An absorbent article includes a three-dimensional material on the wearer-facing side and an absorbent core with a material-free channel. The three-dimensional material comprises a fibrous support layer, a fibrous projection layer and a plurality of hollow projections formed from a first plurality of fibers in the projection layer.

A substantially cuboid reclosable flexible package (8) for transporting multiple personal hygiene absorbent articles on-the-go is disclosed. It has a front wall (81), a rear wall (82), two opposed side walls (83,83) and two opposed end walls (84,84). It includes a stack of at least two personal hygiene absorbent articles (1,100) comprising a garment attachment adhesive covered by a removable release paper (2), and which are folded inwardly with the removable release paper (2) exposed. The folded absorbent articles are free of an individual wrapping pouch and comprise closure means (7) for securing said folding. The package (8) is made of a plastic or paper wrap sealed at one position on either the front (81), the rear (82), or one of the two side walls (83,83), and on the two end walls (84,84). It comprises, on at least one wall, a tear-open flap (86) limited by at least one tearing line (87).

A relatively large splittable outer packaging includes a splitting structure along at least one side face panel, for separating two portions of the outer packaging into at least one relatively shorter outer package. Upon separation of the two portions, individually wrapped absorbent articles having sealed edges on the wrappers and that are contained in the outer packaging, are exposed at openings in the at least one relatively shorter outer package, for ease of dispensing.

The disclosure relates to a package including a bag and at least one stack of absorbent articles arranged in the bag, the bag being made of a paper material, wherein the bag has a sealed bottom, a sealed top, and a peripheral wall extending between the bottom and the top, wherein the top is formed by adhering inner surface portions of the peripheral wall to one another. The bag includes an adhesion layer provided on the inner surface portions of the peripheral wall, the adhesion layer being used for adhering the inner surface portions to one another, wherein the adhesion layer has a basis weight of 28-45 g/m.sup.2.

A package of personal care articles. Each of the personal care articles has a nonwoven substrate as a component. The nonwoven substrate can have a first surface defining a plane of the first surface and a non-regular pattern of a plurality of three-dimensional features extending outwardly from the plane of the first surface. The non-regular pattern can include a first zone of first three-dimensional features and a second zone of second three-dimensional features, wherein in at least one of the first or second zones of the plurality of three-dimensional features has a first three-dimensional feature having a first intensive property and a second three-dimensional feature having a second, different intensive property. The personal care articles can be compressed in the package.

A reclosable carton being capable and being adapted for accommodating a multiplicity of disposable absorbent articles is provided. The reclosable carton has a substantially parallelepiped-shape. A blank having a substantially folded flat-shape able to be converted in the reclosable carton is also provided.

A method and apparatus for storing a feminine hygiene article wherein one or more such feminine hygiene articles are received into a container. A feminine hygiene article is then restricted from forward movement so that one or more feminine hygiene articles are not accidentally discharged from container.

A package of one or more absorbent articles, wherein the one or more absorbent articles are sealed within the package is described. The package has a plurality of panels and a top fold line. The plurality of panels includes a consumer-facing panel and a top panel disposed superjacent to the consumer-facing panel. Each of the plurality of panels has an inner surface and an outer surface. The top fold line is disposed between the consumer-facing panel and the top panel, and the top fold line is colinear, at least in part, with a cross-wise crease. And the package material has natural fibers and has a basis weight of between 60 gsm to 120 gsm, more preferably between 65 gsm to 105 gsm, or most preferably between 70 gsm to 90 gsm, as determined via ISO 536 as modified herein.

A paper bag and at least one stack of absorbent pads arranged in the bag has a sealed bottom, a sealed top, and a peripheral wall including a front wall, an opposite rear wall, and first and second side walls.
