Pack module comprising absorbent articles and at least one belt functioning as gripping device
A pack module includes a number of absorbent articles and at least one belt to which the absorbent articles can be releasably attached. The belt when placed in the pack module constitutes a gripping device which is intended to act on at least one of the articles and, at least partially, remove at least one absorbent article from the pack module when the gripping device is used. Removal of firmly compressed absorbent articles from a pack module without using additional material in the pack module is thus possible.
Bag for packing disposable hygiene items
The present invention refers to a flexible packaging, comprised by a polyethylene film, which is useful for packing disposable absorbent articles, such as disposable diapers and panties for babies and adults, feminine pads, pantiliners and the like, which may be opened and closed as many times as needed, wherein it comprises a closing system that is not altered nor loses functionality during the use and allows to open the bag to remove an article and close it again so as to protect the articles that remain inside the bag and avoid the dust, bugs or particles that may pollute same.
Packaging plant for groups of hygienic absorbent articles, transport apparatus and related methods
A packaging plant of groups of absorbent sanitary articles able to create various types of customized packages in relation to the needs of consumers, automatically and without interruptions in the production of absorbent sanitary articles. The present invention also relates to a method for managing a packaging plant. The present invention also relates to a transport apparatus for absorbent sanitary articles, as well as to a method for transporting absorbent sanitary articles.
ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A SANITARY NAPKIN AND A WRAPPER
The invention pertains to an assembly (1) comprising a sanitary napkin (10) and a wrapper (30), the sanitary napkin (10) being maintained in a folded configuration by the wrapper (3), the wrapper (3) extends in longitudinal, transversal and vertical directions (L,T,V) and comprises a corresponding length (L), width (W) and thickness (H) respectively, the folded sanitary napkin (10) also extending in said longitudinal, transversal and vertical directions, comprises a corresponding length (L.sub.10), width (W.sub.10) and thickness (H.sub.10), a top surface (4) and a bottom surface (6), the wrapper (30) comprises an upper strip (36) being in contact with the top surface (4) of the folded sanitary napkin (10) and a lower strip (38) being in contact with the bottom surface (6) of the folded sanitary napkin (10), the upper strip (36) and bottom strip (38) each comprising a respective width (W.sub.36, W.sub.38) and length (L.sub.36, L.sub.38), the upper and lower strips (36,38) being bonded together at both their longitudinal ends, characterized in that the length (L.sub.36, L.sub.38) of at least one of the upper or lower strips (36,38) is greater than the length (L.sub.10) of the sanitary napkin (10) in a folded state and the width (W.sub.36, W.sub.38) of both the upper strip and the lower strips (8, 10) is lesser than the width (W.sub.10) of the sanitary napkin (10) in a folded state.
MULTILAYER BLADDER CONTROL PAD
The absorbent pad has a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer. Each layer of the pad has a liquid impervious backsheet. The backsheet or outer layer, which faces away from the wearer when the absorbent article is secured to the wearer, is composed of a moisture-impervious, flexible material. Further, each layer has a moisture pervious inner layer and an absorbent core positioned in between the inner layer and backsheet. The layers are coupled to each other via an adhesive. They can be removed by grasping a tab placed on each layer and pulling the layer away from the unsoiled layers.
Process for making an absorbent article comprising a topsheet/acquisition layer laminate
A process of making an absorbent article comprising providing a liquid permeable topsheet web extending substantially continuously in a machine direction. The topsheet web having a first and second surface and a backsheet web extending substantially continuously in the machine direction and an acquisition layer having a first and second surface. The process comprises aligning the topsheet web and the acquisition layer in a face to face relationship such that the second surface of the topsheet in in contact with the first surface of the acquisition layer and simultaneously mechanically deforming and combining the topsheet web together with the acquisition layer. The topsheet web and acquisition layer are nested together such that a majority of the three-dimensional protrusions formed in the topsheet web coincide with and fit together with a majority of the three-dimensional protrusions formed in the acquisition layer to provide a topsheet/acquisition layer laminate web having three-dimensional protrusions.
Reclosable package and a method of making the same
A flexible reclosable package contains disposable and compressed consumer products. The package has a hexahedral shape with a top panel, a bottom panel, a front panel, a back panel, a left side panel and a right side panel. A hooded portion defines the top panel, a portion of the front panel, a portion of the first right side panel portion and a portion of the first left side panel portion. A pleated portion is provided adjacent to the hooded portion and extends from a first side panel seam to a second side panel seam. A first line of weakness, which is not visible from the exterior of the package when the package closed, is provided in the pleated portion. The flexible reclosable package can be converted from a closed configuration to an open configuration upon opening the package along the line of weakness.
ABSORBENT PRODUCT CONTAINING ABSORBENT ARTICLES EACH HAVING DIFFERENT GRAPHIC
A method for making first and second absorbent articles is described. A backsheet material is provided having a graphic printed thereon. A topsheet material and absorbent core material are provided. Portions of the backsheet material, the topsheet material, and the absorbent core material are combined to form the first and second absorbent articles. The first and second absorbent articles are packaged in a common package. Components of the graphic of the first absorbent articles are in a different position in comparison to components of the graphic of the second absorbent article.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING GROUPS OF ABSORBENT SANITARY ARTICLES
A method for folding absorbent sanitary articles, wherein a plurality of absorbent sanitary articles advancing at a first speed are alternately routed towards at least two folding lines, are slowed down to a second speed less than the first speed, are folded while advancing at the second speed and are overlapped with each other so as to form groups of articles, each of which comprises at least two folded absorbent sanitary articles overlapped with each other.
