Robust Adaptable Foot Prosthesis
A device is provided to allow adaptation of a prosthetic or robotic foot in the medial-lateral direction, including pronation and supination of the foot using a series of articulations. Articulations are permitted in the disclosed device due to linkage systems positioned at various locations of the prosthetic foot. In particular, the device includes multiple connected linkage systems each including upper and lower portions with an articulating contact surface designed for load carriage and stability. The point of contact between the contact surfaces of each linkage system comprises the position-dependent instantaneous center of rotation of the upper portion with respect to the lower portion. The device also includes a platform coupled between the linkage systems and a base.
TRACTION SYSTEM FOR AN AMBULATORY SUPPORT
A traction system for an ambulatory support such as a prosthetic foot blade or a crutch includes a sole plate, a latch assembly, and a strap. The sole plate is couplable to a distal end of the ambulatory support to extend under a bottom side of the ambulatory support and a latch assembly. The latch assembly includes a front catch and a rear catch both fixable at a top side of the ambulatory support with the front catch nearer to the distal end of the ambulatory support than the rear catch, and a lever having a front end and a rear end, the front end releasably latchable to the front catch and the rear end releasably latchable to the rear catch when the lever is pivoted about the latched front end. The strap is secured to the lever and to the sole plate.
TRAINING DEVICE FOR STIMULATING NERVE CELL ENDS IN A TRAINING MANNER, AND A CORRESPONDING PROSTHESIS
A training device for stimulating nerve cell ends in a training manner, includes a housing having at least one first housing portion and a plurality of stimulators for stimulating physionomie-typical nerve area portions. A plurality of stimulators are arranged systematically at least on the first housing portion of the housing so that the plurality of stimulators in the training state each act on nerve cell ends with which they are associated. Also disclose are a method for operating the training device, the use of the training device as a modular stimulation device for stimulating nerve cell ends, a prosthesis, a method for producing a prosthesis and the use of a training device for stimulating nerve cell ends in a prosthesis.
SOLE OF ATHLETIC PROSTHETIC LEG
A sole which is attached to a ground contact region of an athletic prosthetic leg having a leaf-spring-like leg portion extending to a side of a toe via at least one curved portion, the ground contact region extending in an arc from the toe to a side of the curved portion is provided. The sole includes a bottom surface having a shape conforming to an extending shape of the ground contact region, and the bottom surface has at least one width direction land portion defined by a plurality of width direction grooves extending in a width direction of the sole. Moreover, the width direction land portion includes a chamfer at each of both end edges at border positions, respectively, between a contact patch and both side walls facing the plurality of width direction grooves.
SOLE FOR PROSTHETIC LEG
A sole for a prosthetic leg, attached to a ground contact region of the prosthetic leg, includes a bottom surface including: a first inclined surface portion including a first inclined surface inclined such that an amount of recess in a sole thickness direction gradually increases from one to the other sides in a predetermined direction in a planar view; and a second inclined surface portion including a second inclined surface inclined such that the amount of recess in the sole thickness direction gradually increases from the other to the one sides in the predetermined direction in the planar view. The first and second inclined surface portions are mutually connected in a connecting direction crossing the predetermined direction in the planar view, so that a continuous groove in which the first and second inclined surfaces constitute a part of a side wall and which extends in the connecting direction is defined.
SOLE FOR PROSTHETIC LEG
A sole for a prosthetic leg is a sole which is attached to a ground contact region of the prosthetic leg with a road surface and includes a through hole at least on a partial region.
Robust adaptable foot prosthesis

Articulations are permitted in the disclosed device due to linkage systems positioned at various locations of the prosthetic foot. In particular, the device includes multiple connected linkage systems each including upper and lower portions with an articulating contact surface designed for load carriage and stability. The device also includes a platform coupled between the linkage systems and a base.
Prosthetic Foot Cover System
A prosthetic foot cover device is described. The prosthetic foot cover may include a lattice framework formed to resemble a human foot. The lattice framework has a plurality of lattice cells to form the lattice framework. The prosthetic foot cover may have an inner cavity formed in the lattice framework which is sized and shaped to contain a prosthetic foot, and the inner cavity has an opening to receive the prosthetic foot. The prosthetic foot may have a foot pad that is an outer membrane layer and is joined with a portion of the lattice framework to support a portion of the lattice foot framework.
Prosthetic Foot Cover System Using Pressure Chambers
A prosthetic foot cover device with a pressure chamber is described. The prosthetic foot cover may include a lattice framework formed to replace a human foot. An open cavity may be formed in the lattice framework, which is sized and shaped to contain a prosthetic foot. A pressure chamber may be disposed in the lattice framework. A first one-way check valve is provided for the pressure chamber to allow air to be expelled from the pressure chamber and to generate a negative pressure within the pressure chamber as an amputee uses the prosthetic foot and the lattice framework. A remnant limb socket may be connected to the pressure chamber. A negative pressure may be developed in the remnant limb socket as air is pulled from the remnant limb socket into the pressure chamber. A method for additive manufacture of a prosthetic foot cover device is also described.
FOOT SHELL SYSTEM
A system with a foot shell, which has a forefoot inner contour and a heel inner contour, at least two prosthetic feet, each with a forefoot region and a heel region, and at least two forefoot inserts that can be positioned at the forefoot region of at least one prosthetic foot, and/or at least two heel inserts that can be positioned at the heel region of at least one prosthesis region, wherein each prosthetic foot has an outer contour of the forefoot with at least one forefoot insert positioned at its forefoot region, which is adapted to the forefoot inner contour of the foot shell, and/or that each prosthetic foot with at least one heel insert positioned at its heel region has a heel outer contour which is adapted to the heel inner contour of the foot shell.
