a cotton member and a solvent is sprayed on the cotton member of the finger cover to remove the nail polish from the user's finger. The openings of the finger cover in the fluid impermeable wearable glove are secured via an adhesive member.
LIGHT-CURABLE ARTIFICIAL NAILS, METHODS OF PREPARATION AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A light-curable artificial nail includes an adhesive section having a light-curable composition in a semi-cured state. The light-curable composition is configured to transition from the semi-cured state to a cured state based on exposure to at least one wavelength of electromagnetic radiation.
COSMETIC APPLICATORS FOR APPLYING COSMETICS OF DIFFERENT COLORS
Cosmetic applicators for applying a cosmetic to a body part of a person are disclosed. The cosmetic applicators include containers in which cosmetics of different colors are respectively contained. The applicators are constructed so that the cosmetics can either be applied together or to be applied individually.

Nail styling device
A nail styling device provides for applying a lacquer to a nail of a digit. A cuticle guard and a tip guard protect the cuticle and skin to the sides of and under the distal edge of the nail. A mold plate has a curved inner surface corresponding to a curvature of the nail and is attached to the cuticle guard by a joint. A base adjustably fixable to the cuticle guard allows for the device to be removably fixable to a distal portion of the digit. A method of using the device provides for first applying a lacquer to an inner surface of the mold plate and, with the device locked in place on the digit, rotation of the mold plate to bring the lacquer into contact with a top portion of the nail.
