ABDOMINAL AERATION TISSUE RETRACTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A tissue retraction system that allows aeration in a skinfold of a patient needing medical attention may include a flexible frame having a defined body shape comprising an internal facing surface configured to face a crease in the skinfold, an external facing surface opposite the internal facing surface configured to face outwardly and away from the patient, a first tissue facing surface, and a second tissue facing surface opposing the first tissue facing surface. Each of the first and the second tissue facing surfaces may be configured to engage against opposing sides of the skinfold.
GARMENTS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Garments and associated methods are disclosed. In examples, a garment includes an absorbent assembly bonded to a body portion. In examples, the absorbent assembly includes an absorbent layer and overlies at least a central region of the body portion. In examples, the absorbent assembly is at least partially bonded to the body portion with elastic bonding film. In examples, the garment is configured to be washed and re-worn numerous times. In examples, a method of manufacturing a garment includes arranging an absorbent assembly over at least the central region of the body portion and bonding the absorbent assembly to the body portion with strips of elastic bonding film and without stitching. In examples, a moisture-absorbent garment includes a body layer supporting an absorbent assembly within a central region and strips of elastic bonding film that bond at least a portion of the absorbent assembly to the body layer without stitching.
Hygiene article comprising an effective odour control system
The present invention relates to a hygiene article comprising an effective odour control system, wherein essential oils, an organic zinc salt such a zinc ricinoleate, and preferably a chelating agent and/or a physical agent interact synergistically to reduce malodours of bodily fluids. The present invention is of particular importance to the field of hygiene products, in particular feminine hygiene absorbent articles (sanitary napkins, panty liners).
Breast pad
A breast pad for receiving fluid leaked from a subject's breast includes an inner layer disposed for contacting the subject's breast. The inner layer has an inner surface and an outer surface opposite the inner surface. The inner layer includes wicking material for wicking fluid from the inner surface to the outer surface away from the subject's breast. An intermediate layer is disposed over the outer surface of the inner layer. The intermediate layer includes an absorbent material for absorbing the fluid wicked from the subject's breast by the wicking material of the inner layer. An outer layer is disposed over the intermediate layer. The outer layer includes a liquid-impermeable material for trapping the fluid absorbed by the intermediate layer within the breast pad.
Absorbent garment
An undergarment includes a body portion having an upper edge defining a waistband, two leg openings and a crotch region between the leg openings; an absorbent pad on the inside of the body portion within at least the crotch region, the absorbent pad having an inner region and a peripheral region, wherein the thickness of the absorbent pad in the peripheral region is less than the thickness of the absorbent pad in the inner region; and elastic bonding film lining each of the two leg openings while overlying respective portions of the peripheral region of the absorbent pad thereby to bond the absorbent pad and the body portion. A method of manufacturing an undergarment is provided.
Absorbent garment
An undergarment includes a body portion having an upper edge defining a waistband, two leg openings and a crotch region between the leg openings; an absorbent pad on the inside of the body portion within at least the crotch region, the absorbent pad having an inner region and a peripheral region; and elastic bonding film bonded to each of the two leg openings and overlying respective portions of the peripheral region of the absorbent pad thereby to seamlessly bond the absorbent pad with the body portion.
SANITARY PAD FOR WOMEN
A sanitary napkin for women includes a permeable inner sheet, which comes into contact with the skin of a wearer to thus allow secretions to pass therethrough, an outer sheet fused to the inner sheet, and an absorption pad disposed between the inner sheet and the outer sheet to absorb the secretions passed through the inner sheet, the outer sheet being a nanolaminate film composed of a nanomembrane formed by electrospinning a polymer solution and a strength-reinforcing nonwoven fabric laminated on one side of the nanomembrane.
SANITARY AID WITH ANTIBACTERIAL EFFECT FOR STABILIZATION OF PHYSIOLOGICAL BALANCE IN VAGINAL ENVIRONMENT AND/OR EXTERNAL GENITALIA
A sanitary aid with antibacterial effect for stabilization of physiological balance in vaginal environment and/or external genitalia is made by a backsheet impermeable layer, absorbent core formed by a mixture of absorbent and/or superabsorbent and a topsheet layer from woven or non-woven textile or from cellulose. The sanitary aid contains an effective component on the basis of at least one reactive form of oxygen, which is encapsulated by an encapsulation agent, where the effective substance is arranged on the topsheet layer of the sanitary aid designated for the contact with body and/or in the absorbent core. The sanitary aid is adapted for gradual release of reactive forms of oxygen, particularly hydrogen peroxide after contact with liquid from the sanitary aid, which causes the prolongation of the effect of reactive forms of oxygen with substantial disinfection ability.
Anti-Microbial Balanced Weave and Process Therefore
In an embodiment, a material includes at least one outer section and a midsection attached to the outer section. The midsection includes a first antimicrobial membrane patch layer configured to contact a body, a second antimicrobial membrane patch layer disposed adjacent to the first antimicrobial patch layer, and an air gap disposed between the first patch and second antimicrobial patch layers. The first and second antimicrobial patch layers each are formed from respective balanced warp tows and fill tows in a plain-weave pattern, and each layer include copper filaments disposed in a plurality of the tows, each of the copper filaments including at least Cu+ or Cu+++ ions. Such a material may be suitable for notification and protection of a body from a soil deposited on the material.
DEODORIZER COMPOSITION, ABSORBING BODY, AND ABSORBENT ARTICLE
An absorbent article 100 includes an absorber 10, the absorber 10 contains water-absorbent resin particle 10a composed of a deodorant composition, and the deodorant composition contains silver zeolite, an organic antimicrobial, and a water-absorbent resin.
